Stop complaining about buying an incomplete device in other sections and post them here. Getting tired of unhelpful info being thrown around on XDA.
Edit
I love my xoom and would never return it, just getting tired of stupid post and tools with no experience lol.
My only remorse is that I didn't buy it on the first day of release.

I am still on the fence. Just got mine a couple of days ago. I have had a handful of problems with apps FC'ing. What I think is really dumb is the case that Staples sells puts the power plug on the bottom so you cant use the Xoom propped up and have it plugged in at the same time.
I am also not convinced yet that I am a good candidate for a tablet. I create a lot of content but don't consume a lot of content. I still have to grab my laptop to do photo editing, faster text editing, video chatting (other than the GTalk app). I don't think a lot of my issues are specific to the Xoom or more Android 3.0 compatibility issues.
I think the vast majority of problems will be sorted out soon but I am not sure I need to pay full price to be an early adopter yet.

Yes, but then the holes for the camera arent in the right place, plus the case is just weak, doesnt hold well and the Xoom slides down and turns the volume down. The case is just a bad design.

Love mine, don't plan on selling it anytime soon. And once Honeycomb matures, this thing will be a beast!
I'm about to return my xoom, primarily because the touchscreen stopped responding. Which is a gigantic problem on a buttonless device!!!!!!!!!
I think I am going to go for my money back, and possibly buy the 16gb version when it comes out to save a few bucks.
I am tempted to get an iPad2, which makes me feel like an asshole but all the good apps are on there now. However I am learning java and will hopefully have time to write some apps soon, thereby making an empty app store more of a positive than negative.
Before anyone flames me for thinking of getting an ipad, its just cause I feel like its the one form factor device where I might not care as much if its locked down (of course I will jailbreak it on day one if I get it, and will be dual-booting android on it sometime after the ASOP comes out, google...)
If all I want to do with this device is read/watch/consume content, and ipad has all the content right now, it kinda makes sense. And I am confident the ipad2 could be an awesome honeycomb device. With the amount of sales it has had there should be enough interest in that as a project. Enough to give the google all the more reason to hold off on releasing the source code. Dammit..

Nobody will flame you. Its personal preference. Some ppl like changing devices to fit there pref and some choose to use their device as just consuming data. Don't worry. This device will eventually run stable. We just have to wait.
Do you know me? What should you care if I flame you? The only time I would care if you buy an I pad would be if you bought it with MY money.

I don't know if I got a better xoom than most if the people here but I am freaking loving this thing. The screen is beautiful, the white's are actually white, something I have not seen on anything except the Apple devices. I get no lag whatsoever on my home screens after oc'ing to 1.5 governor set at interactive, and the stereo speakers are really nice. I absolutely love this thing. I got a sweet car dock from a dealer in the UK so I can use it as a bad ass head unit in my car, and when its hooked up to my system with great speakers and 2 12's in the trunk it sounds as good or better than my gf's iPhone 5, something I have never found with any other android device, even my inspire with srs sound. Yes, it has some bugs but for what I need it to do it does it wonderful. I am using it as a complete laptop replacement. I am actually thinking of selling my macbook pro. And I think we are not gonna get many people posting here about their gripes with the device because...
1. They want to start their own post for attention/tolling
2. They don't use the search button
3. There is far to much effort for them to actually read through a forum for the appropriate place to post

LMAO, i hate me some trolls, im made this post hoping it would attract them all but i guess i was wrong lol. stupid people. guess they never used a forum before.
I regret buying the Xoom because I should have waited for a tablet that is thinner, lighter, better screen, working micro sd slot, working 4G and has a pen input, a nornal micro usb that is rechargeable, and most importantly can play high profile .mkv 1080p without needing to do any conversion.
How come no company can do it right?
My biggest question is:
How come no European country make any tablets?
If Germany and Italy can create Mercedes, BMW, Farrari and Lamborghini, they can certainly make a measly sub $1,000 tech device.
keep on waiting. wait on, while we enjoy out Xoom. the best thing invented since the internet. Xoom, Xoom, Xoom...
May I offer these words of encouragement to anyone who has bought a Xoom but who hasn't been involved with Android and modded ROMS before?
The out of the box is not overly impressive when compared, as it inevitaly will be, with the iPad. It is disconcerting to have Forced Closes on a device costing what it does as regularly as one does. And there is not much eye-candy included either.
However, the hardware specs are so good that I have little doubt that the Xoom will be the equivalent of the HTC HD2 (which if you don't know started as a Windows Mobile 6 phone, got Froyo and then Gingerbread and now dual boots into Android or Windows Phone 7!) once the developers get their hands on the source code.
Hang onto your Xoom and you will see in the weeks to come that it will get better and better and, instead of having a gadget which is all shiny and cool for the first week and then becomes old news, you will have a gadget that keeps improving as each new ROM is released.
Now that Samsung is faster, thinner, and lighter than the ipad 2, apparently that doesn't matter to steve jobs any more.
Thoughts?

