Just ordered my Oppo and was hoping there was a seller in the US that sold some accessories as I need a case sooner than a couple weeks.
i havent been able to find any.. amazon doesnt seem to have any cases
only has found them on Ebay at $8 with a screen protector.. but took 3 weeks to come in
in for more options!!!
Looks like I will just have to order off eBay, but I was really needing something by next week. Doesn't look like I have any other options though.
i waited for my case. used it for two days and havent put it back on my phone. i just put on the screen protector and called it a day
im usually pretty good with my phones *knock of wood*
but if someone can chime in with more cases. that would be awesome!

hello all! I'm new to the site, so I thought seen as this is my first thread I would say hello etc.. *waves*.. I got my XDA mini s last week and with some help from this place have it working nicely (on the stock rom might I add, as it appears to be the latest from O2..).
However, I noticed that after leaving it under my PC moniter it had effected the colouring of the screen (as a magnet would), it took me about 5mins to realise that the case that comes with the XDA from O2 has two magnets in it to hold the flap down when the case is closed. The only thing I am not sure off is how this will effect my XDA? I was never one to trust companies to think before they act so producing a case that would damage the product it is designed for does not stretch my belief, but I'm honestly unsure of how it would effect things... Thoughts on the subject?
On a slightly related note (and something I asked in another thread, but figured I would put it here also due to it being related)..
What kind of screen protector do people recommend? What about a link to a decent case too? Do you guys keep your wizards in a case or just keep it hanging around in your pockets? Worried about damaging the thing but getting it out of the case to answer a call is a tad annoying..

I went with the PDAir book type leather case (review: http://www.onppc.com/forum/article_read.asp?id=12) which are on sale on ebay for £14.49 with free shipping.. it is however coming from hongkong which could mean a fake :\.. we shall see ! To buy them new from PDAir.com is around the same price but you have to pay for shipping, which I thought would probably fairly high, so I decided to chance it with ebay..
The review plus some feedback of another forum member in another thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=29227) sold the case for me.. Ill post a review when i get it in a week or so.
For me the issue with the case I had (the O2 default case) was the hugely powerful magnets in it and the fact that it was a slip out (and one that was not easy to slip the phone out off) which would take me 5mins to get the damn thing out to answer a call..
I also have a PDAir case (flip style rather than book), which I bought direct from PDAir. Shipping from Hong Kong was quite fast; IIRC, it took only 3 days to get to the US. Total cost including shipping was $28.

If you find yours, see if mine is with it. I swear I took it out of the box, put the Nexus in one once, took it back out, and put it in the box.
Except it's not in there anymore..
these things needed to be bright android green imo, lost mine several times now.
Have you tried calling HTC customer support? They have been known to give pouches for the N1

I went to buy a car dock and it looks like they are back ordered.
When I lost my original case and couldn't find it anywhere in the house, I got one from Hong Kong off eBay. It was only £2.50 including postage, and when it arrived it was clear that it was a second (stitching a bit off) but it did the job.
Then last week when visiting the mother-in-law she looked at my phone and said, "ooh I've got one of those upstairs". Turned out I had left it there and never realised.
I ordered mine off ebay from hong kong as well... found mine in my car the day it arrived (a week later)
$60 for the desktop dock now? They must be off their damn rockers!!
It's worth maybe half that to me. How do they expect to sell those things for double what people are willing to pay for it?! Completely insane. Thanks Google and HTC for the royal screwing on accessories.

Got my on Friday, I could not find a case I liked so I started shopping around.
Today at lunch, the phone took a 30" drop from a table, the display is going bad.
Any "constructive" ideas that might help me out?

If there's no noticeable physical damage int he corner you could probably send it in as a defect. And why on earth you not put at least a case on the damn thing, regardless of looks. I almost want to tell you that you deserve it.

Try returning it to wherever you got it from and hope they accept it
Otherwise you can pay Samsung to fix it for you or order parts an DIY
Do you have insurance? If so then they may give you one with a deductible fee
I am very disappointed by the s3 build quality, why couldn't they design a durable phone like s2

Poor guy. Well, the obvious is that this is a case of cracked LCD. However, my next question would be where did you buy it? If you opted in for Best Buy's Black Tie, you could get that repaired/replaced at no charge (with the exception of your monthly payment you pay). If not, Asurion will charge $125 deductible.. or the service centers are $99 last time I looked (I've been out of the repair game a few months).
If the crack isn't evident (because it is har dot tell in the image) where you can see the crack of the LCD (not the glass of the digitizer, as that appears to be fine) but the spider web effect of the LCD... the store might unknowingly exchange it. Personally, I'd be honest with them. I had a defective EvoLTE that I was waiting to swap when three days before S3 release I dropped it and cracked the corner of the digitizer. Best Buy was kind enough to exchange me anyway, simply because I spoke up and said what happened.

Actually most places will still let you add on the insurance since its still under the 30 day window. Just wait it out a few days and then see about getting it fixed.

I would've cried too, I almost had a drop today at work and my life flashed before my eyes. I don't have a case on mine, the beauty of it is too nice to cover. I will give you all permission to say I told you so if/when I drop my phone.

Thanks to all these I dropped my S3 threads that are starting to popup I got a 30% off coupon at square trade and bought a ADH warranty.
The problem is that the att stores do not have them and you will have to ship it off I believe. In any event, a hassle. For those of you that get your phone go to ATT or wherever and slap a case on it You have 30 days on the case also. So what if it is not your ultimate case. Protect the phone! It is slippery!
I have mine in a TPU case (8 bucks) and a neoprene sleeve I've had for a while.

diztronic.com sells a semi-transparent grippy matte case for $10. Brand is highly regarded.
I get mine sometime this week, but I don't have a phone yet. I'll post pics.

So, I am just upgrading to newer version. I accidentally put 300 instead of 320 on craigslist, because I never pressed publish. Someone emailed me and offered 270, is that too low? I kept really good care, no problems and had screen protector and case always around the tablet. When I carried my Note around, always put my Note in a tablet sleeve with the case still around it. No scratches or anything, some of the original plastic protector is still on it. Had this tablet for 9 1/2 months I think (still under warranty). Also, it will come with the Black Book Case by Samsung. Thanks. Is the offer way too low?
I replied back saying it comes w/ the case and I am only selling 300. I also want to wait for my tablet to come to see if there are any problems. Thanks!
Kinda a personal preference thing. Do YOU feel good about letting it go for 270? As far as market value goes, that's about right. Between 250 and 300. Good luck!

There is a 32gb Deep Gray, GT-N8013EAVXAR with 360 swivel case on ebay right now..... It has 11 active bids on it and the current bid is $265 plus $15 shipping and there is 2 day of bidding left.
So if it sells on ebay for $300 you will only get about $275 after fees.
You could counter offer them 10 or 15 more buck and see were it goes........

So after almost 1 month with the device, ive found that the battery doesnt quite meet my needs. I find i need to juice up several times a day.
I did come from a note 3 with a zero lemon battery, so i could never kill it.
I could return the phone until the 9th, but i know there are many of you who are still waiting for the phone to get shipped.
Im will to sell the phone, in perfect condition, with the unicorn beetle case, and tempered glass protector for $750 shipped in the US.
I would just return it, but want to give someone a chance to own this while they are "patiently" waiting for stock to arrive from google or motorola.
Just PM me if interested.
Otherwise, it goes back to google on the 8th.
