Flash triangle away to reset your flash counter.
Find your stock rom on sammobile and flag it as PDA in Odin. This will test everything to stock and restore the stock recovery.
Job done.

If you dont care or have no warranty, so no need for triangle away. See my singnature to unroot and back to stock

Ok , thank you guys :d

Flashing with the official rom will wipe everything... so dont worry abt rooted condition. Use triangle away to reset your flash count
Sent from my GT-I8552 using xda app-developers app

But if my galaxy s4 running omega rom , triangle away will brick my phone ?

Then you must flash stock rom.don't use triangle away ...

[Q] Bypass Flash Counter I 9500 - Flash Custom Recovery

Hi all,
Is it possible too flash a custom recovery via goo manager in a stock root injected I-9500 ?
If yes then wouldn't we be able to flash roms without odin via the recovery and the flash counter would remain at zero ?
I am tempted to try this. But seems too simple for others not to have tried this before me.
Let me know if I am totally missing something and if some one has tried this before.

Not possible to install custom software on and from a not rooted S4 atm. Security has tightened since the S and S2.

Then you allredy have the counter raised, 1 or 10 will not make a difference for warranty. That`s gone allready bro if they check that and unfortunately triangle Away doesn`t work yet for the I9500.
I have used this for root.

This doesnt effect flash counter.

Finally Downgrade is a Yes.

For all those who are looking for a downgrade from Kit-Kat to JB, It is very much possible.
Device : I9500
1.Flash the pit file.
2.Flash JB Boot-Loader(Optional)
3.Flash Official JB ROM.
I have my device now running JB downgraded from 4.4.2.
Where i get jb bootloader i also want 2 downgrade

I dont have the file. I got it done through a friend of mine who works for Samsung. As we are working with the
pit file, I would suggest you get it done officially.
And wat abt knox status
Fully official. Binary and Knox are 0.

I pretty much don't have an idea on this. But it does give you a confirmed downgrade to JB.
And with samsung's new certificates on security you lose all your data. :crying::crying:
Thanks !
You Made My Day :good:
If KNOX doesn't reset, it's kinda pointless to do so...
One worker of Samsung could downgrade one firmware..... something new on this?
* EDIT: Expect 10023849238492384 millions of threads asking for this .PIT file
Ill try my best to get the pit file.

is there another pit for I9500 other then "Adonis"???
i dont think so
Downgrade I9505 from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2
I have just found a German YouTube video with working downgraded 4.2.2 for i9505. I also see that they're using the Adam 1.6 kernel. The only thing is that it's MF8 firmware. I would prefer MGA or MH8. The main reason I would like to be able to downgrade if I ever end up with 4.3 or above is so I can use Jkay Deluxe as the dev seems to have given up. It's the only mod that has what I want. There's no alternative that I can find.
Moreover 4.3 seems to have a better battery optimization. I don't know if kitkat has that. And i don't find much difference in ui.

Your KNOX will always 0x1, so at first download official firmware from sammobile.com than download odin, in AP choose your extracted firmware md5 file and flash it after successfully flashing it must say PASS! when your phone finishes booting go to recovery and factory reset.

Can I flash directly for Kitkat? Or do I need to flash the original firmware first before I update to kitkat. Sorry for asking too much question newbie here Lol!
no problem if I know I share my opinion you can flash whatever you want, if you want KK or JB but you must know that you can't downgrade kitkat to jellybean so you choose

Bumping not allowed.
Plus if you flash anything custom, it will trigger the knox counter whichvoids warranty.
All I can say is, if you dont care about warranty, flash ozcan v5.2 or hassan rom.
If you care about warranty, wait

Well if you can see that method is for i9505. Towelroot wont work with an i9500.
So no towelroot, no root access, no root acces, no mobile odin, no mobile odin, no flashing thus ultimately no i9505 custom rom method.
Plus those files are specifically for i9505.
And you cannot flash a i9505 kernel on i9500

Well if that worked i9500 wouldve been equally popular as compared to its brother i9505.
There is minimal developement because of the restrictions and limitations on our "octa-core"
