Not sure anyone asked already (tried serching but found nothing for S4) but is there any way to disable increasing ringtone?
Do Samsung believe we are deaf?

Hello,
does any one know an application that can enable videos to be set as ringtones for incoming calls? So far I have found 'Vringo' as a solution but using it didn't allow you to add different videos to different people from the contacts. It allows you to choose only one video.
Thank you in advance.
there should be mivtones (www.mivtones.com) . Never tried it though
Thank you for the tip. i installed it, however the programm is not working properly on my HTC Desire. When i enable it the phone is ringging with the standart ring tone and once i decline the call the video starts playing. I had some issues with the vringo application as well, but it's working fine as long as you don't turn the vibration on.
i had this app on my iphone and its great it will probably be a few updates to work out the bugs but otherwise there support section is good about getting out the best product possible
Hello,
I already used the search function without a satisfying result. I am too using the SGS as an alarm clock and want to get rid off this annoying sound. The workaround is ok but not more. So I thought I create a mute sound and replace the original one with it. For that I need to know where it is.
Thanks for your help!
in JPU (not sure about others) it's /system/audio/ui/TW_Battery_caution.ogg
I noticed battery full sound is same with default notification sound and changes at the same time. If that is the case, there is no separate battery full sound. What I did was set default notification to silent and set each application (talk, email, etc.) to unique notification sound. Maybe that is not what you are looking for, but works for me. (For both JH2 and JK4)
Hi guys,
thanks! I´ll try it out.
Cheers

Hi there!
Due to the fact, that I´m a new member, I can´t post my ROM-related question into the Development forum, where it belongs.
I just unlocked, rooted and installed AOKP_mako_jb-mr1_build-2 on my brand new Nexus4.
My problem with AOKP is, that I can´t set my phone to ring AND vibrate when I´m receiving a SMS or Whatsapp-Message. I activated the box Ringtone and Vibrate in the Soundsettings. When I receive an incoming call, it actually rings and vibrates, just as intended. The in-app-settings in GO-SMS and Whatsapp are correct too (vibrate and ring). I´ve searched the forum, but I couldn´t find any helpful solutions yet (correct me if I´m wrong).
Is there any chance to fix this problem by installing a toggle app or did I miss a setting?
Maybe setting it off from ur app and let alone the aokp core respond to that.
i dont know really but maybe u can try it, and give us some feedbacks if goes well or not.. I also didnt try those apps on aokp.
In stock messaging in settings theres an option u can set too.
I love my Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) but I have found
a real phone for me, Google Nexus 4 (LG-E960), So awesome!
I put my phone in silent/mute mode (using quick settings) every night, but it never stops Whatsapp notifications sounding. Does anyone know how/why Whatsapp notifications bypass the mute setting?
Somebody posted a similar problem in another thread. Maybe it was you.
Anyway, use a standard notification sound that came with the rom you're using. The guy (or girl) said that using a custom notification sound causes the problem.
Thanks, but i already use a standard notification sound
???
I don't know. I rarely set my phone on silent.
I tried myself and it seems that it doesn't work for me either. What rom are you using?

That's interesting - do you mean you also get disturbed by Whatsapp notifications even when in silent mode?
I'm running Phoenix ROM v10.2 (Android 4.4.2).
Yes. So I think it's a whatsapp related. I use a custom ringtone.
I'm using a GPE rom
My adapt sound setting feature isn't working. Has anyone else tried theirs? Any ideas on how to get it working?
Solved
Found a fix for me on Samsung user forum. Settings apps system apps adapt sound force stop clear cache clear data. Then when using adapt sound I get the hearing test and can use the custom setting.
