Hi Syrian Eagle,
You should
Boot into "Download Mode"
start odin / heimdall
connect with computer via USB
load Stock firmware files
click on "Flash"- / "Start" - Button (I can't remember how is called)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1637966
You could use this tutorial..you'll find package with Samsung drivers etc..make sure you have uninstalled old drivers & rebooted before installing new ones.
Also make sure you have working USB cable etc.

Your USB cable must be damaged or your USB port may need cleaning or damaged try these solutions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27205737&postcount=4571

If you have come from a GingerBread ROM that would be correct.
ICS/JB ROMS USE DIFFERENT DRIVERS
Now follow the advise and reinstall the samsung drivers and try again.

Thank you very much but my problem is not resolved because when i connect my phone into the pc my phone and the pc doesn't show any thing like if he is not connected
Turn off the phone, remove battery, wait 1 minute, put the battery back and restart the phone. Then connect the phone to your pc and see if that helped.

Every possible reason and solutions that I am aware of, for them are mentioned on that link , you have to try and test each one out, including various Drivers, for you to test...
BUT you keep saying there was no Sign of connection, which means the PC does not say anything (like unknown USB Device) or make a sound and your USB icon does not appear on the phone...am I correct???
That simply means there is NO link, which means, its either your USB cable or USB Port is damaged

Sorry nothing get petter still the problem
Dear friends,
Recently I damaged by USB port. So, I sent my phone for repairing at Samsung Servicing Centre where they replaced my USB port. After they replaced my USB port, my phone is not detected by PC anymore. Nothing happens at all if I connect my phone to a PC. There is no notification at all. My phone is only charging. I tried pulling up and down the tongue - like structure inside my USB port but it's of no use at all. I am at a delimma. Please help.

repairs are usually covered by warranty upon the same issue incase they were unable to fix it.
take it back to them and demand to resolve the issue,
you paid good money for the repair and therefore should be entitled to it
maybe u haven't installed samsung usb drivers
the same problem with mine., i just changed my usb chord after that i cannot connect to usb mass storage anymore even i installed usb driver still can't access storage

here's what i do when that happens:
(1) re-install drivers
(2) reboot pc and also cp
(3) connect chord and wait till the pc auto installs the drivers
(4) press "ok" connect phone storage
ps: also try to straighten the chord and flex it a bit. hehe

The main problem is that it is not even detected by my PC as connected. There is no notification of the phone being connected at all both in PC and phone. Can this be due to the USB cable that I am using? Or is the new USB port incompatible with my phone? Will reflashing the Rom solve the problem? The Samsung Servicing Centre fellows have no solution at all. They simply said that it is a software problem because I am on a custom Rom and that my USB is blocked. I don't think USB port can get blocked because of flashing a custom Rom because it was working fine before the repair. Please please please help me.

this also happens to me sometimes and ive already given you my own solution to this
if your phone is charging when you connect to the pc..
it means the chord is maybe working..
try to tighten the usb chord connector to the usb socket of your pc..
are you sure you are using the right drivers?? kindly check or use the kies cd
be patient and wait for the phone drivers to be automatically installed by the pc when you connect the phone fr the 1st time..
try turning off you anti-virus.. (not related but....)

There are charge only cables that do not data connect. If it is trickle charging the phone that is the problem. But you say there is no indication of a connection; sorry I just kinda jumped in at random. Your post popped up in the new posts list.

Are ur usb ports properly functioning ? ie pendrive or other are working properly ?
also is your usb cable working ? if possible you can try with your friends usb cable which can go in your phones port .
if nothing works flash stock rom again

Pen drives are working properly. I don't think its the cable because it is the original USB cable provided with the phone. I have tried with other USB cables but same result. Will flashing stock Rom really solve the problem? I can't flash stock Rom because I can't connect to Odin boy longer.

Plugging in the USB i a different ought to work. Try this before you go in for more serious options like ODIN.
Try connecting the phone via an USB at the back-panel of your PC.

hi all i recently got a Hp Omen laptop and my samsung galaxy note 4 n910g wont connect it connect but keeps doing that sound when you disconnect the device, things ive tried is wyped everything and installing a fresh rom nothing, second unrooting going back to stock nothing, third awhile ago i was on cm12 and you know the connect usb thing its got charge online and the one to connect to use as a storage i clicked on charge and nothing happened. on my old laptop works fine so what i did was put it on charge and then back to storage to see if it fixes it nothing, i do not know what to do it charges when the phone is off, it boots into download mode and i can do odin stuff, but it wont connect i have also installed samsung kies to see if it would help nothing and i also installed the samsung drives still nothing. also it connect to my home computer just fine its also a hp @gekkehenkie11 @firebird11 any ideas?

Did you install the drivers before hand? If not look for them install them then go to device manager in the computer find the phone, there should be an exclamation mark right click and press update drivers or right click and uninstall, once the device is uninstalled unplug the phone wait a sec or two then plug it back in

Uninstall the current driver in device manager and reinstall the latest driver

Try a different USB port, a different Cable if neither would fix it try connecting to a different PC..
