No, windows is always on nand if you want to dual boot with android.
Why not try NativeSD android rom?
mengfei has a good tut on installing NativeSD android.

There a quite a few ROMs in the nand section (here)which also boot via NativeSD. Check the ROM title, but also check the first post since many ROMs omit NativeSD from the title. Your choice.

Sounds to me like you did not install the android rom! It is not the same as the now old type of "sd rom".
Go to recovery and select install zip from sdcard and select the rom on the sdcard and flash it selecting NativeSD install when asked.

If you want to dual boot wp7 and nativeSD, you have to install wp7 first.
When it comes to the partitioning, you need fat32 first (to the left), then ext4 (middle) and then the wp7 bit (to the right) all set as primary.
There is an old video for dual booting http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=944288 don't use the DFT rom, use a newer one. After you have wp7 working with small partition, shrink the FAT32 partition and create an ext4 partition in the middle. Then put android ROM.zip and recovery onto fat32 and install as per rom instructions.
Hope this helps

I just did that, install win 7,8 first then make 3 partitions as you said, and then I was copy NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10 V1.4a and 4EXTRecovery on sd-card. And then with 4EXTRecovery I was install Rom,after rebouting I was made boot to nativsd. And I got new problem when I go to boot from sd I got on screen load and everything is good but after go go go! I get screen witf HTC logo and after that my phone restarts I was try 5 times an it always seam.what I was do wrong?

"thanks" on last post was my fault .
It seem that you didn't prepared nand . All of these ROM need some space for install in nand. If you read the first post on the ROM you choose , you can find how to prepare it.
Remember that maybe you must reinstall even WP7 after you have prepared nand.
Personally I use Tytung NativeSd ROM with Wp7 on nand for just about 1 year. And everything run fine.
Plees sorry for my poor English

[Q] magldr "Boot AD SD" compatible ROMS

Since MagLdr release, i have never seen any build that is compatible to run from magldr's "Boot AD SD" option, am i missing something?
from what i understood and tried by myself (after unfortunatelly losing my setup) normal SD build are not compatible with this option.
How can i convert normal SD or NAND roms to run from SD with this magldr option?
It's not something you'd call compatible, but with a little bit of work all of the sd builds that uses the cedesmith initrd can be modified pretty easily to boot from magldr. I've done it with JDMS, HD2ONE and desire_hd2 so far, and letama has posted the modified superram one. I'm sure the DesireZ works the same. You can find the instructions he posted here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10314695&postcount=807
It's literally just adding nand_init to one line in init.rc
There is a thread released today which will tell you step by step how to convert Nand Roms into Zip Rom so you can flash it anytime from SD card through Clockwork Mod Recovery.

the question is , how to convert the NAND boot rom to SD boot, not CMR!
CMR is just another method to flash NAND Roms, without a data cable
sorry, but i dont understand how this works. the post explaining the procedure is not very clear to me. could someone be of any help and make it a little bit more noob proof?
i have phone numbers and text messages on a sd card android rom which i need badly.

[Q] Android A2SD question

hello,i have a t-mobile HD2 that cannot boot any android rom(SD or NAND)so my guess is that my bad blocks don't let my phone boot Android...so here is my question:with A2SD I install the rom to the SD card(which is virtually converted to NAND or something?) or not??if someone finds any solution about my problem i would be grateful

I don't have any clue what your actual question is supposed to mean, but if you can't install SD Android then it isn't anything to do with bad blocks. You need to give more information, such as which type of HD2 you have, what radio it has, do you have HSPL, what steps you've taken so far etc. Nobody can help without sufficient information.

I still don't quite understand what the actual issue is. Do ANY ROMs boot on your phone? The reason I ask is because you later contradict this original statement by saying something about A2SD moving your apps to the SD card.

A2SD does not install the ROM to NAND nor does it install NAND to SD. It install apps to your SD card, apps that you use on your phone.
NAND ROMs are flashed directly to your phone and completely remove Windows.
SD ROMS are ran from your SD card with your Windows still functioning when you want.

I have a hd2 too.
magldr 1.13 .... clockwormod 5.0.2.6 ... Nexushd2 ics 4.0.4 - rom... a2SD-Script ...
200mb nand-partition..5mb cache-partition.. 1 gb ext4-partition and 400 mb swap-partition
I installed my rom witht "hd2 toolkit 4.2.0.1", that can be downloaded here on "xda-developers".
With this tookit you can do followed things:
- Start with a "full wipe" called "task 29" (I think this "task 29" is necessary for your hd2, because of your problems and bad issues you are reporting)
- then partition your nand-memory (for first install i recommen 200mb nand an 40 mb cache - after you recognized that it works, you can reduce cashe to 10 or 5 mb)
- install magldr
- install clockworkmod recovery
- install your rom

[Q] SD Development + Native SD

so now that the Native SD seems to be a HiT & is Fast, will the SD Development still continue? Would those guys who are not developers - so they say - be able to still port/ convert those NAND Roms to Native SD?
Just wondering.
Nativesd and SD aren't the same, nativesd is a nand rom running from SD ext so for example can't be used when the phone is running winmo, whereas SD android can be started from haret under winmo.
oops, wrong.

it will if you choose 'nand' in the instalation options, but any rom that allows nativeSD will use teh aroma installer and will default to installing on the sd-ext partition, unless you manually choose the nand option.

there are a few process that you need to do, as of now you have WP7 which took up almost 99% of your SD card, so you must process that card so that you can either put an Android SD or Native SD, I hope your card is big enough to make other partitions.
Try the links below & use what ever you need, BTW if you made a mistake in the process you can't/ won't access your WP7 anymore
But you can make a back up image of your existing WP7 SD card to another card just in case.

you will have to use last 24mb and clear sd mbr
as for task29, don't think it is necessary. wp7 installation formats nand and sdcard to create one raid type memory over both medias
don't think formatting sdcard is necessary either, but if you do, use https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