Honestly, isn't it the case now that Jobs isn't spearing the marketing campaign anymore? The commercials lack the douchey weird quality that they had and now almost seem boring, cold. Maybe it's just me...
But yea, when one marketing strategy doesn't work you shift to another.
Ipad 2 strategy up to now has been mostly about speed, weight, size, and to a much lesser extent, apps. Now that the first three are not theirs for much longer, apple is doing damage control marketing to go back on what they said before... Speed, weight, and size are nice... But it's all about the apps... Standard apple douche move.
Sure it sounds bad, but I cannot wait for jobs to die. Then some of the dislike I have for apple might go... But I doubt it.
Haha well I don't Llke Steve jobs either but I don't really want him to die but to each their own I guess haha

Are you serious right now? You want someone to drop dead because they know how to market their products properly? Apple is a business. Business is about money. If you have to bash your competition, and make your product seem like a god compared to all the others, you will do it. Hate him if you will, he knows what he is doing. He is a sleezy business man making millions with a cult like following for his brand. However, his attitude is a major flaw. He doesn't seem like the nicest of people.

Yes, I think jobs is a prick and an elitist arsehole since I became aware of him in the 80ies. It's mostly his personality (snobbish commercials and lack of choice in hardware also) that keep me from giving apple a fair shake when evaluating their products. With him truly out of the picture... The choice in hardware is better...
Like you said, cult of personality. I can't stand cults
Isn't Jobs on medical leave still? Since I haven't read news about "OMG, Steve Jobs is now back and doing well again!" But then again, I don't know the process these big companies go through.
What apple has over any android tablet is availability here the the uk, you can walk into any electronics retailer and buy an ipad, but if you want an android tablet (example asus transformer, acer iconia which are both for sale) 'can i buy one today, over the counter'? no you'll have to order one which takes a week
What's the point of having electrical retailers that don't know what retail means?
The basics of supply and demand
If i wanted to buy online and wait a week i would buy from ebay
In here the Netherlands, you must wait a month to get an ipad2.

PC world have never heard of the Asus transformer, and the iconia is mail order only
Buyitdirect won't have the transformer until may.
On the television news today they're stating that retails sales are lowest for 11 months!! is it hardly surprising. If you read a review about something that's ****, and would spend twice the time being repaired than what you would using it, then we've got loads of those, but if you want something that's remotely decent we don't stock it in store.
Might as well live in outback Botswana
It may be going about it different but usually big corporations tend to try something new if the first doesnt work. I can't blame Steve Job...but then again I'm not a super hardcore wish someone dead for making a ipad commercial android fan.
You can get a vega, xoom and one or two other android tablets at pcworld.

Ahaha, I love how apple, having nothing to show except scaled up iphone apps is forcing into the ad "medical professionals uses of the ipad".
Not only this looks elitist and even colder but it is also completly unappropriate for medical use. I do work into the field of radiology and hell a 1080* res screen is way way way too much fail to look at radios or CT scans. You'd have to zoom in all the time and miss the bigger picture. Another point is also that a iOS device cannot plug into a classic medical environment that is 99% of the times using windows computers or remote servers without even a WIFI connectivity for security reasons.
Too long didn't read : Apple ipad2 makes you a doctor and allows your spoiled children to draw numbers with their fingers while their brain and cerebellous white matter is wiring, so that obviously, they won't even be able to handle a pen later on. Technology is not enough, you just need the smug.

