Fix my Thinkpad tablet 1 brick? - Thinkpad Tablet General

Hi I recently think I bricked my tablet. I don't know what happend, it just randomly wouldnt go past the static Lenovo logo.
I can access CWR but when I try to flash a fresh rom I get either status 0 error or status 7 error. Any ideas? I can access my internal SD card.
Please help, I'd love you forever.

UPDATE:
I just fixed my tablet.
Flash this format.zip:
http://ubuntuone.com/4zKT1jqeqhR8qdGh2y4TaM
What it does is self explanatory.
Reboot when done and then see if it works. If it does not. Flash one of these roms mad for the tablet found here (after using the format.zip):

Thanks guys!

What ROM were you running? What ROM are you trying to flash to it? The only ROMs I know of for the TPT are the ones koshu made.
You might have to flash the format zip found in koshu's thread, but before doing that it would be helpful to know the above information.
Edit: a quick search on that filename brings up a ROM for the kindle fire... ROMs are device specific. You cannot flash a kindle fire ROM to the thinkpad tablet. What ROM was last working on it?

This all happened with the stock rom, I was not messing with it until I thought a rom can be used to fix it.
So yeah, everything was stock except for the rooting.

I'm sorry I don't remember : ( any way to check?

I don't know unfortunately...
I would say to flash the format zip file posted in Koshu's cm10 thread under Additional steps, then flash his cm10. Using that format zip will clear everything off... just fyi.

Have you tried to restore a backup? If you don't have one,I can upload mine. It's ICS stock. tell me if you need it!

No Google Talk? Can't download from the market either. That is a must have. I like the simplicity of it though. Issues with browser and search. Need to clean those up before i will use for long.
Try flashing the file added to the first post, it should add back Google Talk and the Search Box...
You can add some apps that missing or deleted.
My A500 Rocks!
Continued browser issues, can't search from address box. Slow rendering of pages and constant dropping of wifi. Nice thought, but can't use with these issues.
to be honest, one of the best ROMs ive flashed lol
the only problem im having is sometimes when i turn the screen on the touch screen doesnt detect anything =[
Still my favorite rom. I have run every one I can find on XDA and I still come back to this!!!

the rom is dead. same with the other threads for this guy's roms that you bumped for no reason. do you have a reason to want 3.2 over 3.2.1? go with a rom thats supported by its dev, not a dead rom that hasnt been bumped in MONTHS.

[TOOLKIT] PAC ROM Porter

Presenting PAC ROM Porter
About the tool:
This tool can be used to port the great PAC ROMs from any device. It's based on the guide of rishab.raj37. Thank him too.
How to use:
Make sure you that both the ROMs(Base and PAC) have the same resolution. I recommend taking CM as base. Also make sure that the android versions of base and PAC ROM matches. Try to use port from a device of same manufacturer, though it may not matter much.
Steps-
1. Place base ROM zip in CM folder.
2. Place PAC ROM zip in PAC folder.
3. Now click on Main.bat the tool will do some steps.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Then it will zip the ROM, select name as desired and find your ROM in /PORT folder.
6. Congrats on your newly ported ROM.
Downloads:
Download the tool from here.

FAQs:
Q. Well I ported this accordingly but it's stuck in bootloop. How to solve it?
A. Use my bootloop remover tool from here.
Q. Why you recommend porting from same manufaturer?
A. Well you can port from others also but in some of them you might need some framework modding and also need to do some modding in kernel. But in most cases even from other manufacturers the ROM should work.
Q. How can I help?
A. Pressing THANKS button would be enough.

No. This is deprecated and I have no idea why I used to make such toolkits.

Any ROM's coming?

Hardware seem solid, EMUI sucks ass, would be nice to get a stock launcher on there backed into an optimized ROM
Yep, all the above, true, but because of the unique chipset, it's very hard to build ROMs...
Also, theres a Q&A thread, this topic should be over there, right mods?
There is already work in progress for cm12.1 by me, at moment i make a custom bootable boot.img, seems working on stock firmware but stuck after boot when say "android is upgrading"...

From what I understand he is saying that once they get a working boot.img he will be able to port any rom to our device, just like when he was developing for S2.

How to install a new ROM in the current state of my phone?

I want to install a ROM of the latest android version. I installed a custom ROM a long time ago, I honestly don't remember what I did. I think I used "wug's tool" or something like that. Here's what my phone says:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

}
Where it says GT-I9505G, I don't think it said that originally, when I got this custom ROM it changed to that. It's an AT&T phone (U.S). I'm not very knowledgeable about this, I usually just follow tutorials.
So what method should I use? Any tutorials, links? ROM recommendations?
Thanks.
It's important to know which bootloader is on the phone before flashing anything.
I suggest installing Samsung phone info app from the play store to find the version. Once you know the version, then you can decide how to proceed.

Add screenshots of the app to check it better.
Since he already flashed a custom rom, I don't think the bootloader is locked anymore.
In theory, you just need to flash a custom recovery (TWRP recommended) then you should be able to flash pretty much any I9505 roms.
I agree that it is unlikely that the bootloader is locked but I believe it is always good to know which bootloader is on a phone before flashing anything.
if Wi-Fi or network signal isn't good on any new rom you try you'll need to change the bootloader if you want to update the modem/baseband.
I installed the latest version of TWRP since mine was outdated. I did a full wipe as instructed in the ROM's page but TWRP refuses to install the ROM after. I keep getting "Updater process ended with ERROR: 7" "Error installing zip file [location of my file/file name]". I am without OS.

First update your TWRP. Are you using the correct ROM? Which version of the Tab are you having? Download the correct ROM and then flash it.

That's what I have been doing, the ROM's are for my device.
Nexus 7 2012 (WiFi).
looks like you're using OTG USB to flash stock
you should boot to bootloader, connect to PC and flash stock firmware from there...
Hi,
I tried that via NRT and it still gives errors.
