Turned off notifications and that fixed it

Did you update recently? Make sure you wipe your cache/dalvik when doing so. This is the magic bullet for most issues.

My guess would be the server is a bit overloaded I would try again in an hour or 2. Just keep trying every so often

Anybody with problems registering Kindle Fire HD, please call up Amazon. I had similar problems for a Kindle Fire HD I bought from Best Buy and Amazon resolved the issue within minutes.
Is anybody else getting this notification? I've been getting it non stop today. When I try to sign in it continues to tell me that there are errors with the Google servers

Same error on my gnex and N7.
Same problem here on my Nexus 7, but not my HTC Sensation 4g running ICS. Sounds like a Google problem. Found this: http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/09/19/psa-its-not-just-you-google-now-servers-are-currently-down-only-affects-jelly-bean-devices/

I'm getting this message since yesterday on my GNex, Spain.
I don't seem to be getting notifications from apps except a few like Gmail, cloud SMS & play store. I don't get from fb, fb chat, XDA etc. It seems like they don't really run in the background. It especially clear in games that they shut down as I leave them.
Don't have any of these problems on my Galaxy Nexus 4.2.2.
N7 32gb WiFi stock 4.2.2 rooted

Are you enabling notifications within those particular apps? And do you leave games with the home or back button?
Many games will have to do some reloading if you switch away from them.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
They all have notifications activated and I always use the home button. Sometimes I actually do get the notifications but it's like half an hour later then my gnex where it's instantly.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
Is this when the screen is off? If so, do you have WiFi set to never sleep when screen is off?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
Same here, my Nexus 7 almost NEVER gives me Notifications, and if it does its as you say like 30mins/1hour late, so by that time I've already seen what its notifying me of.
Very annoying !!
WiFi is one when screen is off.
Can't reproduce the problem on my gnex, it's just weird...

I keep getting a (as far as I can tell) completely random 'login failure' popup when using my phone, theres no information as to what app has the problem. There are no apps I've noticed I'm signed out of, all work normally. Any ideas?

Long press the notification and select "app info"

Just want to gove this a bump. I have been experiencing this same problem for the past week, and it only happens on my nexus tablet, not my phone. I havent been able to pinpoint the issue.
I get this on occasion when I'm in an area with a weak data signal and the email app checks for emails, but gets a login failure.

Some app is bugging you. Turn on the internet. Post the current running application list if possible.

This shows after a full wipe? Do a wipe if you haven't.
I thought it may be Google backing up your apps but not street a reset.

I have the same message as well, usually shows up after the phone has booted up and have an Internet connection. Yesterday I wiped and reloaded 4.3 from stock and I still get the message. Maybe it is one of the Google apps causing the message or the Android Backup?
I think I might have found the cause of the "Sending..."
This user here has the same issue and he manage to compile an app to detect the toast messages. He traced it to "com.android.stk" which is causing the message to show up.
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10659734/detecting-toast-messages
com.android.stk is the SIM Toolkit app. If you have TB, you can freeze it as you can't disable the system app through the "Apps" page.
