Hi,
My phone needs about 3,5 - 4 hours to charge fully from 0% to 99% and then it hangs for sometimes. I need to reboot it to get 100%. Is it normal charging time or not?

I usually charge from 15-20%, and I also need 2-3 hours up to 100%, so I guess it's pretty normal...

My X2's battery seems charging in eternity. Have it plugged almost half a day and still is charging. I'm always turning my X2 off when I'm going to charge it, so I can see the battery icon when it's full. But this one's crazy, when I turn on my phone and looked at how many percent that it has been charged...it says 100%. But then again when I turned it off (still plugged to a charger)...it's still is charging.

Same issue as mine. I wonder what's causing this?
dont worry
this is the problem that many of us are facing with.
no way to get rid of. phone jast charges till 100%, and illumination stops , but the status remains charging. but really its stopped. the charger and battery both get cool.
Had anyone of you did try to send it to SE service center to address this issue?
Many times when I charge the phone the % indicater will just stay at whatever it was when I plugged in the charger. If unplugg the charger for a few seconds and reconnect it again the % indicater will update.
It's just one of those bugs.....
l have contact SE about a month ago..still no reply

It's better to leave the phone on when charging, that way the OS itself can control power management.
Really though, don't worry about it... as it has been said... it's just one of those things

Thank you for that info. But, how long does your battery lasts? Mine wouldn't even last 24 hours.

This is a question that is very difficult to answer as it depends on which applications you are running and how you use your phone.
Earlier this week I experienced that the battery dropped from 100% in the morning to less than 20% around 5 PM after having used the phone quite frequently throughout the day.
Yesterday I used the phone very little and from 100% battery yesterday morning I'm now down to 59% after 26 hours of use.
If you want your battery to last make sure you:
- turn off the screen when you do not use the phone
- turn off WiFi and Bluetooth
- don't use the radio
- turn of GPS
Maby someone else have more tips on how to get the battery to last.
here issue is not standby of battery-it is simple charging time and unacceptability of x2 to stop charging procedure. it just go on and on with charging(it does not display when it the battery is full it display that it is still charging-even if the phone is on charger more then 10h!!)

Sometimes I can use it all day and still have somewhere around 40% to 60% left at the end of the day. If I don't use it that much, it will maybe drop 10% per day. I have gone 3 days once without needing to swap my battery.
I have a standalone charger and 3 batteries. So I swap out the batteries from there every time it is low. It could be possible that the standalone charger does a better job of charging to full capacity.
EDIT: I also leave my 3G on always!
My battery lasts 3 days, about 30min of talk every day,5-10sms,20-30min of wifi,3g is off,gps not using yet...so that is about that.

I have encountered a problem that my phone cannot be charged to fully 100%. I turn off the phone and charged until full (the batter bar is not moving anymore) around 2.5 hours. Then, i unplug my phone and turn it on. I found out that only 98% of the battery at the glance...So what is the problem?
Need help seriously. Thanks
Maybe reset battery stats in recovery..

Unless your using a kernel with BLX it won't charge over that, no phone in reality charges above 96%

Mine charges to 99% most of the time then I unplug the cable, plug it back in and it goes to 100%.
Sometimes I unplug it at 99% and it then goes to 100% battery, totally stock rom none rooted.
Mine only just started to charge to 99% this morning. Have been getting 'Charged' usually. Hopefully it's not a sign of the battery slowly dying.

My phone took around 2hrs to complete charge. If your phone took about the same time then it could just be a software glitch. Try factory reset or reflash firmware.
If it took obvious longer time let say 3hrs or more then it could be a hardware problem.
I reflashed the official rom poland one 4.4.2 but still has the same issue
Charging li-on battery gets slower towards the end of the charging cycle. That's normal. The only thing you should be worried about is how long battery lasts in use. If you have bad battery it charges up faster, not slower then also runs out of juice fast.
Charge with original charger and cable to make sure problem is not there.
I always leave my note charging over night so I don't know how long it should take to reach 100%

Normal for my phone
Hello there I got a new battery.
What should I do with it?
Should I completely charge it and discharge it for a few times?
Or what??
Really need some advice.
Thanks in advance.
Just use it. No special treatment is required.
Or maybe a simple Google search...

Lithium Ion batteries don't build up a memory. You don't need to cycle it.
In fact, running it through several drain cycles will degrade the battery life in the long run, not improve it. They only last around 300 cycles.
So can I use it until around 20% and charge it back to 100?
or charging to 100 is not good for the battery?
(I will unplug it once it turn green)

It is recommended to fully charge it overnight for the first 3 times.
After that, overcharge and discharge below 10% is not recommended.

Ideally, it will last longest (in total charges, not single charge) if you keep it between 90 and 30.
However, charging to 100% isn't really a problem, so long as you don't leave it connected to the charger after it's hit 100% for extended periods of time. Draining it fully is bad, however. In reality 20-100 is most do-able whilst keeping the battery healthy the longest.
The manual advises to charge it for I think it was 12 hours on the first use, though I've never found there to be an advantage to that, as it charges from 0 to 100 in 90 minutes. So 2-3 hours should be sufficient as well.
First off dash charging ,I charged to 100% before use ,used it until 63% ,then was going out so took my old phone and put the 6t on charge it took nearly an hour to get to 100%

Ever noticed that dash charge charging times are given like : 60% in 35 minutes and not 100% in x minutes? Why? To prevent damage to battery. It's around 45-50 minutes from 60% to 100% cause it steps down the amperage.
