Hi guys,
Please help me to make the right choice
I need a 3G tablet, capacity doesn't matter and to be honest I don't really need stylus.
I stuck with those 2 tablets as I own Galaxy Note phone.
Are there more significent differences?
- a 3G Note 10.1 (£500) will be about £150 more than Tab 2 (£350)
- Note has better camera 5mp vs 3mp
Performance:
- can I split the screen on Tab 2 with 2 apps at the same time like on Note commercial videos?
- can I use these tablets like phones when I put my simcard from my old Note?
- is skype working flawessly on both?
Thanks for any advice!
The processor is a lot better in the Note and you cannot split apps on the Tab 2, no idea about skype or phone.
2 gigs of ram, 5ghz wifi, 4 core exynos , haptic feedback, superb s pen etc.(end of tinking capacity ) had the tab 2 for like 3 days, returned it back and got the note instead as I've thought the tab2 wasnt nearly as good as the tab1. On note(3g of course) phone & sms working just like on my sgs3.

If you can afford the note, go with that. The performance difference is huge. Also, I tried skype on the tab 2 and while it worked, the picture quality from the vga front facing camera was sub-par. The touchwiz version on the note 10.1 is also closer to what you get on the s3 while the tab 2 more closely resembles tab 1 10.1 touchwiz.

There's really no comparison between the two. If the money is not a major issue then the choice of the Note 10.1 is a no-brainer. The processor plus 2GB RAM in the Note make it the fastest tab out there while the Tab2 crawls by comparison.

speed
Only Note. Tab 2 is very slow.
There cannot be a comparison between the two as they are from two different product line I would recommend go in for note its a much better and refined product

These tablets are very much comparable. The Note however would be the bigger brother of the two.

The note is from note series which are devices with stylus and tablet is like any other tablet every piece of hardware in them is different from each the only similarity is the the screen size and the fact that both are made by Samsung so how can they be compared...
Even if you compare the two Tab will not stand a chance as it is inferior to not in all aspects so its like comparing a iview tablet with a note
Hello,
I think about move to Nexus 4 from Galaxy Nexus, but I'm not sure one thing.
How can you (N4 users) rate phone speed after full encryption?
Previous Nexus, and Nexus 7 / Nexus 10 have strange problem with that - speed degradation is big and I can felt it anytime.
Other phones, for example RAZR i, SGS II, SGS III haven't these problems with encryption.
What about new Nexus?
I currently have the Droid DNA, and I'm thinking about selling it and upgrading to the Galaxy S4 once Verizon releases it. The last Samsung phone I had was the Galaxy S II on Sprint. (epic 4g touch) and it used to do one thing that REALLY irritated me. I like having my phone's brightness all the way up. It just looks better imo. Especially on an LED screen. But the S II would ALWAYS turn the brightness down to avoid "overheating". It did this all the time, whether or not the phone was actually hot.
I was wondering if the S4 does the same thing? If so, is there a way to turn it off with or without rooting it? That could be the deciding factor for me...
For my birthday yesterday I received a "virtual keyboard" from Brookstone. I have not had much of a chance to use it yet but it sure is interesting. I will report back on my experience. Does anyone else have one and what do they think? I have uploaded a photo of my daughter trying it out...

Only real problem with those is that some people will not like the fact that since there is no actual keyboard, when you type you won't feel any keys travel since its just a flat surface. I was able to adjust to it but I can see how some would have issue with that.
I have had a chance to use it. This is the one from Brookstone. The engineering is amazing. The connection to bluetooth is instant. It doesn't miss a single keystroke. The image of each key even slightly changes to display that key in a depressed state when you tap on it. For what it is, it has no drawbacks. If you want the feel of a real keyboard, then no virtual keyboard will give you that. I give it two things up.

but i want to buy a mid range android, can u plz suggest me.
Being a S4 owner I am biased towards the handset but it is quick and able to keep up with the front row of android mobiles available.
All the way s4, low end with awesome specs and on top of that active development section.

The Zenfone 2 is better for performance. It is more powerfull than the Galaxy S4, outperforms the about every phone when it gets down to pure multitasking. Even running 4 games at the same time, is no problem for the Zenfone 2 4GB RAM model.
If you need a great camera & microphone, then you have to choose the Galaxy S4.
