The GT-I9500 is not compatible with HD voice. (At least not according to Samsung)

but i have the status:
here the screenshots

That doesn't mean it supports anything, for all we know, the status is always off and/or a leftover from the I9505 menu. I have a DoCoMo sim option in the service menu of my phone, that doesn't mean I am using a Japanese GS4 variant.

Well I manage to make hd voice work on my galaxy note 2 by flashing csc made by someone on the galaxy note 2 forum. I am sure it can be done on GT-i9500 as well.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

The note2 uses another baseband chip though, it is possible that the version on the I9500 isn't compatible while the one in the note 2 is, though it is also possible the baseband is compatible and Samsung simply disabled the feature on the I9500.

I'm still in disbelief I can't get HD Voice on my i9500. On Telstra Australia using MF3

Certains opérateurs conditionne la 4G avec un abonnement
Three possible reasons:
1. Does the ROM have an LTE option under Settings > More networks > Mobile networks > Network mode?
2. Have you got the correct APN settings for your mobile carrier configured on the device?
3. Do you have 4G enabled on your service and are you in a 4G area?
Try dialing
*#*#4636#*#*
Under Phone Information>Set Prefered Network Type> Set To LTE/GSM.
I had an issue when I first got my I9505G that it was reseting to WCDMA.
This fixed my issue with getting the LTE symbol to show up on my phone.

Did you thank me

Need help, please!

Guys, I have bought my N3 from one guy and it's from Poland. The model name is SM N9005. The baseband number is
N9005XXUDMJ4.
But when I type *#1234# i get a different number. It says:
AP: N9005XXUDMJ6
CP: N9005XXUDMJ4 (the same number as baseband)
CSC: N9005TPLDMJ1.
I'm a noob with this, I have no experience, I don't know what to do (how to root - should I search for the AP number or the Baseband number?
Thanks a lot!

It's the AP number. In any case, try this auto root file specifically for 4.3.

No it's not wrong. Baseband can be flashed separately and they don't have to have the same ending as the AP.

I do understand everything about rooting but I'm new with this (I had S3 international and I had no problems rooting). Knox is confusing me, but now I know what to do.

If you want to root, I recommend doing your research to gain some confidence. But as long as you follow instructions (on a working method, of couse) you will be fine.
As for your warranty, if you don't run a custom kernel or recovery it won't void. (Only viable for some methods such as towelroot).

FAQS and GUIDES.are stickied learn the basics .
Baseband is not relevant .
You require firmware not baseband .
So this means I can flash different roms with different baseband?

1. Install this APP.
2. Go to the tab: CSC Code and look for the Active CSC Code.
3. (with computer) Go to Sammobile and look for the 3 letters of your CSC (This will be the original and CORRECT firmware for your device).
4. Download, unzip and flash it via ODIN.
Thanks for the instructions, will try it when I get home
