Hi guys, I bought a second hand athena and am well chuffed with it so far. I was wondering if the joystick should have some kind of top on it as I have just bought a pdair case and the stick is too low to access. If there should be one, can anyone tell me where to get a replacement or an alternative?
Cheers
Hi there, I'm not quite sure what you mean but the joystick - at least on my x7500 - is somewhat levelled with the PDA's metal case, so another leather case would make it less accessible.
You could try to replace the rubber head on top of it with a longer one, that could do the trick...
Btw: What did you buy? I purchased a PDAir, quite a good case.
I agree - its almost flush to start with. Might stick up a millimeter.
Hi Will,
I bought a pdair aswell (£15 delivered - bargain!). My "stick has no rubber tip on the end, it must have fallen off. I'll try and get a piece of rubber or something to superglue on so that it is easier to use.
Loving the ameo tho, I've now got tomtom working properly with a fast fix. Just trying to find some decent games to play on it now.
Phil
Anyone have tried this?
I'm planning for this.. any reviews?

You can be the first to review it.
I have one the magnetic clips interfere with the gps so while the case is on it takes the phone a awhile to lock on to your location and keep the lock.
Looks really nice. I like that you can put some cash in it.
Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting an official S-View or flip case for my note. I carry a spare battery and usually end up swapping it regularly. The s-view case i tried in store is a seriously tight fit and im wondering if removing it frequently will wear the clips on the phone housing and cause it to loosen? Anyone have a similar use case without problems?
Thanks, J
Not sure of the housing.. But the case will get loose...
I recently purchased a used smartwatch with a slightly worn Rubber/Silicon Band with embedded electronics (camera/speaker,etc).
Does anyone have suggestions on how to maintain/restore/clean it?
From what I've heard:
Step 1). Clean with either Toothpaste or 1:3 diluted dishwashing soap, using hands. Be careful to avoid areas near and around embedded electronics.
Step 2). Dry, then apply Armor All, or other tire/plastic protectant.
Does anyone have any alternative advice or good recommendations?
Does anyone know of a good windscreen phone holder that doesn't fall off after a while.
The other day I was driving with my windows down (luckily my mobile wasn't in its holder) I went around a corner and the holder shot out the window....
Even if it wasn't that severe just falling off in the car with the modern day screens on these phones they could easily break so finding a holder with a really good sucker is quite important I haven't had much success in this regard so far...
anyone point me in the right direction
Oh Car air vents ones aren't an option needs to be a suction cup.......
cheers

Car vent mount wasn't an option for me either, and my windshield is too far to reach.
So I got a magnetic mount that uses foam tape to stick to my dashboard. It came with a metal plate that fits inside my case.
My just set my phone on the mount and it sticks, every time. No having to open a clamp or squeeze a button to put it on there. I like it so much I have one at my desk, one in my wife's car and we even bought one for a friend. Also the phone hasn't ever fallen off either.

Thanks I'll check that one out
Thanks again ; )
SlipGrip makes mounts that work with the most popular phone cases. Windshield mounts and more. I have no affiliation with this company but I have used their product and I like it.
