Just wondering if there is a app/rom or tasker setting that can allow me to skip songs using the button on my earphones. I remember in Bionix I could pause/play but couldn't skip, and now that I'm on macnut R2 I don't even have that. Its the one thing I miss having upgraded from the iphone.

Are you using the stock music app? Maybe try a different one like winamp?

I've had my Vibrant for over a week and have been using Mixzing as my everyday music player simply because the stock player does not include a shuffle all option. Am I correct that there is no shuffle all option?

I was looking for the same thing, and didn't find it the exact button as in MixZing, but you can select All and then play a random song and then hit the little shuffle symbol on the left and it will shufle through all your music.

I am looking for a way to queue up music to play after whatever is playing now.
Either by finding a good Music Playing App that will allow me to queue up tracks OR by customizing the stock music App. I'd rather customize the stock App as I like the way it works.
Any ideas? I have searched the forum extensively for this - have I missed it somewhere?
doubletwist
Doubletwist player allows to queue up music.
Could always try winamp for android http://www.winamp.com/android
Thanks I will check those out!
Anyone seen any way of customizing the stock music player to do this?
Poweramp also allows you to Queue a song for playback.
The stock music app does this

MixZing does that

PlayerPro also allows you to easily change the song order. It's kinda pricy (get the trial first), but you wouldn't regret using it. Tried many others, always came back to it. And IIRC, TTPod also has this. Haven't used it for quite some time, so I might be wrong. Just experiment.
Anyone else got this issue, the new stock music player, whether I'm using onscreen buttons or BT remote, is automatically shuffling?
i.e. I press skip and it shuffle skips. I can't seem to turn it off. If I hit the shuffle onscreen button it physically messes up the playlist album order.

Use PlayerPro? or download the new Google Music app from the Market.
I'd recommend songbird.

Eh, it doesn't have near the amount of features in PlayerPro
yeah using winamp at present which I like but stock has a few features
- good lockscreen integration (don't like winamp's style)
- ratings
