I have flashed the JB 4.3 (JWR66V) on my I9505G and noticed that my volume rocker decreases the sound but not all the way to vibrate/mute.
If I restart the phone, it goes away but after a while it comes back. Any ideas?
Thanks

FIXED by reboot - My Nexus 7 3g just upgraded to 4.2 and now I have no media sound and the volume rocker doesn't work. Even when I was use the touch screen to raise the volume, and I get no sound. Anyone else?

OK everyone...I've had this problem since I first got the N4 in December and thought maybe the 4.2.2 update would fix it but it still happens.
The problem I'm having is that I can have my ringer volume set to loud and randomly the volume lowers itself and I have to turn the volume back up...
Does anyone else have this problem???
Can a mod change the subject to "ringer volume"

Hi,
I have an issue every time I install an AOKP build on my nexus 7.
When I use the volume button , up or down it always make crash/close the app that I'm into.
Any one have an idea why?
Thanks.

I am also having this issue. For me it's any sound producing app, E.g. Google Play Music, uberhype, and when the volume is adjusted either with the volume bumper or through settings the app FCs but the sound/music continues playing. Note that this doesn't always occur (sometimes I can adjust the volume as normal) buy I am unable to reproduce the event intentionally.

Try CyanogenMod or ParanoidAndroid...
PSX has it too, and pretty much every other rom based on cm has it.

I just got the G2 and its great but I can't hear any of my notifications, the volume is maxed and I still don't think its loud enough. Is there anything I can do?
Slide down the notification bar. On the right hand side of the volume rocker there's a settings Option.
Press on it and it will allow you to adjust the volume of your notifications individually.

Check if it's on Max.
