[Q] Media volume sync? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

It's quite annonying for me, when the device is vibrate only or silent, to have media volume still maxed out.
I was thinking something like a Tasker profile, that syncs the ringtone/general volume with the media.
Does anyone have any clue on how to do this?:good:

Tasker gurus.... Anyone? :

[Q] Skipping songs using headset?

Just wondering if there is a app/rom or tasker setting that can allow me to skip songs using the button on my earphones. I remember in Bionix I could pause/play but couldn't skip, and now that I'm on macnut R2 I don't even have that. Its the one thing I miss having upgraded from the iphone.

Are you using the stock music app? Maybe try a different one like winamp?

alarm app?

Is it possible to use the nook color as an alarm? I am not sure if the device going to "sleep" will allow to do so.
I use it sometimes. The speaker is a bit quiet though... not the greatest. Try one like alarmdroid or one that plays music.

gingerbread music player auto shuffling?!?!?!

Anyone else got this issue, the new stock music player, whether I'm using onscreen buttons or BT remote, is automatically shuffling?
i.e. I press skip and it shuffle skips. I can't seem to turn it off. If I hit the shuffle onscreen button it physically messes up the playlist album order.

Use PlayerPro? or download the new Google Music app from the Market.
I'd recommend songbird.

I also found this annoying, especially while watching video etc. The only solution I ever found was to mute the sounds, which stopped the alerts interrupting the music or video playback, and as a bonus, you still hear the ringer through the headphones
If you have/use tasker, you can create a policy that detects when your watching films or listening to music and automatically sets the alerts to mute, then sets it back when your done.
But how to mute? I selected mute sounds in configuration and player stopped too.

I just mute it using the mute/vbrate toggle in the quick setting menu and still am able to play music via google play or videos
