HTC ONE BOOMSOUND Vs NEXUS 10 FRONT SPEAKER'S - One (M7) General

Hey guys i made this video to check how good is the boomsound of htc one compared to tablets, as we all know that it has beaten all the smartphones in the market right now!
So, lets see how it performs with tablets!

Thanks for the video! I really really really love the sound I'm getting from my One and I am VERY picky.
I can say without hesitation that this is my favorite phone owned, to date. I had the iPhone 5, 4S, HTC Evo, G1. All great phones but this wins.

It would be sweet to have cm10.1 loudness on a sense Rom. Quite a difference. 93 decibel claim :/

Curious, why wouldnt you end the video with beats turned on? Its one of the selling points of the phone.

Voodoo app = voodoo controller by supercurio. If it doesn't show up in the market, search for xda, and you should see it.
Fyi... It's kernel specific. Therefore if you are on custom roms, make sure to check if the kernel is supported or not.

Beats

Can i put beats audio in a sense rom for the htc wildfire?
Add Beats To Any Sense Rom
No it is absolutely not possible because Beats is only for Sense 3.0 and the link above this post is only for Sense 3.0 devices.

the headphone sound has really improved in v2.3.6

I noticed in v2.3.6 the headphone sound that come from the device is really higher and more clear from v 2.3.5
any one noticed that too??
I haven't tried it yet...what do you mean? Less cpu noise? Less flat output? That's what bothers me the most...
same o, same o to me, sound still like before
Same to me, but I always use player pro for music playback
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I think no it definitely sounds more lively, as was a bit dead and flat before. Its a definite improvement though I don't have my Beyer dt770s with me to be sure.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Hmmm, this is getting interesting. Anyone else noticed any difference? I'll try the firmware tomorrow and see if there are any differences, if i won't be too busy. Damn I hate working on saturdays
Same kernel or a different one when moving to 2.3.6?
No difference imo in comparison to 2.3.5
Don't think so. Hardware is fundamentally incapable of pushing better quality.

I agree, but there was considerable improvement going from 2.3.4 to 2.3.5. I can hear a drastic difference with my custom in ear monitors. So maybe it could be even better with 2.3.6..

It depends on what you value in your phone. Sensation is definitely worth more, but may not be better for you. If you care a lot about your screen, the nexus s is a lot better because despite its lower resolution, it is an all around better screen. Do you like sense or aosp? Most consider the nexus s stock rom smoother than the sensation stock, but if you are running a custom aosp rom, the sensation is likely better. Sensations gpu is weaker. Sensation has hspa+ I believe, but nexus s doesn't. So its up to you to decide which features you care about most and decide based on that which device you want.

Well the main reason i want the sensation its because the extra core which makes the rom extra smoother and the sd card slot
I do like that it has 4g and as the screen i dont really care as much
so im going for it!
Thanks!
Definitely do it, a buddy of mine has one and its way faster of course.
There was actually a thread a while ago that was talking about going from the sensation to the nexus s, they all said the nexus s runs ics smotther and quicker than their old sensations. Again that was just speculation, maybe they were lying BUT probably not so idk. I say go try out a sensation at the store and see if you'd like it
Thanks for the comments guys
i did end up getting it and i gotta say it feels faster already
i just need to root this baby up!
I had a Sensation.. rooted it..ran Elegancia ICS
It was actually frustratingly slow.
I had it OC'd , beats audio mod and the speaker volume was waaaay too low.
Overall neat phone...but I for sure love my Nexus.
The Sensation did have great qualities too. Build was solid, camera was good

Thats probably why it was slowish
For me the screen of sensation is not good enough. The minimum I would consider an upgrade from nexus S is galaxy nexus and galaxy S2.

2013 Owner :D

Just bought my SGS2 moving from my LG Optimus One.

Welcome, sir! You won't regret with your decision of getting an S2. Just keep your mind open. There are a lot of things that you can read everywhere that might lead you to regretting. But as long as you keep your mind open, you'll be fine.
Enjoy your S2 and enjoy your stay here.

Or the terrible sound quality thanks to the Yamaha audio chip?
http://soundexpert.org/news/-/blogs/audio-quality-of-galaxy-sii
In some countries you cant buy an cheaper but better phone then S2, even with all his flaws.
Maybe an iphone 4,4s second hand.
Galaxy powered by GM and Dorimanx.
a second hand phone was an absolutely NO for me, it just ruins the purpose of getting a NEW phone
As for the issues, i'm stunned by the 5.1quality when i plug in my headphones (Leona Lewis ft Avicii - Collide was the first track i tried)
and that camera issue was a luck based issue just like the yellow tint on Xperia S.
The only worthy contender was the HTC One S, but in India it comes with a S3 processor instead of S4..

I would only consider sound quality terrible if I hear it sound terrible. It doesn't. Out of two options for judging a sound -- reading about it, or hearing it myself -- my choice is obvious. I personally find the S2 sound very good (not awesome, comparing to some other devices, but still very good). Sure, there are other people that don't like it -- I am fine with that, let them get another phone...
Well I bought mine 3 days ago so welcome to me!!!