Yea the whole medical app thing is a bit comical to me. I guess it's nice to have, but so what? 99.9% of the people who own an iPad don't buy one for the functionality mentioned there. Apple touted "thinner, lighter, faster" until none of those were true anymore and now it's "all about the apps". Outside of Netflix, there's nothing that it has that I want.
Title Changed
Thread title changed to something a little bit less... aggressive.
While I agree that the commercial is excessive, what marketing isn't. Let's keep it friendly in here, as many users here on XDA also happen to like iPads.

lol, awesome
For a long time I didn't see a reason for me to purchase a tablet. The only use I can think of right now is for me to have more access to my files on a bigger screen via dropbox.
That said, I still reaaaaally want a Xoom, but it's not a good enough reason for me to drop $800+ (Xoom+accessories) since my phone can do the same thing, except on a smaller screen.
Yes, there is the multimedia portion; videos and whatnot but again, what else are tablets used for? I'm not an artist either so the drawing/sketching capabilities do not apply to me.
So hence my question, what do you guys use your tablets for?
Also, do phone applications work on tablets or do tablets have their own set of applications? How is the resolution of the apps if tablets can use the same apps that phones use?
Cheers!
I like this thing, but it's definitely a toy. If I hadn't gotten a great deal on it, I would have been disappointed. Functionality is not what I'd hoped, and browsing the internet is painful at best. I wouldn't dream of using it for serious work. In a few years these will be "useful," but for now it's still just a toy.
It seems like you have your mind made up. I use mines for:
Browsing
YouTube
Gaming
Emulators
Remote Desktop
Texting
Video Editing
Reference
School
Emailing
And a whole bunch of other things. I traded my iPad 2 for it and don't regret it one bit. More appps are coming to Android and are tablet friendly. You can run phone apps also. I haven't even rooted mines yet and if I did the list would be even bigger.

I will admit that text input is hella laggy when typing on forums. I don't know why.

I use mine for several things, but the major thing for which my phone would be completely inadequate is that I teach Bible class on Sunday mornings from my tablet. My tablet is wifi only so I cannot speak for those who can haul theirs with them all the time and get 3g on it.
Generally speaking, Android phone apps will work on an Android tablet. Some apps need to be updated for newer versions of Android, especially Honeycomb, and will force close. Some phone apps will not expand to fill the screen but will only take up a small portion of it. Some apps will fill the screen automatically and the resolution looks fine. Some apps will fill the screen but they look odd. It is a trial and error "test it and see" matter. There are also apps that have be designed or redesigned just for tablets. Most tablet apps will say "for Honeycomb" or "HD" (High Definition) or "for tablets" in their names, but this is not always the case. The Market does have a special section of featured tablet apps and you can find many more by searching on "Honeycomb" or "Tablet."

I actually think browsing the net is the best thing it does. Quick controls and thumb keyboard make it very fast. Use something like pulse and it's a media consumers dream.
I got my 3G Verizon Xoom on eBay for $490 shipped... I wouldn't pay regular price either.
At the end of the day... it IS just a toy, but it is definitely closer to a laptop than the iPad 2 is, I goto the iPad 2 for my wife & she loves it.
Xoom is much more versatile than the iPad 2.
At the end of the day it still seems like it's just an expensive toy as of now...
But I may pick one up tomorrow just to play with it to see if I like it just because I'm kind of a gadget whore. Hahaha
Question, does LauncherPro(Plus) work on tablets or no? Or is there a tablet version of it? I saw some "hands-on" videos on youtube and there seems to be a bit of lag when transitioning between homescreens. Hmmm!
Well I have a post about this. It is not exhaustive but it covers a lot with photos and elaborations.
I am not a random id that do some own ads here but if xda allows html, I will post my original write-up here without hestitation. =)

What do you do with your 10.1 tablet toy??
There is no reason for a tablet. Just buy a laptop. Its half the price and its a better value. I would never drop 800 on a tablet.

Well, you just went beyond what I said when I called it a "toy." Its silly to make statements like this when 1) laptops are not "half the price"; 2) nobody cares how much YOU want to spend on your electronics; and 3) not everyone makes the same uses of their stuff as you do. If you like laptops, that's great. I do too. Tablets are a different form factor and thus have different uses.
Anyways, make your own decisions about what you want to spend your money on, just don't expect it to be anything more than it is.

Agreed, my laptop costed me 3 grand, so I disagree with the comment above yours.
Point of this post was to see if there's any other usages for the tablets that I had not known about. Which does not seem to be the case. I was hoping to have more reasons to justify my purchase (to make myself feel less guilty y'know? )
That said, I may buy it and play around with it to see if I like it and/or will be needing it.
Anyone know if its possible to haggle the price at BestBuy or FutureShop in Canada ?

