hi frnds ..
i m going thru a strange trouble in my gene.recently my gene is showing me some unwanted behavior.it is automatically playing all my audio stuff at double the original speed.when i mean audio stuffs..it contains each n every single audio tat i can play.like my songs,my ringtone wen sumone call me ,my text msg tone,all system tones..plus it plays the videos in ff.i dnt know wat to do.
helps: i found temporary solution to ths problem by myself,but i still cant give a damn explanation to it.why it happens and how it is treated just by inserting my headphone n then dissconnecting it.wen i do so everything gets normal all system tones n songs.sometimes it is done by restarting also but restarting doesn't work always.
you cant be sure wen its going to b excited,it happends at random time.pls help!!! ths is rly a mess. i cant go everywhere carrying ma headphones.
Try a different ROm,seems like u r a old gene user.

im a big video streamer when it comes to my phone, today i installed hyperdroidgbx cm7 v1.0.3 and im loving it so much.. probably the best rom out in my opinion but i have on little issue, which ive had with all the other roms ive tried, when i run a flash video from lets say j.tv it starts off great but then it always seem to cause my phone to freeze atleast 4 or 5 minutes into the stream...
does anybody have a fix or know why this would be happening to me?
does anybody else have this issue or is it just me?

oh ok, but its weird that it doesnt freeze while on wifi only thru data itll freeze... thanks for the info

has anyone had an issue with moving apps into sd and not having them work unless their on the phone itself????
i cannot run any apps if they are installed in my sd
hey guys i have rooted my phone i have 2.1 ...but the problem is that i cant play videos(im using mvideoplayer) like movies i tried to downgrade the bitrate to 1000 and 300 at 24-25-30 fps but nope it still lags... even what i record with the phone is lagging, plus most of the songs i play with mort player have lag issues the dont play right... any one have a solution ? anyone have same problem? is best to update/fix from pc companion and try to root again??

i think the best solution is to reset it using pc companion
Edit: but remember to backup ur data.pc companion will wipe ur data.
i reset the phone from SE companion still i have some lag issues...is best to to take the phone for a service or try format the sd card because maybe is there a problem and not in the phone
i think that formating SD card could solve your problem
then, it could be hardware prob
after the sd format i did it stills lags the mp3 songs and when i record with the camera ...probably is a harware isuue i will take it to someone expert...is anything else that i have do exept the update/repair to have my guarantee right so they cannot understand that i rooted the phone etc... ???

sd card mybe? have u format ur sd?..
yes twice and again same problem if i play a song from a sd it lags,changes the song...i think if the problem was not in the sd then the mp3 files from card they had to play fine right?or maybe the phone corupt the files???

Hey all.
Fantastic site!! I love all the dev's hard work
I currently have Lite'ning ROM 1.5 installed and XXKF2 kernal. I have been experiencing kinda stuttering when operating the phone and what not, like I click on home button it seems to stutter and not a smooth animation, it happens every few things I go into, even going into app drawer it sometimes stutters. Is this normal ?? I came from Stock firmware with carrier bloat. If this isnt normal can someone please advise me with some tip or a solution to the issue.

Hi, im having this weird problem, i loose notifications sounds Android sometimes cant play music on Play Music, after a reboot it fixs, but after 15 minuts the problem comes back, someone Knows what can solve this issue? Im on stock ROM btw, thanks.

@RK2116 ... I don't guarantee this will solve your problem but have you tried wiping "cache" and "dalvik cache" ?

Do you have bluetooth enabled? I have an issue that I've seemed to track down to the bluetooth that after connecting and then disconnecting my alert sounds will play very softly. A safe boot will fix it but annoying what I have to reset when I do that.

Yes, I use Bluetooth, but I'm thinking that isn't the problem, a did everything I can, format the SD, format the SD in the PC, format the SD in another phone, factory reset, reboot, disable Play Music, shut down my Bluetooth, everything, and the problem still, sometimes it's fix alone for a limited time, and then came back... Only sound I get is streaming videos and the call Ringtone...

Well, that's what I've narrowed the problem down on my phone to. If I leave bluetooth off, the issue doesn't happen. But I need bluetooth so I leave it on. All I can figure is that there is a bug with the bluetooth software when it interacts with the alert volume when connecting and disconnecting.

A lil bit, but i really dont use it that much, for muy use is doing iy well, but like i said, battery is my main problem, but se need to test the ROMs to find the one, will stay with this one till new year i think.

I'm using trupure rom with stock kernel .. i put ringtones to system/media/ringtones and set permission 644 .. my device is stable and not losing notification sound .. sorry, i'm not good at english
Try BrokenOS... It's MM but rock solid, not on XDA, Google it. Best battery life I had other than stock, if you don't like the default dark theme, change to light theme

Hey, flashed BrokenOS a few minuts ago, but want to change the notification bar/ quick settings image, the green one, and cant find a way to do it, how can i do that? thanks.
