Lockscreen Music Overlay - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
Attached is a picture of the lockscreen music controls widget that appears when audio is playing.
As great as it is to be able to see and change songs from the lockscreen, there's the terrible, semi-transparent black overlay.

}
Now, I know this isn't device/rom specific (Same issue on my Note, Note 2 and Note 10.1 across both TW and AOSP/CM), but I'm looking for a way to modify the overlay, to make it completely transparent.
It seems pointless to even have the album art displayed if it's barely visible.
Any help would be excellent.
Thanks.

Well none of my installed widgets (non stock) had that overlay in fact my problem was that the widget (DashClock widget) background was completely transparent. Probably the developers need to implement/tweak options to modify widget look.

[REQ] Sense 3 lockscreen Clock as Widget

Hi,
Is there any kind folks willing to publish an apps that has the same layout of the digital clock on the Sense 3 lockscreen?
Personally want to get rid of the signature HTC clock and like this very much, clean and simple. Will be great if it fits at the same place as the lockscreen so we can have the effect like the lock ring just change into the Rosie dock.
Really thanks it in advance as find it to be a very nice clock even for AOSP purpose.

I am now working for a minimalistic text alternative to it, but couldn't get the right font and size via trials and errors.
Estimated size for the carrier and date is 15 and 50 for the digits for clock.
Font is believed to be HelveticeNeue thin (there are 2 in the system/fonts).
Anyone with the ability to hunt it down?

Lockscreen 'Fog'

So I've noticed on dark wallpapers I can see 'fog' so I set a black wallpaper for the lockscreen. The 'fog' came up clearer. After doing some research (googling) I found the fog to be a result of the ripple effect. Once the ripple effect is off the fog disappears with it. This isn't an issue related to my S3 only, I asked a friend to try it on their S3 and the exact same thing appeared. Anyway heres a picture of it.

Known issue is known
I haven't rooted by S3 yet so couldn't find out but is this issue present in custom roms? I mean it must have an easy fix?
It's emulating water effects on lockscreen inspired by nature and that's whay you see as you say foggy black colors its present on all stock based roms unless you use third party lockscreen app.
Just untick ripple in lockscreen settings.

Is there any launcher which supports Icon Shadow?

Hi, I have been a Nova Prime user for very long now, but as I change wallpapers almost every other day and I have a huge collection of white background wallpapers it's really hard and sometimes impossible to notice the icon labels. Because the icon labellings are white and the background of the set wallpaper is white too. So I am looking for a launcher which would support icon shadow, or icon label shadow, you know what I mean, something which will go in contrast of my set wallpaper.
Is there any launcher like that? I don't really want a bloated launcher as Go or else, like Nova or Apex would be great.
Thanks in advance.
PS:
In case I have not made myself clear here is an image of the problem I am talking about. Notice the icon labels.

This is a question best addressed to Samsung as it is them who developed Touchwiz, not the Cyanogenmod team.
As above, no point posting this on xda...we had nothing to do with the design or implementation of any os or ui

Touchwiz Camera UI modification possible?

A question for the Dev Wizards here.
I really like the Touchwiz Camera but i really hate the capacitive Buttons of my S5 and use Softkeys instead.
The Problem is that some Touchwiz Apps dont work well with Softkeys and the get somewhat cropped.
In my case i only need the Touchwiz Camera App.
Is there any chance to modify the app that those UI Elements on the right side are moved a little to the left?
Please take a look:

I'd suffer with hard keys for the camera - use whichever app you're using to show softkeys, to blacklist the camera app so it doesn't show softkeys when launched.
I tried it with GMD Immersive App, better but not perfect