I admit there really is no reason for a tablet. I've wanted a Xoom since release but wasn't comfortable with paying $800 or signing a contract, so the wifi version came out and I jumped on it.
Now that I have the Xoom, I still don't really know what to do with it. I'm reading books on it, thats cool...it's cool for browsing and what not. I can't justify it's reason for existence other than it's cool.
To summarize;
Paid $600 for Xoom Wifi
Can't figure out what I needed it for
Happy as I hell that I have it
It's gadget porn, thats all.

Ha! Haggling a price at a big-box store? Are you from Europe!
Just kidding, but the answer is a flat "no chance." Nobody at those stores have the authority to change pricing.
A word of advice to you: I'd wait for the second generation devices. The Xoom is a solid early-adopter device, but now that you've managed to avoid it for this long I'd put it off for a few more months while the second-gen devices come out. Cheaper, lighter, and (hopefully) will be supported for longer by google/manufacturer. Then again, if you spent $3k on a laptop (I hope it has a money printer and a grappling hook for that price!) then I'm guessing that you're not too worried about the few hundred dollars it would cost to trade up when you want to.

Tablets are a lot easier to carry around. It's easier to hold while standing up, laying in bed, and kicking back on a couch/recliner/lawn chair. I'm tired of being hunched over a keyboard and mouse. I can rest my head and browse. If I need to do something that my Xoom can't. I can RDP into my PC, or walk to my PC and do what I need to do. Also battery life on my Xoom is just awesome.
I feel tablets are like the consoles vs PC war. Sure PC is superior to consoles in many ways, but in my opinion, it can't beat picking up the controller and relaxing on the recliner playing a game. Same sense, I can just pick my tablet up and browse.
I have no laptop nor netbook. So I bought the Xoom.
Yes it is a toy, but using it while lazing on the bed/couch is so comfortable.
Web browsing comes first to mind. Though it won't be as full featured as using the desktop but normal web surfing works very well and using your fingers instead of a mouse to navigate websites makes so much sense.
Next would be ebook reading. Seriously, if you read your books and you have no ebook reader then using your tablet as a book is a must. It has pretty much replaced my normal paperback reading. And best thing is it's pretty easy to just sideload tons of free ebooks into the Xoom for your viewing pleasure anytime.
And finally gaming. Just to pass the time. I pretty much stopped gaming on my nexus one because well, playing games on a 10.1" screen is just so much better.
Just buy the xoom at a Costco/sams club for you can return it after two months.
I plan on doing that so if new generation devices come out then I will just swap it out.
Right now i dont see the need for a tablet, although im envious of the people that do have them. But i just dont see the need for it at the moment, i just recently got a brand spankin new huge 25" all-in-one pc for less then that of the Xoom. As of now the Xoom isn't for me but i have my sights set on the Galaxy 10.1
Just placed pre-order for the Amazon tablet. Don't know if it will replace my galaxy tab but for $200 the Amazon tablet looks like a good deal. Also I like the 7 inch better than the 10. I think this will force all others to seriously think about their tablet pricing.
What are your thoughts?

HPs firesale was evidence that pricing can be king outside of the iOS ecosystem, Im personally not interested in one, but I do like the pricing, it could put pressure on other OEMs to drop their prices, look at RIM there are starting to move more playbooks since they are starting to price cut
This also goes to show you how big of a mark up these things have
I just preordered mine as well. I'm crossing my fingers that this thing has bluetooth. Otherwise no external keyboard.

No bluetooth. Complete specs at the Amazon Landing Page.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0051VVOB2/ref=tsm_1_bl_aw?tag=vglnk-c1655-20
But it does have USB 2.0, so you could plug in a Bluetooth adapter. Potential issue: battery life issues from adapter.

Depending on the chipset used, it might have latent bluetooth, just like the Nook Color.
Doesn't look like it has a SD slot either. With just 8Gb storage a few movies etc will fill that up.

There are two considerations I take in above all else these days when I consider a purchase, especially for phone/smaller computing devices.
1. Price to performance (lets be real, tablets are *finally* getting out of over priced stage.)
2. What the support here at XDA is going to be like.
I can handle getting a "mid ranged" device if the price is right.
IF there are enough tweaks, roms, and third party support.
A "Cheap" and "Midranged" tablet can go toe to toe with the best of them.
*if* I consider a tablet.. the lenovo A1 and Amazon Kindle Fire are going to be on the top of the list, because I am suspecting I'll see strong support on both.
Then again, being able to "reverse" whatever I do is also important.

