thank you
I cannot answer your Video call question, but I believe you should have conference abilities as standard on the T8282 when on a call you should have add call Hold call etc on the dialer do you not have this? Did you change anything as you said can you get conference calls back on your device did you have it before?

Hi all,
I've had my MDA Pro a few days now and I'm really impressed with most of it (except the size, I still can't quite get used to it's wider dimensions...!) - the screen is AMAZING and is one of the big things stopping me going back to a QVGA screen!
I've tried video calls on it - BUT - they don't seem to work.
I've had a mate call me from the "3" network and it worked fine - we could see and hear each other without problems.
When I call him however all he gets is a "incoming call" notification (and not an Incoming Video Call notification) and all he hears is "digtial white noise" - ie, the sound of a FAX machine!
I have had 2 and 4 bars when I've tried making calls, but only 2 bars when receiving so I know I've got WCDMA coverage.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Between my wife and myself we have the \jasjar and MDA Pro and on different networks. No problems at all! But I have experienced this exact problem before when I had a Sony Ericsson V800 and called a relative on '3'. He could call me no probbs, we saw each other and everything. But when I called him, white noise for him but notification that he was receiving a video call.
Bottom line: It was never resolved so I took the phone back. Try a video call in a t-mobile shop, if it works try a video call in say vodafone or with someone else. This will tell you if you're phone is faulty or wether the '3' network is truly incompatible with some phones/network providers. Or PM me with your number and we'll try a quick 10 second test both ways.
Thanks for the offer - I might take u up on it later on...
I've got some gibbon from tech supp calling me today to try and sort it out (I think he mentioned something about not pressing the little "turn video calls" button)
If that doesn't fix it then I'll be swapping numbers with ya!
Cheers
I have also had problems going from O2 to THREE with video calls...
I managed to call an Orange VIdeo phone and we both got a picture, they can hear me, but I get no sound
Calling from THREE to Orange works fine all round.
I couldnt get O2 to THREE to work at all.
Is there a general problem with network incompatibility here?
Video calling from T Mobile UK to any network is fine, as long as both partys are setup for the service, and have 3G coverage. and both handsets are compatible
I saw the manual for how to make three way calling.
I understood how to make 3-way calling. when i am in a call either "recieve a new call and press talk again" or "make a new call and press talk again"
My problems are:
1. I am not able to end/release a single call after making conference.
2. I am not able to end/release the new call and continue on the old call unless the new call eneded by the other party.
3. I am not able to swap the calls when i am not in conference call.
I was able to these in my previous winodws mobile phones t-mobile SDA and Dash.
Is ther any additional app to make this possible or Is there a way of operating the mogul to achieve these.
Please help.
no replies.
is the problem stupid
or
no one knows a solution
i am really not able to operate the above.
i really appreciate your help.
I have not tried this yet on my mogul but to switch between calls all you need to do is hit the call button. As far as ending the call, I always wait for the person to hang up. Sorry I could not help.
Hello Everyone,
I really don't know if this post will be in the right place. I have been reading this forum for quite some time now and i can't find that many direct references to the HTC 3600i. Is the "Trinity" actually the 3600i?
Anyway, to the point of the post.
I have a HTC 3600i, purchased in Australia from carrier 3 (Hutchison 3G Australia). It is the original ROM from the carrier and never had Internet Calling enabled.
I have downloaded a collaboration of cabs that re-enabled this feature, allowed me to configure my SIP details and i could actually make and receive SIP calls using the handset. My problem is that regardless of what i do or what CAB / DLL / RegHack i do i cannot seem to get any sound through the ear speaker nor the loudspeaker.
The person i call (or the person that calls me) can hear me fine, i just cannot hear anything through the handset.
My desire to use the build in WM6 Internet Calling feature comes from being frustrated over trying about 5 different SIP phones that failed to excite me (as they cannot integrate with the phone ear speaker - like when you make a normal phone call, nor can they integrate with my address book).
Any information that could be shed upon this situation would be greatly appreciated (eg. how to make it so i can hear the person i am talking to using the Internet Calling feature). I am quite new to this scene but am very excited to get involved.
Hey guys, I just realised shortly today, that Verizon Droid Pro has been locked from Call Divert function. (I seldom use this fucntion, thats why I am so late until now)
There is no Option in the Call Setting Menu (where Usually do for Android)
And when I dial **21* (Standard GSM divert command),
It pops up says Forward function is not allowed outside Verizon Network
Good Lord, I am using my phone in Hong Kong, of course I am not in the VZ network.
So, I just wonder if anyone has any idea to get it working?
Cheers:highfive:
hi i live in Israel, i purchased the SM-N986N in Korea. i cant make any conference call with this device, it all work (same sim-card) with my Galaxy Note 9, but with the N986N i cant make conference call !
During a call I have no problem to add a call, but i dont have the "Merge" button i have only the switch button, so i can switch between 2 calls but i cant merge them to conference call. again : same sim card with another device - the conference call work great, so its not the sim card or my network provider issue.
Pls help me
I have the same device and same issue. I think the problem is that conference calls require VoLTE, which is not possible for N986N version. If you find a solution please let us know!
I have the same problem SN-N986N I can't make a conference call, with the Note 10 plus US unlocked version I can do it.
