I have an S4 Active, but I think the question pertains to both S4 and the Active since they are very similar to each other.
I tried to disable Samsung apps OR other unnecessary apps (through the Application Manager) that I don't use, whether it is a foreground apps (Samsung Hub) or background app (Samsung SyncAdapter). However, this CRASHES TouchWiz.
So which one can I disable safely?
These are the list I see from the Application Manager:
SAMSUNG APPS
com.samsung.app.playreadyui
S Translator
S Voice (I use Google)
Samsung Account
Samsung Apps
Samsung Apps Widget
Samsung Books
Samsung Calendar SyncAdapter (I use Pocket Informant)
Samsung Cloud Data Relay
Samsung CLoud Quota
Samsung Contact SyncAdapter (I use Google)
Samsung Games
Samsung Hub
Samsung Link
Samsung Music
Samsung Print Service
Samsung Push Service (this keeps running and waking up my phone)
Samsung SBrowser Bookmark Sync
Samsung SBrowser Tab SyncAdapter
Samsung SNote SyncAdapter
Samsung Syncadapters
SamsungHub Updater
SamsungSans

Rule #0 - try to do the search first before treating me like a noob.
I HAVE searched for it but NO THREAD listed the stuff I listed above, it's either remove all or none. I just want to remove some of the stuff because otherwise removing all will break Touchwiz.
Also, I am not rooted (cannot use Debloat tool) because no root exists yet for the S4 Active.
there is no de-bloater zip ?
Try this, Google "bloatware s4 xda"

That is exact thing to type to. wow, I found it in 2 secs.
Chill out. The S4 Active is NOT an S4. This phone doesn't even have its own forum on xda, yet. This device is barely in its infancy, and there aren't many threads on the web talking about debloating the Active (SGH-I537) or much else besides geohot's Active root.
I have this phone, and the post above is useful. Stop acting like this is an S4. Its simply not.
+1.
I stop responding when others were pissy at me just for asking.

Lol WOW I feel like a tool. Should have checked the dates... Hmm... So it's been over a month and we STILL don't have a forum, or dare i say- SUBforum??
Tsk. Tsk.
Edit: Traded the S4 active in for the S4. Much more love for this device. The only feature I missed was the vokume rocker flashlight... I have it now thanks to xposed framework

I don't have the "samsung Apps" app. I am rooted I even did a factory refresh. Can I downloaded it? Could not find on Samsung site. Thanks.

Google I/O tab ?
if not check here
Unless there's some hidden features that I don't know about, I would say the Samsung App" app is pretty useless. It shows some pretty lame looking apps that you can easily find on Android market. Don't worry, you're not missing anything.
Agreed Samsung apps is terrible

I wanted to install galaxy note's "My Story" app, but it says that it requires SPS ( samsung push service ), and it can only/must be downloaded from google play. However, I did not find it there.
Where can I get this? the app gave me a link to download, it was an *.apk, but was not able to istall it as it gives me an error message saying that I can only install if it was downloaded from google play.
If you crate a Samsung account in Samsung apps you will automatically get Samsung push service and from Samsung apps you can download my story app

Since updating my Galaxy S4 to the 4.3 OS, the app “Beaming Service for Beep’nGo” continues to appear as an update in Play Store. The problem is that the ‘parent’ app, “Beep’nGo” is NOT installed on my phone. Does anyone know how to remove it? Tx

Since I use BeepNGo, I don't want to myself, but have you tried freezing it with Titanium Backup?

Where did you find the app? I don't find it in my list of apps & it didn't appear in an ES Explorer search. Haven't tried TB.

You may have to reinstall BeepNGo first in order to properly get rid of it.
Titanium Backup is acknowledged as the best backup app out there and well worth buying the license.
It can do many things - freezing and removing apps being one thing, but you may need the full licensed version to do what you need.
You also need to be rooted.

Well, I installed the app from Play Store then uninstalled using Android Assistant. Then powered off & the Beep’nGo app was no longer there. However, the beaming app was still listed as an update in Play Store!!! I double-checked my backups via MyBackupPro & the parent app had not been backed up in the past. So, I guess I'll just have to live with the stupid beaming utility existing in Play Store forever as I'm not going to root my phone.

'
Mobeam service application'
That's what you want to freeze/uninstall using Titanium to remove 'Beaming service for 'Beep 'n go'.

I have the same problem. Can't get rit of it in the google play list, so can't remove it, and it keeps trying to install with any updating. Realy awfull spam app. Hate it, but can't be removed...****ty google play!!!! Google should make it easier to remove apps from your list!!! Why don't they??
Please give the add-on (link) and the original app (link) a 1-star rating. With enough low ratings, they might reconsider forcing this down our throat. (I have an S5 by the way, same crap)
I got it removed...finaly.
I installed Titanium Backup and deleted it from the backup list. After that it had a "x" in google play and so i could then remove it. FINALY!!.
But still...removing ANYTHING should be made a lot easier by Google in the first place!
Hi,
I have a friend with a Russian note II and access to Russian Samsung store. He showed me a free new S-Note app upgrade for his note II available on that store. When I am trying to open the same app (by shared link) on my Canadian Samsung App store it says that this product is not available in this store. I also tried to register with different accounts, got the same result.
Is there any way to get new S-Note on my Note II without rooting device? I own a new Note 10.1 2014 and I want to have synchronization.
And rhetoric question, why we don't have new S-Note in Samsung App Store?
You can get it on the Samsung app store.

My Samsung Apps doesn't show it...
Mine too...
Well, I got a link for a working new S-Note downloaded from Samsung Apps. It is little bit suspicious. I checked it with AVG and it looks fine.
Here is link to the S-Note at Samsung Apps, which is not working for me.

Have you upgraded to 4.3?
Nope
I hope that there will be a way to SNote work on 4.1.2. I go to 4.3 only when Neak kernel will work
I guess that is another way to boost the sound on the headphones ?
I've had these obnoxious notifications appear regularly since updating to KitKat. App Info indicates that they are tied to Google Play Services. Does anyone know how to remove them permanently? Tx

You get these notifications through the gallery app? Are the messages showing up in the notification tray? And last, does it affect the app in any way, or just annoy you? There are apps that have the function to block all notifications broadcasted through individual apps. I use Android Tuner to do that. There is a setting when selecting an app in the app manager through the app that allows you to do that. You will also find an unbelievable amount of things you can do to your phone with this app as well.
Thanks for your answer. My bad as my question was answered elsewhere.
