I have root access to my S4, but I was wondering how or if I could change the touch sounds on the device. I absolutely hate the bubble noises. Also, if this is possible, could anyone point me in the right direction for those kinds of sound files and where to place them in the root folder?
Thanks

Why are you here instead of somewhere else and mind your own business, maybe start your own tread titled the same on you general section.
What do you think about that reason.

Besides your snarky reply this kind of questiondoes belong in the General Section since it has nothing to do with development.
Just trying to help keep things clean and organized...I think the mods would appreciate it...I wasn't being rude. No need for a hostile come back.
WOW is this still here?
Hello,
I am new to the XDA developer forums so forgive me if i have put this in the wrong part of the forum. I have looked around and thought this was the best place to put this.
I was wondering is there any way of deleting bloatware from the Galaxy s3 GT-I9300 besides rooting? i have been through the applications manager, and used the "All in one toolkit" app. But as far as i could see it would only let me delete certain applications. I have looked into rooting but i am still sitting on the fence whether or not i want to do it as i wouldnt like to end up messing it up and not being able to fix it.
All help is much appreciated and again sorry to moderators/admins if i have put this in the wrong section.

This should have been in the Q&A forum.
To answer your question, the bloatwares are system apps and to access system files you will have to root your device. Your call, mate.

Anyone else find a very very small sticker covering their camera? It was still there after completely removing (I thought!) all the little sticker/protective covers on the rest of the phone.
Just found it, having a hell of a time getting it off but it's definitely there!
Yeah, I took it off.
There's a thread about this already.

Sorry, I searched the forums a handful of different ways and didn't find anything about this.
My bad.
Yeah if you look around the bumper there is some there as well. Its to protect from incidentally scratching off surfaces. Older slide phones came with them on the back of the slider as well. Even the charger block came with one I believe lol. But yeah it shouldn't be too hard to take off.

Hello,
Yesterday I restored my Galaxy S4 and this song (Over the Horizon) is gone, too. So I want it back to my phone. After some Googling, I found many .mp3 but it isn't the exact file on Galaxy S4. Anyone using Galaxy S4, could you please send it to me, please? I'd appreciate your help, I really like this song.
Thank you in advances,
Nathan

So I got my S4 the 2nd day it came out. I was lucky enough to get the 32gb. recently I tried sending someone a music file and for the life of me couldn't figure out what i was doing wrong. worked perfectly fine with the s3. so after digging around on the net I found out that samsung has disabled sbeam for everything except pictures/videos.
i am aware that there are apps out there that both parties can install to send other kind of files to each other with tapping feature.
one can also use wifi direct and not have to worry either.
I guess my main question is : Is there a rom out there that enables me to send non picture/video files without having to install a 3rd party app or use wifi direct?

Have you tried looking in the "Development" and "Original Development" sub forums to see what the functions of the ROMs available have? Reading through the threads would provide more information that might not be listed in the OPs. I'm guessing you are not getting replies because this might be a feature that most people really don't care about with custom ROMs so they don't check. Researching the individual ROMs and asking questions (that haven't already been asked) within those threads would probably get you a few more suggestions. Good luck.