I definitely think there will be lot of dev support for kindle fire given the price point.

Ah! I see. Good point.
The Nook has "latent Bluetooth" but no antenna so it's not very useful.
The new Kindle looks nice, but no 3G/4G (yet). If they do offer it with mobile data it will probably be locked to one carrier. That and being stuck with Amazon's app store makes it a non-starter for me. I'll stick with my old Galaxy 7" for non-home use for now.

Not quite true.
I'm not impressed what amazon did. Combine their services with good hardware and "real" Android Honeycomb/ice cream sandwich and they might have a winner.
But with this, medium hardware (RAM, int storage, display resolution), missing components, a bit heavy, depends on cyanogen mod to get a real taste of Android, I'm not sure. I see little more than a new Nook color.
With the support of the amazon services like music, video and appstore (since there is no market at least at the beginning) it might be interesting for some people. But for me the 7.7 seems like a much better choice if you look for something smaller than 10.1 or 8.9, even if it costs twice as much.

Price is the key though, look what the recent HP firesale did, this will be a mass product aimed at those wanting their first fray into tablets, other manufacturers will need to take note if they want their product to sell. At the way the current global financial state is in Amazon have got a winner here.

Damn for $199, I'd love to buy it.
Does anyone know if true Android can be hacked or developed for the Kindle fire? It's android based but it doesn't run honeycomb or anything.
I know the Blackberry playbook you cant but that's cause it's RIM software and their security stuff.
It'd be cool if there was a lot of support for it and you can flash all different kinds of ROMs and stuff.

I think Amazon tablet will be locked to start with since it is running Amazon's customized Android. We will only know for sure when this is released.
But I think as usual developers will eventually crack it open.

What do HP touchpad firesale and every china tablet in common (other that the 99$ price tag)? You buy the thing, get frustrated that it doesn't do what you expected and you get a "real" tablet. We have a saying here, if you buy cheap you end up paying twice.
I'm not arguing that it won't sell,it will probably sell pretty good. but I'm saying it's not what it could've been. And I don't think 199$ is particularly cheap for that tablet. It's a good price but not really cheap considering what you give up.
And don't forget everyone who has no access to the amazon services like video and cloud music, which is half of europe. They would get even less out of it but I don't think that it'll be available here.
I think it takes more than a good price to make a winner.
But I don't think amazon really wants to play the tablet game. They want to give you an easier way to subscribe to and consume their content and that's what they can archive with the kindle fire.
I'll wait for the "Fire" app to show up. You know Amazon is going offer one before long.

I would think it would be more something like "Amazon Portal" that would manage all your Kindle, MP3, Amazon App store, etc on a non-Kindle device.

I'm sure it can be cracked in one way or another. OMAP4 is something a lot of devs have experience with, and I doubt they're deviating much from the components we keep seeing on other platforms.
I'd like to believe that this will be as easy to root as the Nook Color, but given that Amazon has been playing cat-and-mouse with hackers and the older Kindles, I doubt it. Amazon didn't preen their own app store for the last year for nothing, and that's only one content channel they want to own. An open platform means most people will probably install the default Google Market and avoid Amazon's store altogether. The OMAP has some security features in the same vein as the Tegra2, and I'd be surprised if it's not as locked down as the Atrix was before the unlockable bootloader.
That being said, there's a nice tool out there for booting a kernel/ramdisk (read:recovery) OMAP4 over USB, so should Amazon decide to have a change of heart it will be a quick test to tell if the boot process is as easy to hijack as the Nook.
Why not just buy a Galaxy Tab 7" WiFi? Or a used 3g/carrier-branded version on Craigslist. Both can be had for about the same prices as the K-Fire, and they're a whole lot more functional.
Sure, it's single core, but it's single core Hummingbird/SGX540, which is still pretty competitive with the chipset in the PlayKindleBookFire, especially in relation to graphics.
It's also lighter, has a LOT more functionality (GPS, Bluetooth, light sensor, microphone, etc.). And, it's not locked down to the Amazon infrastructure, and has a pretty good XDA community already.
You can still use the Kindle app, but you can also read ePubs, use Google Music, Netflix, etc.

