One simple question here.
Does the new Galaxy S4 mail client(4.2.2) use group conversations for its mails?
Thank you

Hi guys,
following problem, have my galaxuy tab connected to my company exchnage account. All works fine, just one problem when I receive calendar invitations..
the buttons to Accept, Reject the invitation are missing.
Never had that problem on my HTC HD2 with Android on it.
Found some others with the same problem online, but no resolution available.
Anybody any idea?
This is really annoying and unexpected.
I have a Nexus One for a year now, and accepting invitations an android is a core feature and working great since Android 2.2, but is obviously not implemented in Samsungs email.apk for the Galaxy Tab.
Alternative
Well there is always another way. . . Using TouchDown now from NitroDesk and really happy with that. . . Faster. . All features back and very reliable
Hi
What you could try to do is to look at what date the invitation concerns and then open up your calender and go to that date and you should be able to accept/decline the invitation.

Hi
Recently got a galaxy tab 10.1, and has 3.1 installed - no upgrade available yet apparently.
Anyway, I'm not sure if I've missed something glaringly obvious, but I'm reasonably literate with stuff like this. I'm trying to get my email setup, and have tried a number of apps. Until ICS comes out, Ive decided to use the stock email app, the samsung one..
Anyway, I can add multiple accounts, so I've got gmail, hotmail etc. The only problem is gmail (IMAP?) has a change displayed name feature, whereas hotmail (on activesync?) doesn't... So if my email was [email protected], my gmail has a setting to change that to whatever I want, in this instance Mr Bob Smith. However, the hotmail doesn't, and when I send an email, it's from bigbillybob, essentially just the first part of the email address.
I can't believe that this is a bug / intentional, but the setting isn't there under the hotmail account. I was hoping someone could shed some light on this. No luck searching - Otherwise it's a great little device.

I found a workaround to change the "Your Name" setting in the stock Email app. I posted the details at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31342076.
Hi,
I need to replace my S4 Mail app with the original ASOP Mailapp and would also like to come around the PIN unlock that my exchange server obliges me to use.
Thx for any hint.
Hi
I got something strane on my Nexus 4.
The stock mail widget keeps the mails highlighted after I read them or even after I delete them.
Only after few Sync I do, they desepeare...
Any suggestions please...
Nexus 4, Kitkat 4.4.
Thank You.
I recently noticed that my gmail app wasn't alerting me to new emails. Not only on my s4 but on my tab as well. It's very frustrating because I use my email for thing's other than personal use. If there is a fix for the sync or notifications, I'd be glad to try it. Thanks in advance!
