I am wondering how to turn off the svoice text to speech engine for the maps. It sounds awkward. Did any one try to disable svoice and use google's instead?
Google's text to speech is so clear and sounds human unlike svoice which sounds robotic.
Settings> My Device> Language and Input> Text-to-speech options. Change it to Google and that should set you straight.

Click to collapse
google voice? I did it from the website... voice.google.com
sign in... go to settings at the top, and click "voice settings"... then click the Voicemail & text tab and uncheck Email me the message to: and save the changes.
I think you're also able to do it from the phone itself in the google voice settings menu
Is possible create something that uses google gesture to write messages?!
Or maybe the google voice?
Tks
Not sure about using Google gestures, but to dictate messages all you have to do is press the microphone button on your keyboard and wait for the prompt.

I love the feature of allowing me to ignore a call with an automatic text message. Is there a way to do this using Google Voice text instead of the Samsung text app?
I've thought the same, but haven't found a way to do it.
How do I turn off the sound? Everytime I type in a url it says "loading started" and "page loaded". Don't know how to disable it.

It's a bug with accessibility - you either need to disable any accessibility settings (for most people, it's Lightflow that's been installed and been enabled in accessibility which triggers it, but it can be anything), or you have to disable the Text To Speech.

Hello
When I click the microphone icon or say the phrase 'ok Google' the search window opens for an instance and then closes again. There is no error message. This behavior is regardless of where I perform the search. The result is the same from the Google now view, when the screen is off or for voice searches from within the imdb app.
When I restart the phone the problem usually goes away but is back after a voice search or two.
What should I do?
