Download Volume control or volume control + app from google play & check whether your vibrations are on or off... check both ringer vibration and notification vibration

So I'm loving this device but there's something recently that has made me curious. I have the Ringtone volume all the way up and when I receive a call the first two seconds of the ringtone are at low to medium volume before jumping up to high. Stock Over the Horizon ringer if that matters. Anyone else having this issue?

Is there a way to lock these volumes together so that when I hit the volume rocker it will adjust both the same?
This is default behavior within Android but I can't seem to find this in LG 's volume settings.
It's pretty annoying to think you turned your volume down only to have the notifications still blaring out.

Should I mention that I am running stock ROM rooted? If I was running vanilla Android, I wouldn't be asking this question.

Is it possible to automatically return to the home screen after a call is ended? Right now my phone goes to the call log. Tks

Do you use stock dialer?
UPD what ROM do you use?
Yes, so I should freeze the stock dialer and use a different dialer app? That seems simple, why didn't I think of that. Duh
