[Q] Problem with DataOnEXT and NativeSD - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hello,
I have a problem with running roms using DataOnEXT or NativeSD.
For DataOnEXT it takes a long while to get booted but when it is booted it all seems to work (wizard etc.) but when I restart the phone everything is resetted. I have to re-enter the details for the wizard etc. Nothing is getting saved.
For NativeSD it sometimes keeps stuck at the loading screen but when it loads I get a lot of messages about processes that has been stopped and most of the times the phone reboots.
I have a Kingston 4GB Class 10 SD card.
My steps are:
I install HSPL 2.08
I install Radio 2.15
I run the task29 using HD2 Toolkit 4.3.1
I install MAGLDR 1.13 using HD2 Toolkit 4.3.1
I get the SD card and with the MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition I create 2 partitions (both primary). First one is a FAT32 partition with a 32KB cluster size. The 2nd partition is 1.5GB and is a EXT4 partiton.
For DataOnEXT I copy the rom to the sd card and then put the sd card back in my phone.
I run the HD2 Toolkit to install Recovery Version-TouchRC1 using 350MB or 400MB system size and a 20MB cache size.
I run the Recovery and install the rom.
For NativeSD I copy the rom and 4ExtRecovery 2.2.7 to the sd card and put the sd card back in my phone.
I start the phone and select the bootsettings and change it to 4Ext.
I install the rom using 4ExtRecovery, then restart the phone and change the bootsettings to NativeSD
That are the steps I follow. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. The roms I tried are: NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.1 V2.1, NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10 V1.4a and the TouchWizMOD_v2.1.

try to use 4ext-recovery to partition your sd card instead of using minitool. i have same problem before.

[Q] SD (sd-ext) installation not possible anymore (RAFDROID)

I now tried several times to install RAFDROID HD 4.0.2 but there seems to be a problem with the SD card since the installation always stucks with the boot logo.
I formatted, wiped, partitioned the card hundered times and I've done installations like that before w/o having any problems!
If I try to install an Android version which only uses NAND and not SD card everything is fine.
What is the most reasonable source for this issue?
I really do not know what to do now! I did following and I think this is correct:
1. Task29
2. MAGLDR 1.13
3. RECOVERY 400MB
4. RAFDROID HD
And of cource I have the two partitions on the SD card and I bought a new one and have the same failure... Please help. I need this phone!

[Q] unable to upgrade custom rom - magldr

hello, i got a 4gb sd card which works perfectly with magldr (1.13) and im enjoying a custom rom on my hd2 for a few months now
now, i recently got a 16 gb sd card and i tried to flash in various roms such as BoxmaX.S3.5.v6.0
but every time i turn on the phone it get stuck in various loading phases (most of them in the android/htc logo)
but when im using my old card everythings works great with the old rom, i dont want to overwrite it if it is not necessary
i formatted the new card several times and yet the problem stays the same.
i would appreciate your help.
every sd card isn't good for android. avoid using cheap, low-quality cards. i think sandisk is the best for hd2.
Are you using sd-ext?
If i was you i would task 29, reformat the sd card using panasonic sd formatter and use slow erase (better reliablity), reinstall magdlr, and download your choice of recovery for your rom.
reboot into magdlr and go to cwm and mount sd. It should pop up
worked for me for i have a 16 gig as well.
also you have to make sure what the system partion of your rom is as well. otherwise bootloops will commence.
let me know how it goes!
thank you

i did as you said, task 29, reformat with the formatter reinstall magldr and it works, the problem is that it is painfully slow now and it freezes for a minute now and than.
You can't 'flash' that ROM since it is an SD ROM (if I am not mistaken).
Their are different class SD cards, some are faster than others. However I do not know the numbers..

Android SD Boot Failed

I tried going into services to set the folder but when i do that it takes me back to the main MAGLDR menu
When i do boot AD SD, i get sd kernel open failed
I have 2 different rom folders on the root of my sd which i formatted
The directories are named exactly as specified in the thread
just go nand way better and stable
sent from my HTCHD2 running Haldrics Sense 3.0 rom v.2 & Marcs Kernel.
well i wanted wp7 on nand
Mate your SD card isn't formatted properly.
Put it in windows and then format it using FAT32 and the highest cluster size you can
Or download minitool partition magic or easeus partition manager and format your SD card as PRIMARY with FAT32 and highest cluster size.
PM me if u need more help
i did a task 29 and redid it and it worked
the sd card was fine prob just some internal issues

installing wp7 and no recovery?

i installed wp7 on hd2, and i don't have recovery now (for install android in another sd card)

this had me going for a while.
search for the ext4 recovery version for sd card.
with madldr you set the boot folder to ext4 and boot into recovery from there.
i have windows 7 in nand, and 1 sd card with 'sd android | ext4 data | windows 7' which i find easier although you need 2 cards to set it up anyway.
ok thanks
check out one of the links below, you can have WP7 in nand & Anroid NativeSD with EXT4 on one SD card.
