I have recently installed the 16.06 version of Quarx's Cyanogenmod after using CM 7.2, and I am really satisfied with this ROM. The only thing that annoys me, is that I can't find the option to set how long you have to hold a key before the alternate key is activated. I could set the time in milliseconds in CM 7.2, but I don't know whether it is possible or not to set it here. Is it possible to change it somehow, or the only way is to use another keyboard application?
Thank you for any kind of help!

I use button savior, but want to see what everyone is using.
Does CM7 with tablet tweaks count? Awesome setup!
Softkeys. First used it on rooted stock. It works great and I'm used to it. Just set the button to 95% transparency to find it when I lose it and to keep it mostly hidden.
Well I've LG Nexus 4 with sensor not working for about 1 inch from bottom. it's mean I can't select anything from bottom, so I need an app, script or like tab button (like on windows computer) from which we can jump from one option to another.
I hope you got my point!
Please HELP

I am using Carbon ROM (Unofficial 20140107-2007) on my Verizon LG G2 and can't change any of the lock screen targets. Am I missing something here? I tried searching as well and either couldn't find the right key words or there wasn't anything, and since I am a noob couldn't post in the ROM thread. Anyone got any advice?
So far it's an awesome ROM, love everything about it, and will love it even more when the menu buttons can be altered.
Is the option in there or you just can't find it? If its there it might just be a bug. I think they just implemented that in the last few days so it might be a bit quirky.

The options are there for me to change them, but no matter what I select, it stays "empty". I am actually using Cover lockscreen for now until the company forces me to put a passcode to lock my device.
Hey there guys, I have this problem that is really bugging me.
I was using CM 10.2.1 and it ran perfectly, but eversince updating to CM11 it seems like the apps/system doesnt recognize that im running a galaxy s4 and therefor has an in-app menu button. So basickly in every app there is a dedicated menu button like there would be if your device doesnt have one off screen, and it bothers me. Does anyone know how to fix this on CM 11?
Hello,
PLEASE, I need some serious help. I received my Mi 9T today. I am DESPERATE with
the lock screen, having the following 3 MAJOR issues:
1. I have a stupid "Swipe up to unlock" screen, before I get to enter my password. I only found how to get rid of it, if I am not using any screen locking method. But as soon as I choose a password, it is back again. HOW do I get rid of it, so I directly get to see the keyboard for entering my password ?
2. I need to use a secure password (containing numbers as well). The keyboard on the lock screen only has letters... How do I get the additional line with numbers ?!? On a 6.4" screen there is PLENTY of space for that !!!
3. I seem to be faster than my phone - when I quickly type in my password, the phone gets stuck after the 5th character and I must type my password VERY SLOWLY for the phone to grasp it !! HOW is this possible ?!? Are we in 2020 or in 1970 ?!?
Many thanks to ANYONE who is able to get this solved !!
Hello,
- Why don't use fingerprint unlock feature if you are lazy to slide to unlock? ^^ EDIT: This option is hidden in "Developer Options", but seems to don't work if one lock method is set... => https://youtu.be/8RNZDZBeRd8
- Beta MIUI 11.2 Android 10 ROM has a better "unlock keyboard" with a digits line on top. Don't know if latest MIUI 11 Android 10 Global/EEA Stable ROM got this change yet.
- Don't have this issue on beta (I'm using latest xiaomi.eu custom MIUI ROM "weekly/beta" version).
OK, then I will try to do this update.
I would just like to ask you, if you could advise how I can install only the MIUI update, without going to
Android 10 ? I am afraid, that going to a higher Android version might cause some problems, as I always keep reading on the internet, how various problems start after updates - wi-fi stops being stable, audio quality drops, battery starts draining, etc.
I really don't have the nerves and the time for such issues...
Many thanks in advance!
You have read about beta releases probably. Just go with stable and you'll be fine
Thanks. Today I installed the MIUI 11.whatever STABLE release...
1) the keyboard for entering the password on the lock screen is still missing the upper row with numbers
2) typing in the password quickly still makes the keyboard stuck
In summary, nothing changed !!! ((
