In my s4 the clipboard isn't like it was in the s3. It just remembers the last text copied, it doesn't allow you to see a list of previously copied items and it doesn't let you copy paste images.
In the s3 android 4.1.2 I could do all those things.
What gives?
I don't know what you're doing, but works fine for me...

Same here, in fact, I didnt know you could do this until I saw this post, I knew it was on my previous Note II but didnt realise it was on the S3 or 4.
Anyway, I just hold down my finger, say in a text message box and get the pop-up of 'paste' and 'clipboard'. Great :laugh:
ya this is how i worked on my gs3
however now i am only getting the option to PASTE with no popup selection and it only pastes the last text copied
******* solved
I was using Dolphin browser and Qpick gallery, apparently the clipboard does not work in those apps wierd. works just fine in stock browser and gallery

Yeah a lot of the fancy stuff dont work in anything but stock but thats probably more the coding of the app than samsungs issue.
Its little 'add ons' like this that make the Galaxy range that little bit better than other 'droids IMO.

This isn't anything revolutionary or remotely useful. But,... I haven't seen anything like it and I figured I'd share it. You never know when you might want to use it. I made it in flash and you type in your text, up to 15 characters then hit the button and there ya go. Scrolling. Large. Just copy the .exe to your device/card and run. It works good on Omap devices but better on 400mhz+ devices. I currently don't have a SmartPhone so if anyone could try it on smartphone and let me know if it works that would be great. I'm not sure if you can get into the text box without tapping it.

Not sure exactly what this is supposed to do? You're scrolling to search and find text you've just typed in or what? Can you attach some screenshots please?

You type in text then hit the button and that text will scroll across the whole screen infinitely. Borderline postworthy but I thought it might have it's uses and as I said I've never seen anything do that before. You don't see the screenshots?
You will not believe this, but I was just thinking about a software like this this morning. Back in my old Palm OS days, I had a marquee-style scrolling app that I would use to display a message from across the room. I was just wondering this morning if anyone had made such a thing for pocket pcs. Thanks. With text messaging, I may not have as much use for it now, but I will find a way to use it.
It works as promised, dunno what exactly I'll do with it, but I like it.
A few requests;
1) More characters
2) Landscape mode (wider viewing area)
3) Colors?
Thanks for the app
I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before, but, I absolutely HATE how the stupid samsung calendar is the default cal when making new events! I SWEAR THEY ARE STILL STUCK IN FEATURE PHONE WORLD! ahem, sorry for the outburst. Any way, is three a way to change that?
i'd like to know too.

X2 ^^ ... one feature that I missed the most that was on my G1 is the hyperlink of URL, address & phone number.
Especially the hyperlink for address, I drive around town alot for work, and plan my destinations on Calendar the night before. Not having the hyperlink to address has been a PITA.
s0niqu3 was able to push the stock 2.1 apps on to the Vibrant. Check out his post below. I haven't tried it out myself though.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=731822&highlight=calendar
Yeah nothing is more frustrating than putting in the address and when you want to navigate to it, it well doesn't work.
More specifically:
Replace touch wiz calendar with google default

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
That bar on top pisses me off, but I would rather have a tiny annoyance than using the TouchWiz calendar.
Follow the directions though, you have to remove the TouchWiz Calendar and TouchWiz Calendar Provider FIRST with a root file explorer or ADB (which I never got working), and then uninstall the residuals from Settings>Applications. THEN push/move the two apk's in the linked thread to system/app, then reboot.
You will lose access to a few TouchWiz widgets, and the home dock app won't work.
Does the nexus not have a hidden menu for the browser?
What I'm referring to is from my original transformer where you can enable a secret navigation pop up by sliding your thumb from the edge of the screen and buttons pop up
It was a shortcut to bookmarks, back button, refresh, etc
That feature isn't in chrome. Its in the default ics browser, but I don't think the n7 ships with that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong; I haven't actually received mine yet.

That's correct, it's an ICS Browser feature...I don't have it on JB with the Chrome browser.
It is a chrome feature on my gsii, hit the physical menu button. Isn't there supposed to be the three dots to bring that up in the top right corner on a tablet?

He's talking about this, and, no, I don't think it's in chrome:
Nope it's not & the stock ICS browser won't install on the N7 even after signing it,I'll work on it sometime this weekend to see if I can get it to work.

There is no way to get it to display just the name of the person messaging you without also previewing the message is there?
I'm not sure why this is, but recently I noticed all internet pics showing up pixelated. No matter what ROM or browser I use, they're all showing up like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And when I click on a pic, it gets a little better, but as you can see by the wall, still pixelated:
They just started showing up like this yesterday. Like I said, I've tried several different ROMs and kernels, but all browser pics show up like this. It's like a weird compatibility issue. Anybody else notice this?
Currently on Sacs 4.3 with MF9 firmware and latest KT kernel.
