[IDEA][DEVS NEEDED][Probably BOUNTY] Tumblr for Windows Mobile - First sketch!!!

The blogging-service Tumblr is really great but it would be even better if we had a mobile application (like the iPhone guys do).
I´m no developer myself but I hope someone could help. Of course I´m prepared to donate and I think others are as well.

Here is the API documentation, seams like normal HTTP requests and some XML.

Posted a first sketch of how the UI could look like. Basically I think a mobile app of a service that already exists should always resemble the look. I´m not sure how far my sketch is doable in reality (I´d say that depends on the dev ^^) but basic things like the logo or the colors are realistic.

Its pretty much scaled to the right small factor, and runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac. Maybe a dev could port/modify it to PPC?

I don't use tumblr but any thoughts on using a java version? Here are two:

EDIT: Ok, I did a bit of binging and found a Windows-client based on .NET; maybe this Open-Source app could provide the basis for a mobile .NET app!

the bounty is too low
to be honest, no dev in the right mind will go for a mere 50 dollar bounty which asks for a full function. i'm writing one right now and to include the full dashboard experience with only a 10 dollar and 20 uero promise is crazy.i have better luck posting it in market place when its done later, even with cut down funtionality and sell it at 2.99.
update,
just studied the source for wintumblr and for the moment, i think an app for posting is totally achievable, but for an app with dashboard... might take longer.
now i have a working text and photo posting function. its enough for me. will post screenies from the device emulator later.

I tried both of the java ones on my HD2 and when it asks if I want to install, it attempts to then says the file is corrupt. :/

Note: Despite it being optimized for the Xperia Play, curiously appears as unsupported. However, you can easily find the application in parallel markets.

If it doesn't show up as listed, try changing all instances of "R800i" to "R800a" in your build.prop.
When I first flashed NXT, it changed my system to be read as a R800i, and a good chunk of things I install simply did not show up. On R800a, about the only confirmed-optimized game that won't show up right is Sonic 4 (only Episode 1, Episode 2 shows up).

I think Onlive is so underrated in these forums as its really the best thing that ever happened to Xperia Play. It's exactly the root that Nvidia are taking with their Project Shield and Nvidia Grid service but is more portable and has been around for over a year.
I have been an avid fan from day 1 and it's what I play on my Xperia 80% of the time (90% the way through Assissins Creed 2 at the mo). Love the fact I can play when I am out on my phone and then pick it straight up on my PC when home (not to mention I don't have GB's worth of game data stored locally). The only bad side is the lack of L3,R3 and the amount of games released but still enough to be getting on with.
People always whinge about lag with new Android games but if you have good net and use this, you can play new top end PC standard games without the single core of the Xperia Play ticking over barely.
At the end of the day when all development has stopped for Xperia Play, Onlive will be turning out more and more titles (as long as the service is running) that are all (mostly) optimized for are gamepad and will keep this awesome smart phone future proof.

This app works great, some games REQUIRE some sort of controller, but they all run great. Internet is required and it won't work over 3g. All the games are paid but most offer a 30 minute trial. It's free to sign up though. I tried dirt3 and wings of prey, both ran flawless and looked just like pc version. Good app overall.

Super Zombie Pro Run PostMortem , some marketing tips for new developers to android

Super Zombie Pro Run was a game that was really a game/ app. Yes Super Zombie Run Pro had a basic highscore run game but its strength was not the game but a short stories section and free streaming movie's section. After being downloaded 86 times , the focus was clear when Bulgaria got 60% of the downloads.
That lead to a clear picture of where to target marketing efforts visiting Bulgarian facebook groups and tweeting making sure the include the countries hashtag #Bulgaria #BulgariaGames .After focusing marketing efforts toward Bulgaria Super Zombie Pro Run reached the highest point it would ever reach in its peak Top 100 in the 78th rank of the action chart in which it made $26 in AD revenue the 4 days it stayed on the top 100. While it was short lived the experience definitely helps pave the way towards better marketing in the future.
In hindsight more effort should have been put toward the game itself rather than thinking the full package would be enough. If it hadn't been rushed Super Zombie Pro Run would have done much better. Thanks to Aye T and Notifymob for helping along the way.

Ok at 1st I targeted worldwide and when most of my downloads came from Bulgaria , then I focus all my marketing resources towards Bulgaria. I rather have had an english speaking country because thats my language but I went with the country that downloaded my app the most. One big error I made was not localizing the description when I was ranking high, I forgot all about it till it was too late.

Anyone using WINK app on WEAR?

Its very cool..you get WINK notifications and can set up shortcuts aka 'tasks' that you can control from your WEAR device.
However mine seems to 'lose' the WINK shortcuts every time i restart my phone or exit the WINK app on my phone. I'm hoping this is just a software issue that is being worked on.

Our app includes the ability to adjust lighting, thermostats, activate and deactivate scenes, and check sensor status. And best of all, everything is automatic, you don't need to manually create anything like shortcuts. Just install CastleOS from the Play store and you're good to go! CastleOS works with INSTEON, Z-Wave, UPB, X10, WeMo, Nest, Sonos, Ecobee, LightwaveRF, and more!

- schlage z wave deadbolt

Oh the irony. We support dozens upon dozens (maybe hundreds) of more devices than Wink does, yet none of your devices are currently supported You'll have to wait for the December/January releases for those. We currently support the Z-Wave Honeywell thermostats, but not the WiFi ones yet (we had been waiting for the official API). GE Link is still new and we are in the process of building the interface for that, though we currently support INSTEON and Z-Wave bulbs, WeMo bulbs if they ever launch them, and Philips Hue color changing bulbs. Sorry about that, it will be worth the wait I promise!

I'll save everyone the trouble of downloading their useless app. Not only do they lack the support stated above, but they also want $199 for the "OS" and $499 for their oversized hub... ha
