Hello,
I still have 4.2.2 and I want to update it to 4.3. Right now I still have the Faux Kernel from June 23rd.
How can I update it to the 4.3 Android? Should I put in the Stock Kernel and then flash Faux Kernel again? Or is there a new Faux Kernel which has the OTA Update for 4.3?
Thanks in advance!!!!

If you look at the faux kernel thread, you will see that the latest V19 beta builds are intended for 4.3.
However, from what I'm reading it seems that 4.3 isn't all that. Many people are being plagued by bugs and lag, reverting back to 4.2.2.
Personally, I'm waiting a month or so until the devs cook the issues out - it's not worth my phone having issues just for a new camera interface.
YMMV.

You need stock ROM & stock kernel plus baseband .48 to flash/update to 4.3

Edit: Title should read "flashing 4.2.2 ROM over 4.2.1"
I have not gotten the ota update for 4.2.2 and flashed the latest nightly cm 10.1. My settings now say I am on 4.2.2. Is there any problem with flashing a ROM built for 4.2.2 on 4.2.1?

The only issue is you won't get the new bootloader and radio. You'll have to do that separately.
I am considering on flashing the 10.2 CM nightly on my S4, but I'm currently running stock TW 4.2.2 (4.3 isn't out for my S4 yet), would it be ok to flash a 4.3 based ROM (10.2 CM nightly) over a 4.2.2 stock? Would I need to flash anything additional (other than gapps)? : /

Dang..:/ so if I wanted to use CM 10.2 I would have to wait until the 4.3 update rolls out for my phone?

What he means is that you cannot dirty flash to a different version of android. A full wipe is required when transitioning.
my nexus 4 is running AOKP milestone 2 right now and it has the random shut off problem. some suggests changing the kernel.
question: AOKP is 4.2.2 now, can i run it with the 4.3 kernels posted in development forum, such as 4.3 AK kernel, or does the kernel has to be 4.2.2 ? If 4.3 is ok, I should flash the JSS version of kernel right?
thanks in advance!

Has to be 4.2.2 kernel. 4.3 kernels are not compatible, and on top of that, 4.3 kernels need to match the rom, either the open JSS15J or nexus 4 official JWR66 builds.
Try 1.4.1 (last build before switching to 4.3)from http://www.semaphore.gr, it has its own app for controlling the kernel.
You could also attempt the 4.3 AOKP beta build:

it all depends on your boot loader
if you rooted at 4.2.2 and installed a 4.3 rom you can still go back to a 4.2.2 stock
if your 4.3 when you rooted there is no going back to 4.2.2

This is the new stock kernel for 4.4 that let's you flash 4.4 based stock Roms strait from 4.2. You must also flash the baseband when going back and forth. (I think this is what you asked for)
If youre talking about a modified stock kernel for 4.4, then no. No one has anything out yet. And more then likely won't for a bit after all devices have access to 4.4
