[Q] Bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 from JB 4.3 in 4.2? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it at all possible to just update the bluetooth stack from the new 4.3 release to a 4.2 rom? I don't want to give up pacman rom (or illusion) but it might be awhile before they move over to 4.3. AVRCP 1.3 is the main feature I want from 4.3. Is there any way to go about this?

Bluetooth avrcp 1.4 support

Hello,
is there a custom rom which support Bluetooth AVRCP 1.4? CM and AOKP is not really an option because I want to keep close to stock rom.
Maybe it is just possible to "build" an own custom rom from AOSP which simply adds the bluetooth stuff?!
Regards
I am wanting AVCRP 1.4 too.. I don't mind so much about staying close to stock though.. Does cm10 have it?

[Q] Pure Google Play Edition 9505G ROM for T-Mobile M919

Cross-posting here hoping this is a more appropriate place to ask the questions.
=====
Now that both Android 4.3 has been released as an OTA update and official Kernel have been posted by Samsung, I am thinking about turning my T-Mobile S4 into the 9505G (until T-Mobile releases the firmware update). I have a few questions:
- Is it safe to install the stock 9505G ROM on the M919? Do I have to worry about basebands/modems? What about the kernel? Will the new stock kernel work?
- Where do I find the latest and purest GPE 4.3 ROM? Most stock-based ROMs here are either old (not the latest) or have been modified in one way or another? Is there a link to the source?
Thanks in advance.

Did you ever get any type of answer to this question? I am looking for the same thing. I am running a Google Edition ROM but it has a lot of tweaks that I'd rather not have. I want the closest possible thing to what you buy off the Play store.

I am currently using this (v1.2):

Aside from a few removed apps, it's probably very close to the stock ROM. I've also odexed the ROM. Great ROM overall.
There is also this ROM, which seems to be close to the stock:

[Q] Nexus 4 4.3 Update help.

I have a nexus 4 running android 4.2.2 cm10.1
I want to update but i have a few questions
What is the difference between JSS and JWR?
My build shows that i am JDQ39E so am I 2 updates back?
Do I just flash a 4.3 rom or are their any steps I should take first?
I want my final setup to be the 4.3 version paranoid android and franco kernel.
If you want OTA updates, you will only get JWR. JSS is source only.
If you want your final step to be 4.3 PA, stick with CM for now and wait till PA releases a STABLE 4.3.
If you didn't know, google changed quite a lot of things for 4.3 and now root is very iffy.

Android 4.3 ROMs and Bluetooth 4.0 Support

Now that the official updates for the Google Edition 4.3 have been released, do any of the ROMs have 4.0 support? I can't seem to find an answer on this in any of the ROM threads.

I have two friends with their devices on 4.3 - one of them has had no issues with 4.0 being supported at all. The other runs into small issues here and there but overall is successful. Don't know what would cause this but that's what we've noticed.
Hope this helps.

[Q] Sacs ROM 4.2 (v8) vs 4.3 (v2/3)

So I've been on stock mf9 rooted for awhile now and I was thinking about flashing to Sascs ROM. However there is both a 4.2 version and a 4.3 version. My question, basically, is if there are any cons to using the 4.3 rom over the 4.2 one, since 4.3 is newer. Like, is it stable enough to use as a daily driver yet, and are there any features not yet implemented that are in the 4.2 that might be worth sicking with 4.2 for awhile over? And how much "better" (in terms of new features/speed/battery/etc) 4.3 ROM in general?
Hope that was succint enough. Thanks!
I updated from Sacs 4.2 to his.3 rom and IMHO as far as features go, there isn't any noticeable difference. If anything you have more freedom to mod with 4.2 considering 3minit is built in and is not yet compatible with his 4.3 rom. Both roms are rock solid though so can't go wrong either way. Hope this helps!
I prefer his 4.3 ROM because it is the newer software, but his 4.2 ROM is more stable. My phone sometime freezes on the 4.3 ROM