Just a quick on. Would you devs and general hackers be interested in cheaper alternitive?
Same specs just won't look as nice. and probably only do HDMI out instead of speaker outputs. Also made in china to drive down the cost.
Im in the process of getting a prototype worked up.
Anybody interested?
Here is a question for you.
Would you be happy to buy it at cost price or a slightly inflated price where I could then send free devices to developers?
I do not wish nor want to make money on this product.
sounds good

yeah big time but its gotta really hit the price point of a google TV to be logical...
`
what price point are you aiming for?
Sub-$100, I would be interested.
Hoping for sub $200 but I will try and drive the price down as low as I can. It will have the same CPU/GPU as the Nexus Q and if possible same WiFi Bluetooth and NFC chip to avoid and driver issues when you great developers do a straight up port.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
yeah it would need to run the same components. i don't see devs going out and buying the model that is basically a knock off and supporting it (no offence, i would love your knock off version). I would be curious as to if removing the amp would mess that kinda stuff up? i suggest you talk with devs first and see. I feel as if the amp is a lackluster, and extra cost feature not really needed as buying a external sound system is cheap these days.
all in all i love your idea and would like more updates on where your at!
thanks!
The product was never designed to be a knock off of the Nexus Q. It just so happens that they have the same basic hardware. This device was intended to be a Android Media Player that was running crap hardware. I watched I/O and seen the beautiful device and after looking at it realised its the same CPU/GPU and the idea sprung to mind. I don't want to market it as a knock off Nexus Q but a Android Media player with hack-ability that can if you so wish, pretend to be a Nexus Q in terms of software.
sorry didnt mean to knock you like that saying "knock off" haha that has a bad sense that comes with it. let me rephrase. if you could produce a device that would run the exact same software, Dev ports as well, i would snatch that up in a heartbeat as i feel the development on the Q will be greater with google pumping out 6,000 of these devices to devs at I/O.
are you thinking of starting a kickstarter? if you plan to jump into anything like that please post the link so i can check it all out!
If you need someone to bounce ideas off of im open to comment and try to help. im an aspiring dual major in CGT and entrepreneurial class so if you wanted some models or business ideas im down to talk.
Quick update on the price point. I think it will be impossible to do this for sub $100. The processor in the device itself is costing $60 alone.

cant work on mass orders at lower cost? that seems high but i guess i could be wrong =P
I think two versions could have some success:
1. Basically same parts, exact clone except the design and maybe the lack of an amp and fancy leds. Basically you can run the same Rom without any bigger Modifications. At least 30% cheaper.
2. Heavily striped down version with another soc, no nfc, maybe even no bt. Just hdmi, mains and audio. Allwinner A10 comes into mind. Pricetag under ~$90.
The Tegra3 is rumored to cost $25 in the Nexus 7, if you can get descent quantity order i think the omap should be in that price range too.
Currently my order is only 1000 orders. Because I have to way to guarantee I can even move that amount! Currently working on a kickstarter style project page.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Definitely interested in an open alternative to the Q.
You should definitely try Kickstarter for this. You should be able to get a large order to drive down the price if its popular enough
I am not sure what market you are targeting with your planned android media player.
With a built in speaker amp, the Nexus Q differentiates itself from the pack. As such, it can compete in the Sonos type markets, and in markets like all of the "iPod Docks" that you see littered in cubicles everywhere. Considering Sonos charges $350+ and Bose charges $250+, the Q can be considered somewhat competitive, considering it's Made in America status.
By removing the amp, now you are turning it into a Google TV / Apple TV / Roku / WDTV Live / etc competitor. This is a very intense market, and if you can't get the made in china price under $100, I think it will be hard to compete. (And there are already small / cheap devices that plug into a TV: http://www.theverge.com/2012/5/18/3028202/mk802-android-usb-hdmi-stick )
As I said the CPU im looking at $60 before shipping. I plan to sell the the device at cost + shipping. Their is a kickstarter page coming (Not actually kickstarter as im not in the US)
The AMP is of no use to me as the device would go into my current setup.
Also being almost deaf I personally have no use for it
How's this coming out???!?! I'd like to see where this goes I'm interested

I'm well aware QUYA? Has absolutely smashed their target and probably any chance this device would take off. However if OK able to get enough interest I can order in numbers where I the cost is low enough. In the mean time I'm waiting on some renders before I publish a crowd source funded page.
