In my S4 India version GT I9500
I9500DDUAMDC
Developer option was not shown by default.
The same can be enabled by Going to
Settings <More< About Device < Tap Build No. 7 times
Developer options will be enabled, Then enable USB Debugging.
This for information and as displayed in video for Nexus
Worked for me. :highfive:

I am exploring mobile development on a the Android platform.
I have a Samsung Model YP-G70
Firmware 2.3.6
Kernel version 2.6.35.7-G70UEKI8-CL566269
[email protected] #2
Build number GINGERBREAD.UEK18
It is my understanding that chrome://inspect/#devices allows you to connect to an Android device that is in developer mode and do debugging etc...
A video that I saw on how to do this says to go to Settings - "About the Device" and tap the "Build number" 7 times or what ever number of times your device's manual says to do to turn it one. The manual that came with the device does not cover this feature.
Junior Member - OP Join Date: Aug 2012 posted a post that stated the they had a Model YP-G70 in developer mode (they comment in the post "I have tried with developer mode on and off"). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859651
Does anyone know how to place a Samsung Model YP-G70 into developer mode.
Thanks in advance,
Keith E.
hi guys im a new android user. i bought my i9505 galaxy s4 3 weeks ago and everything is working perfectly except the mobile data. i can only connect to E/G signals with it (which doesnt really do anything because i cant even check emails). its on LTE/3G/WCDMA/GSM(automatically) setting and the APN is the correct settings with the carrier in my country(philippines). i tried my sim on a different i9505 phone and it was able to connect to 4g so i guess the carrier/sim being the problem is ruled out. i have restored to factory settings/rebooted multiple times and am still unsuccessful. the phone's IMEI is not blacklisted or banned and it is intact(dont really know what that means but it shows a long series of numbers and im not really sure its safe to post it here). My carrier also supports the frequencies listed on what the phone has. i have not installed any custom firmwares and have not re installed any official releases.
i would really appreciate it if someone can help me fix this problem. could it be a software problem or a hardware problem(praying it isn't)?
my phone specs are
GT-i9505 samsung galaxy s4
android version:4.3
baseband:i9505XXUEMJ7
kernel version: 3.4.0-1765174 [email protected]#1 tue oct15 16:14:54 KST
Build number: JSS15J.I19505XXUEMJ7
SELinux: Enforcing SEPF_GT-I9505_4.3_0010
if you need me to put any more info just tell me
Go Settings > More networks > Mobile networks > Network mode > select WCDMA
Hi! My S5 (SM-G900M, Chile, Open [Carrier free]) just got the Lollipop 5.0 update (yay) but I'm having some accesibility issues.
Pushbullet mirroring is not working anymore and I can't enable Nova Launcher swipe down > notification tray gesture since it asks me for accessibility services.
When I access the accessibility option in the Settings, and I try to enable it, the "OK" button is blocked for some reason.
I'm attaching screenshots, hoping someone can help :c
I'm having the exact same issue. Pressing OK just doesn't respond no matter what I try. Have you found a solution?

Hello folks.
I have a question to you
In the developer options there is no oem unlock option visible.
Is this device unlocked by default or is this f.... option just hidden by samsung to make things harder dor the user. :silly:
Greets
I am looking for help on rooting my phone SM-G950U1.
I have been trying to follow tutorials online, but they all seem to require "OEM Unlock" in developer options. I do not have that option visible to me.

I have a note 8 so I'm unfamiliar with the s8 model numbers but I believe you have a US variant which unfortunately can't be rooted which is why you won't see the OEM toggle.
