As title suggests my phone reboots when uninstalling any app via google play store or settings/apps.. it soft reboots from the rom load up logo
i've tried
reinstalling the rom/gapps
wiped system/cache/dalvik
deleted google play app data
deleting accounts
using stock kernel
used diferent launchers
virus scans
removed all apps recently installed (uninstall does work, it reboots imediately on completion)
i really want to avoid wiping the data partition which is all i can think is wrong.
anybody come across this ? any ideas

Ur phone may RIP!!
I haven't come across such problem....Just wipe the cache, dalvik cache & flash the stock rom with the stock kernel.
Did you try uninstalling using titanium backup?
Does that cause reboot as well?
I gave up and formatted the data partition, I guess it got corrupted somehow or maybe a virus was responsible.
Working ok now...shrugs

So when I open TB It does all the stuff that it always does and then after like 2 secs my phone just reboots :/ This started happening after I wiped dalvik cache, atleast I think it did. I tried uninstalling it and re-installing frtom market but still the same problem :/
Really need help!
try re-flashing your ROM with clockworkmod
Go to manage applications and open TB. then clear data and cache. May be solved. Worth giving a try before installing new rom.
Even try uninstalling and re-installing.

Maybe OC?
I had problem with rebooting buzz while using TB. Everything back to norm after restoring stock cpu freq.
None of the above worked, so guess I'll just have to flash newer nightly and see if it works..
Hello. I have a stock 4.5.91 At&t Atrix, unrooted, and with a locked bootloader. When I booted up today, some applications that are in my Media Area had disappeared. In the Manage Apps section, it lists them in com. form. For example, Tank Hero is named com.clapfootgames.tankhero. When I try to move these apps back to the phone or clear their data, the system says they don't exist. Rebooting doesn't help, and I don't want to factory reset, as I have 90+ downloaded apps.
I'd try clearing the dalvik cache and cache partition. Not sure how to without cwm. Faced the same issue couple of times...

Upon rebooting, the apps were restored, but I know this problem will persist. I'll live with it until I root (which I'm very tempted to do). Thank you for the reply!
Every single time I try to restore a backup I always wipe data, cache and dalvik and then I restore the backup made with clockwormod in the clockworkmod recovery. But I always get the next message: ''Unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped'' which is very frustrating because I have to press ok everytime it appears and every time I close it, it opens again; so I can't use my phone. Also, Google Play, Dropbox, Googe partner setup and I get those messages too. I've searched for help on many sites and they keep telling me to go to apps manager and stop download manager, google play services, google framework, etc. And I managed to go to settings and do it in the only second I have between closing the message and it opening itself again. But it didn't work. Also I wiped cache and dalvik after restoring but still get the loop. The only thing I can do to stop the loop is wiping data but I don't want to lose my data (that's why I made the backup that doesn't work now). I also tried advanced restore and restored everything but data, I didn't get either the loop or the data. And when I restored only data in advanced restore I got the loop. Also I tried flashing the gapps for Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat from recovery but still got the loop. Maybe it happens because I had uninstalled most of the google apps that came as system apps using ROM ToolBox pro?
When i was flashing some app, my nexus stopped at the boot animation during reboot. I tried clearing cache and flashing the kernel again without luck. So i flashed system.img using fastboot. After a reboot all my apps are gone. I can still see my sdcard data from the computer. How to restore my apps with data. Also google apps seems to be missing as well (Only few apps like maps, email, play games/movies etc are present and they are not working as well since google play services not running). I am not able to add an account. Please help
Somebody please help me out.
What did you try to flash that caused this?
I flashed moto g gallery from apps and themes section. I ended up formatting everything (I did back up my sdcard which contains my earlier TiB backup files). What I want to know is that whenever i messed up system files in kitkat or JB, flashing the same system.img restores everything without effecting my apps/apps data. Will it not work in LP ? Have anyone tried this.
The new installation wasn't pretty as well. I was not able to login to my google account (couldn't connect to google servers). After repeated tries I was able to do so. I installed all my previous apps from wondershare toolkit. But after a random reboot/s some(not all) of my apps are missing which I am pretty sure installed and check in app drawer.

I use an i9506, and i tried flashing a few roms on it. However, cyanogenmod always caused a bootloop so I reverted back to an old backup. Then one day, I noticed that play store kept crashing. So I tried editing the hosts, wiping cache, even factory reset but Play store kept finding a way to srop working. Right now, my play store opens but crashes soon after and keeps on crashing until i wipe the data. The it repeats. Can anyone give me a solution?

Try doing a clean wipe, not factory wipe. Then re-flashing rom with the correct gapps.
Deleted data expunged
