I don't Have 4G or UMTS-3 on HTC One 64GB Developer Edition in the city of Jacksonville Florida on T-Mobile Network. All I see is EDGE. Anyone from JAX having the same issues.
Unless Jacksonville is a reframed network you should expect edge speeds, as the developer edition is missing the 1700 AWS band for T-Mobiles HSPA+ (4G)

How can I fix it?
Thanks

Not much you can do unfortunately, you will have to wait for reframing to finish in your area. If the internet speed is important to you than your best bet is to return the device while you still can and opt for the T-Mobile version.

UNLESS... Someone posts the t-mobile radios and we can test to see if it woks on the dev edition phones. At that point all tmobile frequencies will work if successful
btw, no need for s-off. Please see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2245615
BUT! we need a Tmobile Radio to flash it with before we can use the thread method above!

I'm planning on buying a Note to use on T-Mobile but I wanna know If it'll get TMOS 3G or 4G. Yes I know that's it's coming to TMO but no one knows when. I hate how slow edge is an I'm always on 52mbps+ wifi but I like to have fast speeds on the go also. I read on Twitter about flashing a T-Mobile modem but idk if that's stable or what. Any help?

Unfortantaly no =( but on the up side a few people are working on it in this thread here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1512298
Some places T-Mobile does support 3G on the 1900 band but right now only a few citys have it up and running. Phoenix is not one of them
I'm in el Paso and even then the 4G isn't that great. But still hate the edge.

just wait T-Mobile is coming out with their own version

Only way is to use another phone as a mobile hotspot...and then use the wifi on the Note. It works, but it's definitely not an ideal situation.
I agree I hope the TMO note comes out before I get my money to get a note

Eww, disgusting Crapdragon processor.
Tmo modem? On twitter? There is none. Dorks are passing off the att one. Do not flash it. It'll mess up your note. In chicago i get mixed 4g and 3g. In the boonies get edge.
When note comes out on tmo, someone will probably extract the radio file and post. Hopefully hardware specs will be the same

The T-Mo note will just be a rebadge AT&T model and will not help us here with the n7000.
The Japanese sc-02c on the other hand has a much better chance of success.
It may be a miracle. I was using the International Samsung Galaxy Note and was only receiving edge on T-Mobile. I learned why this was and hoped it would change. About three nights ago exactly I was trying to use my data which was edge which did not work at all. I was not sure why. Then the following night I was at a dinner party in Cougar Mountain Drive which is in the Bellevue area. All of a sudden I turned on my data and guess what I saw. A big H+ staring me back in the face. I was so overjoyed I could not even begin to explain. But alas, I could not longer see the H+ when I returned home in the Seattle Area. Is T-Mobile finally refarming? We can all hope can't we? What do you guys think?
Probably Tmo rolling out 4G in select areas.
You can always apply the Tmo radio to get 4G

that's only with the at&t version. I believe OP was referring to T-mobile expanding their network bands to the ones used by at&t

That's awesome advice....not. Are you trying to get him to brick his phone?
This is an N7000.
T-Mobile has been working on standing up the 1900 frequency, which is the same band AT&T uses, and the band included in all international phones. They have been using AWS which is the 1700 band. This is why all new-ish T-mobile phones are pentaband. You must have been in an area that they already converted over. It is supposed to be complete sometime in 2013.
I have a similar story. While visiting in Concord, CA. Downtown where the Old Spaghetti Factory is: I was able to get HSPA+ on my Infuse i997. Looking forward to the refarm taking place all over the usual spots.

:| You didn't bother reading the rest of the thread did you? It can only be done on the ATT note because ATT was preparing for their merge wit T-mobile. "Do some research."
Its the same reason that the Skyfire can be flashed to t-mobile.
Post it on airportal.de because it is the only way to track it besides HowardForums.

I understand that T-mobile has re-farmed 1900 MHz for 3G service in the Boston, MA area.
Is this service available to T-Mobile pre-paid PAYG customers? On the $3/day plan?
Is there any requirement for a GBA SIM? Or any newer SIM?
Are there any specialized APN settings?
Any specialized phone settings? "Force" WCDMA 1900 MHz only from the Service Menu?
I have an international un-locked Samsung Galaxy S II (I9100), and a 7 year old T-Mobile pre-paid SIM.
I have been able to use GSM data (2G: GPRS/EDGE) as recently as July, 2012.
My visits are brief so I use the $2/day plan but would like to be able to use 3G.
current reports,
no specific deals with TMO regarding network sharing,
i'd doubt AT&T will lend the networks without a fair price

This is true. Carrier radio frequencies do differ in the USA. Wifi is the only high speed you'll get in the USA if you are not on at&t using the at&t Atrix.

If you're not locked into a t-mobile contract I suggest going to straight talk, they have a SIM for AT&T version phones and that should get you 3g. Or go for h20 wireless which should get you full 4g speed.

and I'd consider verizon's 3G more like 2g hahaha

That entirely depends on where you are or what market you're in. T-Mo is in the process of moving all their HSPA+ service from the 1700MHZ band over to the 1900MHZ band in order to make way for its future LTE services. Most markets are still on 1700. If you're in one of those markets still, then the Int'l Note 2's HSPA+ will not work (because it does not support 1700MHZ HSPA+). On the other hand, if you're one of the lucky ones in a new 1900MHZ T-Mo service area, then you're all set to go!

Can't u wait a week for one from Tmo that'll work with all their hspa+ networks and future proof for lte with actual warranty for the same price? Heck you waited this long already what's another week for lte and warranty?
I'd wait personally. The T-Mobile one should have LTE too so you can take advantage of that once they start firing up those networks.
I have one, but I cant connect it to Verizon. Does this phone is working in Verizon CDMA network ?? If so how can I achieve this ?? Phone also missing the IMS (MEID Verizon version). Please help.
VZW generally will only activate a phone they sold you one branded with VERIZON.

Everybody keep saying it, but why ??
When I have purchased phone, I saw the MHz its supporting, which is Verizon range from 800 to 1900.
PS Anybody knows the programming menu code for HTC ONE ?
The developer version is a gsm device and Verizon operates a CDMA network. They are incompatible and the phone will not work.

Its not a cdma phone. Wcdma is NOT the same as cdma. Its a different technology. And even if it were, it ISN'T, Verizon won't activate non Verizon phones on their network. Way to spend some good money on something without knowing how it works....

Its not a troll, I'm not so smart in this type of technology. In my mind it was very simple WCDMA is Docomo, which goes way ahead of regular CDMA, and Qualcomm made an support from WCDMA to CDMA2000, thats why I cant understand why Verizon CDMA don't want to support it.
