My property, bought and paid for by me. I demand full use of the merchandise I purchase from a steak knife to a daily driver vehicle. Why should my android device be any different. Give android users the right to have root access and therefore better development capabilities now!
Need to stickie this thread

Signed and commented and gave a donation to keep ipetitions up and going. Seemed to help when Samsung stopped updating the behold 2. About 3 weeks after I signed they released the official update to 1. 6 when they said they were done @ 1. 5. Hope this gets where it needs to go and gets done what is intended. Thanks for starting it.

I know we have quite a few HTC One pre-order posts already going, but it's hard to determine how many of us have actually pre-ordered the US HTC One.

I've seen about 4-5 different articles now on Yahoo saying it is the best looking phone on the market within the last few days.
HTC may not have a very good marketing campaign but seems like Yahoo is doing HTC a favor.
What do you guys think?
Their latest article is titled
"The HTC One Deserves Its Place in the Spotlight"
Then yahoo post a link

Really want this phone but stupid 1700mhz isn't included in the Dev Edition >:/
Every tech site is giving HTC a lit of praise.
Get a T-Mobile version and it's unlockable via htcdev.

I need 64gb. 32 not enough. That's the whole issue.
But yeah I'm glad HTC is getting some much needed spotlight
From the link:
"It’s an Android phone — the most beautiful one you’ve ever seen. Seriously. It makes you feel happy and calm just holding this thing in your hands. There’s a picture of the HTC One next to “gorgeous” in the dictionary."
heh - I'd call that a positive review...
I try to avoid Yahoo at all times.

Hey all,
Just got an email from HTC. They apologized for the shipment delay, thanked me for the purchase, and included a $25 redeemable code for the Google play market.
I preordered the Att HTC One and developers edition. So I'm not sure which this email referred to.
