[Q] Is usb FastCharge working? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, I'm using Franco.Kernel with CM10.1 and I enabled USB fast charge but it's not working. It still connects as MTP and charges just as slow. Is this my device's problem or it's just not working? I've tried CM10.1 and PA. Not working.

Anyone?
EDIT : Got it working. Had to tytpe this into the Terminal Emulator
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge

i've also tried with PDAnet app but it not worked too... may be my firewall ?
USB Tethering works just fine in my Nexus 4.
I tested it under Ubuntu. I don't know if with other operating systems works too.
The stock option works fine for me. Am I right that you would need to check "USB debugging" in the developer options for it to work though?

[Q] Enable Nexus Q adb remote debug

I have just installed CM10.1 on a Nexus Q for the first time and am having problems trying to connect via adb.
I have enabled developer mode and ticked "Android debugging" and unchecked "USB debugging notify", but I hit a problem trying to connect via adb. When plugged in the Nexus Q shows a confirmation alert on the screen which needs to be accepted to allow adb to connect, is there anyway to accept it without using a usb multi port? If I unplug from my machine to put in a USB mouse the alert disappears.
Cheers
Paul
Update: not an issue now. I installed the files I pulled the files using scp and terminal emulator with su from the Q

[Q] USB Host driver NOT found

Hey Folks,
I'm currently on OMNI Rom (Nightly) version 20140326 on my Int Galaxy S2, having this issue of USB Host driver missing.
I don't get a popup when I connect to any USB devices. I'm able to connect to USB flash drive, but unable to connect to my DSLR camera.
I dont have this issue on my Galaxy S i9000 phone which is flashed with 20140314 nightly. When I try to go to Settings>Storage>USB Computer connection, to change the settings, it doesn't allow me to go in
Previously I was on CM10 & had the same issue. I'm attaching the screenshot from the app, 'USB Host Controller' & from Phone status.
I checked with 'DSLR dashboard' app developer & this rom works fine for him. Appreciate your help to have this resolved.

USB OTG Problems

Hey,
I try to connect my USB storage but I fail every time.
I tried it with CyanogenMod 11 and this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/orig-development/usb-otg-externally-powered-usb-otg-t2181820
Then I installed the PAC Rom and the kernel above and it also doesn't work.
When I go to Settings > Storage I get the Dialog "Settings was terminated" (or something equal, I have the german language enabled).
So I don't know what I make wrong. even when I'm wipe my phone and install a new rom and then install the kernel, it doesn't work...
Hope you can help

Do you have a powered OTG cable? Nexus 4 doesn't support stock OTG cable.
What kernel are you running, stock doesn't work.
I use Franco of ziddey (cm version) .
And I have a powered otg cable.
Could be the cable and/or y-connector is not working. Can you get any USB connection to work?

ROM with built-in OTG

Hello,
I need a ROM with built-in OTG because my Nexus's screen is dead and I want to use a mouse with my powered usb otg hub to install debian and set a little home server.
I tried Chroma and Nitrogen without success.
Thank you!
That feature is mainly kernel related. So you gonna find a kernel with usb otg
I tried pure nexus with hellspawn N4 which has built in otg but no otg out of the box, I can't use the touch so I can't try app or settings :/
Also I have a bluetooth mouse if it easier to set it via adb but I don't know how..
Not sure how to set it via adb in hellspawn, but in Quanta, it can be set by issuing the following command...
Code:
echo "1" > /sys/module/msm_otg/parameters/otg_hack_enable
Can you tell me a good rom with ? Because pure nexus is 6.0.1 and Quanta is for 5.1 :/
PS: I tried the command but nothing
Ok so thanks to this usefull programm http://marian.schedenig.name/2014/07/03/remote-control-your-android-phone-through-adb/ I can pair my bluetooth mouse and use my phone !
Actually it is pretty simple it takes screenshot of the phone and use adb click to send touch input.
Quanta is also for marshmallow
