hi guys iv recently purchased a 64gb class 10 sd card for my s4. i have tried using the internal 2 external app to swap the memories around so my phone recognises the sd card as the internal memory but this does not work and i get a warning saying something about it being exfat or something. how can i go about resolving this issue?
* i dont want to make any partitions as i would like everything on just 1 disk/space drive
format the sd to Fat32
still didnt work
I put a 128 GB SD card in my s4 and seems to be working fine. Is it suppose to be able to handle that big of a card ? If not, what problems can it cause ?
Hello guys,
I'm wondering about my tablet (the one from the title) and its limitation which is 32GB MAX on SD Card. I just assume it's because of default FAT32 filesystem used by stock firmware.
Right now I'm using CM13 which is MM, and the Card is used as extended Internal Storage.
The question is.. Can i use bigger card and use it as extended Internal storage as it's probably formatted as something different than FAT32?!
Thanks,
Jazz
just format bigger card to fat 32 and youll be fine, theres guides on yt
Hey guys did anyone ever try putting a 256gb micro sd card in the s5 to see if it supports it?
yes it does. (bought it yesterday, sandisk).
Now.... my problem is: making the phone to See these 256GB as INTERNAL Storage. cause without this.... (imo) the phone is just a piece of ***ℂℝÅℙ***.
theoretically, the phone can support any size of SD card pretty much. And to the first reply, 6.0 usually asks you if you want the ext sd card to be used as internal storage.
Thanks very much.
I was wondering if the 400gb is working in the note pro with marsmallow custom rom ?
Thanks
yes the MicroSD reader admit SDXC, and Filer System Extfat, the note pro can read Micro SD cards to 2TB. I have a 400GB Micros SD on it
Yes it can, I have had a 400GB for about a year now. Still am at Android 4.4.2 - I found that even though the card comes pre-formatted, it is best to let the tablet reformat it first. Then pull the card out and fill it with your content. There is never enough space.
