Hi,
i installed windows 7 on HTC HD2 and i am unable to locate extrenal memory
16GB ScanDisk Memory,
appreciate if anyone can give me step by step instruction how to go about it
or if there is a patch i need to install
only thing you need to install is a proper sd-card and this card has to be inside the phone during the first boot... please search the forums, it was been discussed a hundred times...
mine sandisk class 4 16 GB..works great..i think u should try this card..nothing problem till now..
Reset the phone with the sd card in it
If you are looking for separate external memory , you will not find it ....
WP7 uses the whole SD card as "Phone Memory" , unless you do some voodoo that you find here on the forums ...
In Zune does it show 16gb of storage?
I found out the hard way that all those 1 gb games won't install to your SD card, but I'm wondering if this will change either through a custom rom or ics? Very dissapointed
is it even possible to install apps to sd ?
cant find that option either
I found some other xda threads of some other android devices can run an app that will swap the ext sd and internal sd mounts so you can use your bigass SD card for your default storage. Not sure if it will run properly on our 7.7 , though.
its a shame that such a high end tablet does not have a simple apps to sd feature. it was in my GB on xperia x8. why is this feature missing from HC 3.2 ?
after downloading about 6-7 games of 1 gb each . the space is running out fast . Any solutions ?
So as title says, my 16gb (not even 16 but 8,9) are not enough for me so i need to get a new external sd card, any of you guys know what is the biggest sd card an s4 can handle ? thanks !
I use a 64gb SD card but I read the other day that you can use 128gb but not 100% they will work
Recently I just flashed a cm11 Snapshot m9 everything works perfect even the sd card but I can't seem to move my apps to my sd card .
question I need help on .. My apps can't be transfered to my sd card n from what I know my sd card is*SanDisk 64GB SDXC Memory Card Ultra Class 10 UHS-1
And from xda they said kitkat dislikes lower then class 6 SD cards n I have the path call sdcard1 N I cant seem to move any apps via clean master when my sd card is 49GB I also tried sd fix ,nextapp sd fix . Even I tried install modules like handle external storage and kitkat sd card full access via xposer installer nothing seems to work
You guys have a better solution for this ?
Thanks

Android 4.4 does not allow you to write directly to SD card (without root). You need to save to device first then transfer them over.
Is there any patch

If you root the device there are several patches in Play Store
Tell me
I have no problems saving to sd card using stock, non rooted Note4 and stock camera app. I believe factory installed system app can write to sd cards. Third party apps not.

What you meant is that you cannot install apps directly to SD card, but of course you may save pictures and videos to SD card. I have been doing that since day 1.
Popped a 64 GB Sandisk Ultra UHS1 Class 10 card in there. Didn't even need to change any settings, the phone was smart enough to determine that since I inserted the memory card I have intended to save my pictures and videos directly to the micro SD.
