[Q] Rooted HD2 shows unrooted as status

I have successfully installed Android Gingerbread 2.3.2 on my HTC HD2 device. While installing the DSTV app, I first tried to unroot it for sometime using the VoodooOTA Rootkeeper app. The problem is that the status of HD2 shows unrooted when using the VoodooOTA Rootkeeper but rooted when trying the DSTV app.
Is anyone having this kind of problem and how to go about it? Thanks
Anyone? Any help?

[Q] Backup of accounts 2.3.4 apk needed for rooted Defy+ running stock 2.3.4

Dear all,
Rooted my phone months ago without any issues. However, I now cannot access the 'accounts' menu from my contacts list, and it appears to be an issue with "Accounts 2.3.4".
I must have uninstalled it months ago without realizing. I've used Titanium Backup to backup, but whenever I try to restore it, it just proceeds in an endless 'loop' and does not restore. I figured maybe my backup is corrupted?
Is there anyone who can provide the apk for 'Accounts 2.3.4' ? I would be eternally grateful!
Amazing forum, btw- cannot live without it!
*Bump*
Anyone have the backup lying around? pretty please?

[Q] Rooted with Superoneclick and keep on losing root..

I have a Defy Pro (which is a rare bird in most parts of the world), which I successfullyrooted with Superoneclick. However, it keeps on losing root randomly, so I have to go back to desktop and run Superoneclick again to fix it. Is there any known fix to such problem, or may be some apk app which will allow me to reset the root without need to involve the big brother?

Problem resolved. I used old version of Superoneclick. For Motorola phones use version 2.3.3

Uninstalled Bloatware back on reboot

Hi All,
Need help on the following -
Uninstalled some system bloatware - JoyUI 11.20.04.22 from my Black Shark 2 SKW-H0 using this guide - method 2
Bootloader locked.
After rebooting - all uninstalled apps are back - how can I permanently remove them without rooting.
I know they'll be back after OTA - but before I update, how can I remove them so that they don't come back after reboot.
All help is welcome and appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
The only way to remove a system file permanently is through a process that requires a rooted device. If you managed to root your device, you can use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp. However, JOYUI10 and JOYUI11 have this process on boot that checks for a missing system app. If it detects that at least a single system app is removed permanently, it will go into bootloop. I've tried it on my BS2. Good thing its bootloader is unlocked so I've managed to fix it. Disabling the app is the best way possible.
Is Rooting the only option?
It seems rooting is the only option for permanent removal of Loggers/bloatware?
No work around ...?
