You could always root by flashing a custom kernel instead of the root only methods. Those are the ones that won't work now. And the latest Russian firmware shares the same build number with 20 other firmwares of different countries. You can see that here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2257645 So it doesn't matter if the firmware is of Russia or some other country. They'll share the same problems.

Download Odin 3.07 from here. Install Kies on your computer so you can get the necessary drivers to recognize your phone in download mode.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2264454
This is the kernel I use and I would recommend it but you can choose any other. They all work great. One you download the kernel and install kies, run Odin. On the right there will be options to add files. Click the button that says PDA and you'll be able to navigate to a file. Find the kernel you downloaded. (Should be in .tar file extension. If it is a .zip then unzip it.) Then just click start and watch the magic.
Oh yeah and you'll have to connect your phone in download mode for that. To do that just turn the phone off and hold the power button + volume down + home button.

RESTORE YOUR TABLET TO STOCK, APPLY ROOT, THEN FLASH A NEW RECOVERY.
This tutorial applies to both P3110 and P3113. They are the exact same models.

Odin ( Take any version you wish. The latest ones should do the trick )
The stock Firmware file. Concerning this part, Google is your friend.
The official Samsung USB Cable that came with your tablet. It is recommended (but optional) to connect your tablet into your computer's built-in USB ports.
The latest Odin-flashable recovery. ( P3113 uses P3110 files )
CF-Auto-Root

3. Reboot into Download Mode. Usually found on the Advanced Options of most CWM-based recoveries.

Hi, I have PA installed with TWRP installed. I downloaded my firmware from http://samsung-updates.com/. Do I need to flash the stock kernel as well? and stock recovery? Sorry for the noob question.
Maybe I'm just missing it, but I've gone to a couple of firmware sites and I can't find US firmware. Is there anywhere I can get that?

I have a similar situation. A previous rooting operation on my Tab2 7 P3113TS was either bad or partial and it appears it will not go into the download mode. power-pgup, power-pgdn, or just power all go to the Samsung splash screen then to a blue VeinDroid rom screen but no further. I tried 3 different version of ODIN and all recognize the device (port goes yellow) but cannot communicate. It stops at the SetupConnection step. Is this thing toast or is there something I'm missing?

If a message is shown, press Volume Up. If you can't enter downloadmode normally, try doing "adb reboot download" in ADB. If you still can't, connect your phone to your computer, REMOVE THE BATTERY, hold Volume Up/Down + Power until DownloadMode is entered and put the battery in again. If your phone doesn't boot or/and battery trick doesn't work, use an USB Jig. If theres no usb jig, while until the battery icon is shown ( charging ) then do "adb reboot download" in ADB.

You are right I did it the same way and it worked for me too. I actually was thinking the phone was quite dead bur or wasn't, I just flashed the recovery firmware 4.4.4 Russian and if you ask me food the step by step procedure it was just like this:
1. I started the Odin 3.07 and connected my device to see is it was detected or not, my surprise the Odin catch it, and shown added and the port number was 18.
2. I just pulled out the USB cable from my laptop and loaded the BL file only to just flash the bootloader file and see what would happen, I was trying it bcz I was totally disappointed with the device i.e. Grand Prime 530H Duos. I also noticed that my device was not stable even with that black screen it used to restart after almost five minutes in that case. And I knew that in 5 minute I will just be able to flash BL file. The BL file was loaded on the Odin now and I inserted the USB cable again while keeping the vol down button pressed to my laptop when the Odin again found and connected with my device, I didnot take any more time to flash BL file.
3. As soon as i had not flashed all the SW therefore, my device didn't boot properly, and I thought it didn't work but when my device was connected to the computer I just listened the startup tone of the Android 4.4.4. From that moment I knew my device was not dead now so i had to select all four files from the recovery firmware of 4.4.4 and connect the device to odin even there was no sign of download mode, as soon i clicked the Start button i saw many things in the Odin which were good enough to see. after the firmware flashed the device got started.

You are right I did it the same way and it worked for me too. I actually was thinking the phone was quite dead but it wasn't, I just flashed the recovery firmware 4.4.4 Russian and if you ask me for the step by step procedure it was someting like this:
1. I started the Odin 3.07 and connected my device to see if it was detected or not, to my surprise, Odin catch it, and shown added and the port number was 18.
The BL file was loaded on the Odin now and I inserted the USB cable again while keeping the vol down + home key pressed, to my laptop when the Odin again found and connected with my device, I didnot take any more time to flash BL file.
3. As soon as i had not flashed all the SW therefore, my device didn't boot properly, and I thought it didn't work but when my device was connected to the computer I just listened the startup tone of the Android 4.4.4. or the device. From that moment I knew my device was not dead now so i pullup the battery, put it again inside to check its status, did this almost thrice, but still the same black screen, yet i heard the startup sound everytime. Now as far as knew the phone is on but showing nothing, I had to select all four files from the recovery firmware of 4.4.4 and connect the device to odin even there was no sign of download mode, as soon i clicked the Start button i saw many things in the Odin bar which were good enough to see. after the firmware flashed the device got started.

Hello guys! Could you please help me with the same issue? The difference is that Odin doesn't recognize when I plug in my phone! I don't know what else to do. It's a G530H.
Thank you very much!

Is your USB cable original is it working on other devices? And are you using a USB 2.0 port, that is very much necessary, for Odin and some other hardware/software environment applications. And you also must have Samsung USB drivers installed in your PC, you can also try all this process on some other PCs

Hello!
Yes, that USB works with other phones. And even not being the original one, it was working to transfer files before this issue...
It is a USB 2.0 port, and even when I go to "Device Manage" on Windows, it doesn't show any port with an unknown device or something like that...
Thanks!
hi, i got a problem with my phone after flashing twrp.
here's how it happened:
1. i flash odin twrp for my grand prime duos and it showed success, after try rebooting into the twrp.. it shows dead android (means that twrp is not installed)
2. I rooted my phone using kingroot in order to gain root access to use twrp manager to install twrp using the apps. kingroot showed message to disable knox and i approved it.
3. i used the twrp manager to install for my device, busybox not installed in this moment. after I chose the correct model (prime duos), it went into downloading the twrp.. after downloaded the twrp, the app installed the twrp but i got message telling that another twrp version is already installed, it asked me to go into the recovery and i click yes.
4. the problem happened, please watch the video that i attached.
is there any solution? does anyone ever faced this problem?
- tried to connect to pc but it gives no respond to my pc
- cannot go into download mode
- tried to push power button + volume down, still nothing.

I would try reinstall of drivers using samsung kies then see if it will connect to pc. But if you can't even get into Odin mode on the phone I hate to say you now have a very expensive paper weight.

TWRP 2.8.7.0 is only for stock Lollipop, you can install but it won't work on Kitkat. And if your PC is win 7 or higher, you just plug in and wait about 20 minutes, and your PC will auto download and install usb drivers.
I have tested on my PC.
