Firstly apologies but can anyone help me out before buying.
I was looking into a n7 3g because of the portable factor, however, would I be able to use my giffgaff microsim and use that to receive and send text?. I understand gosms would be possible however, I like to be sure before buying.
Also, is making or receiving phone calls impossible without an android phone to pair up with?, I hear about tablet sms doing this.

I wrote an application that can make a data call using TAPI. I used this application in two XDAs. The problem is that when I try to make a call for second XDA, the second one couldn't determine the incoming call and couln't pick the call.
When I changed the software to make a voice call, everything become OK. The software can make a call and also pick it.
Please help me. how can I solve the problem?
I want to transfer some data from one XDA to another. Please introduce me the best method.
Best regards,
A. Riazi
i seem to recall that people had the same issues with fax recieving they could send but not recieve
i'm not sure if the post got lost in the great crash
but surely some of the people who posted in it would be likely to have some info about if it's a general issue with the gsm part of the xda
if you are close i suppose you could use bluetooth that is if it was xda2's
Hello Everyone,
I really don't know if this post will be in the right place. I have been reading this forum for quite some time now and i can't find that many direct references to the HTC 3600i. Is the "Trinity" actually the 3600i?
Anyway, to the point of the post.
I have a HTC 3600i, purchased in Australia from carrier 3 (Hutchison 3G Australia). It is the original ROM from the carrier and never had Internet Calling enabled.
I have downloaded a collaboration of cabs that re-enabled this feature, allowed me to configure my SIP details and i could actually make and receive SIP calls using the handset. My problem is that regardless of what i do or what CAB / DLL / RegHack i do i cannot seem to get any sound through the ear speaker nor the loudspeaker.
The person i call (or the person that calls me) can hear me fine, i just cannot hear anything through the handset.
My desire to use the build in WM6 Internet Calling feature comes from being frustrated over trying about 5 different SIP phones that failed to excite me (as they cannot integrate with the phone ear speaker - like when you make a normal phone call, nor can they integrate with my address book).
Any information that could be shed upon this situation would be greatly appreciated (eg. how to make it so i can hear the person i am talking to using the Internet Calling feature). I am quite new to this scene but am very excited to get involved.
Hi everyone,
I am an american with an unlocked touch hd t8282 and I have my own touch hd questions I was hoping I could get answered. i apologize for my new thread but i was unable to find a similar thread to these questions.
3. If i get the t8285, will i be able to conference call. I cannot do a 3 way call on my t8282, if i get the 85 will i be able to do?
a. Is there a way to get conference calls back anyways on my t8282? i am a business professional and it is insane that i can no longer do 3 way calling
4. If i get the telstra hd will i be able to do video calls? Att offers video share off their media net, will i be able to utilize that finally if i get the t8285?
5. Does anyone know at the moment what the best video calling program is that i can get right now to use on my t8282? a program that i could use on my wifi as well as edge or if i get the 8285 on 3g?
thank you
I cannot answer your Video call question, but I believe you should have conference abilities as standard on the T8282 when on a call you should have add call Hold call etc on the dialer do you not have this? Did you change anything as you said can you get conference calls back on your device did you have it before?

If you have a smart phone that can tether data to your nexus, it won't matter if it's 3g or not you can use apps like tablet talk to send sms as well as make calls on your nexus wifi version. Look here
