I backed up my apps with titanium backup and now they won't restore. So anyways is there another way to get them back? Or fix titanium backup?

You could ODIN back to your STOCK firmware for your specific carrier. That will get you back all stock Samsung apps as well as Carrier apps.

Is this possible? I'm asking because I would like to switch to 2.2 when the rooted version comes out, but I don't want to lose all my apps, contacts, settings, etc... I'm currently on the rooted stock rom.
So is this possible to do? I tried searching around the forum, but I couldn't find anything... maybe I was searching for the wrong things.
Thanks!
Shawn
As far as I understand it, it's highly advised you do. But you can use something like Titanium backup, buy the donate version, to backup all of your apps and phone content.
Super important tool when flashing ROMS.
Mybackuppro is good as well. You can do an online backup as well.

I looked up Titanium Backup and it looks legit... this will backup all my stuff from 2.1 and be able to restore to 2.2?
Also, why would I need Nandroid in addition to Titanium Backup if I'm already rooted? Is there a reason I need both?
Thanks for the help!
Shawn

Yes you can but if you changed anything app related it would not transfer when you restore your backup. You can backup your apps and then restore them in any rom using Titanium Backup.
Thank you fiddlefaddle and thank you airmaxx
I made a backup of oxygen with .32 kernel. Now I am on ICS aurora 4.1 and I want to restore my backup of oxygen. can I restore without problems?
my CWM is 5.5.0.4 version
EDIT: it is the wrong place, please some moderator move to the right place
yeap wrong place, but answer is you will probably not see your backed-up apps even if you restore them.
Install apps from play store again.

Do you want to restore the entire rom? If so, I think you need to go back to official 2.2 from huawei, and then restore the oxygen backup.

yes, I want to restore the entire rom, but without a downgrade to stock rom 2.2. but never mind, I have afraid to break my phone with the downgrade

You must install official 2.2 first, if not, you won't have network when you restore oxygen.

I am not so frequent ROM switcher but whenever I do it's little pain and frustrating because I am newbie. I used so far Mybackup Pro and Titanium Backup Pro to backup and restore apps and data.
But I wonder if there is clean and easy way of doing it? I mean recently I tried GE4.3 ROM from stock and when I was restoring apps it was failing with mybackup pro (no apps restored whatsoever) and with titanium backup pro multiple apps failed after restoring.
Also if there is anyway one can restore all accounts (gmail, yahoo, skype etc) rather than manually entering every time you switch a ROM.
Help/inputs are appreciated!!
Thanks in advance and Thanks button hits will follow!!
Here's a trick. After you've flashed a rom and it's booted up, boot back into your recovery and restore just the data portion of your most recent nandriod. It'll bring back all your apps and settings. Works almost all the time.

You mean in TWRP just select Data and deselect all other (Boot, system, Cache.. etc?)

The roms should be from the same base, ie tw or cm,etc If your going from a tw to a cm it won't work well

I've backup of stock ROM and the ROM I am trying to flash is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2349077.
Should that be a problem because stock rom is 4.2.2 and this one is 4.3?

Stock rom is touchwiz, the rum you flashed isn't. That's why it isn't working. If you restore from titanium, don't restore system data, just restore apps.
I broke my phones screen, I have the best buy replacement plan, its also rooted, what's the easiest way to dump my phone and restore it to the new one?
I backed up with twrp, does it work to just restore data on the new phone?

As long as it's the same phone you are getting and same recovery too. I've done it before on the s3.
If that doesn't work you could use a app like titanium backup or rom toolbox to back up your apps then restore them on the new phone.

I actually think I tried it and it ended up having numerous force closes and crap like that. I think I'll try titanium.
I've got my internal storage backed up to the SD card, a titanium backup, and a twrp backup. I'll probably just use titanium.
