[Q] Recovery mode black screen

I have a Nexus 4 with 4.2.2. I was following this guide to root:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/nexus-7-rooting-roms-hacks/253032-how-root-4-2-2-a.html
On step 10, after choosing recovery, my phone is stuck at a blank & black screen. If I hold down power, power + volume down, or power + volume up, it just boots back into a black screen. It vibrates as if it's rebooting but won't get out of the black screen. Any ideas?
Please delete..I didn't realize this was in the Nexus 7 forum. I posted in the Nexus 4 forum.

[Q] Nexus 10: Flashing Screen

I have just now realized that, on my Android 4.3 Nexus 10, clockworkmod recovery might have been corrupted somehow, so I can't go into regular recovery mode. When I upgraded to 4.4 earlier today, it got stuck in an infinite loop of, when starting up, the screen flashes. ANYWAY...I put the nexus 10 in download mode in hopes of flashing the 4.4 image onto it. My computer isnt recognizing the tablet and instead says, "Gadget Serial." I installed Kies in hopes of, seeing as the nexus 10 is a samsung device, to get the drivers, but now it doesnt even show the device. It didnt work to say the least. XDA, can you help me out with this problem...I need the drivers.
I have the same problem. After i click update to 4.4 device restart, showed the logo Google and then starting flashing. I have no rooted device. Only pure product. With power + vol down + vol up a cant go to recovery mode. It restarts device and started flashing again. Restart Bootloader changes nothing. The flashing can be turn off only with power + vol up + vol down and set POWER OFF. I dont know what to do...

Can't turn off my phone

Hello
I just flashed the newest AOSP Rom and also flash Gapps.
When I rebooted, the lg g2 logo popped up, but then the screen turnd black.
When I use the volume keys the phone starts to vibrate, so its mostly stuck.
I also can't turn off my phone.
What shell I do now, my phone is fully charged
Hold vol down and power like you were trying to boot into recovery. The LG logo should flash on the screen but keep holding the buttons until the phone shuts off. You can also then boot into recovery. I had this problem befire

[Q] Can't unlock bootloader Nexus 7 2013

My nexus 7 2013 was found frozen with Google in white on screen. research led me to Nexus Recovery Toolkit. Tried to unlock bootloader and all ok until tablet asks yes or no. I use vol button to select yes and power button to confirm and nothing else happens. I've waited for a few hours but it just sits on that screen until I intervene and reboot into bootloader screen again. This is also the only screen I can get into.
any help appreciated.
