I was wondering is it possible to permabrick u8800pro?
I made alot of mistekes with it, and always revived it. So maybe someone done that, and want to share the story?

I don't know if anyone really knows how to do this. Up until now, we have only been trying to un-brick our phones, but we never thought about actually bricking it on purpose.
As long as the hardware is fine, it cannot be permanently bricked! Because you would only have to install the android and everything starts working again.
In my opinion, I don't think this is even possible. But, wait until others have come up with things.
By the way, why would you even want to brick your phone in the first place?
There is no reason a person would want to purposely brick their own device unless it was for insurance fraud. With that being said threads like these are not allowed on Xda. Please refrain from creating one in the future

meh. just let the noobs brick their phones. just means more phones sold right? they will all have to replace their phones, and if they cant afford it. well they are probably better off without it....
Rejoice! Had to" continue to wait!
Please let us know how you brick your N7000 on the way to LPY or LPF. Thanks.

No problem
I did it too when i first came to XDA
How most people brick ther Note is not reading first post and instuctions. FLAB man i call them Flashing Like A Blind man
UNBRICKED
I too bricked my phone but after reading this guide (ABD wouldn't recognise my device so I couldn't follow it) I understood the partitions had become messed up.
I read somewhere about the PIT files.
I ODINed the ABYSS Kernal and PIT (Q1_20110914_16GB-patched) for my 16gb n7000 ticked the repartition box. It booted into CWM recovery and I used the restore and bingo.
Hi guys. I am noob so please excuse my ignorance. I want to send my phone to warranty but unfortunately i need to install a backup of my original rom 3.4.2-179.6 but i lost it. Could any of you point me to a tutorial how to build a nandroid from sbf?
Thanks in advance
whay dont you put the 3.4.2-179.sbf file format?
search it here
i would like to but i cant as i already flashed full gb sbf 2.3.6, but thanks anyway

I'm really glad we have a dev in EU ( or close enough ), my hopes for CM for the S4 mini were very low as the S3 Mini didn't get any love.
Big ups arco!
in his g+ account there is a screenshot of cm10.2 thats great, i hope dual sim users could get it too

the board name of the GT-I9195 like aries for the s1
Perhaps a noob question. Howver, can those files be flashed or something?
you need a little experiance and knowledge to do this.....
otherwise you can bricke your device
bricke = damaged, dead, no funktion any more, only use as a hammer or a brick in a wall....

used to have a HTC bravo, some knowledge available. Flashing the HTC only required root and a custom recovery. The ROMs came as a zip file which could be flashed via the recovery. Is the procedure similar and we just have to be patient until a zip file is created?

this is only the source code, if its ready you can compile it eather your self or download the rom, made by the dev but its useless to download these files if you dont know how to create a rom
so i guess we have to be patient until the rom is available?!

Maybe it'll work if we put the necessary files from stock rom (extracted from .tar file) in the flashable zip. Someone has to test that.

No, i didnt see that untill you point me!
Thanks!
and this becouse @YuZaGa dont mention me
this is a good way to update or downgrade the firmware(no need ODIN) but what i test 'till now, dont work
the TWRP just dont want to write the neded partitions for upgrade.
i tested the script from miui(miui has a script for firmware -upgrade) too and the same result "nothing changed"
i will try to add lines in script for mounting every partitions, one by one maybe this will work
Thanks! again for you mention me for this, but how i sed all the time i'm not a developper, just a porter
so please dont espect to me to do miracles
becouse this will be a "miracle"

I kind of did mention but got your name wrong.
This works for lenovo a6000 and a6000+.
And this works for other phones also. Initially I was scared that I may end up doing some harm to the bootloader. And that's why I never went ahead.
Since TWRP is working on both mm and lp bootloader this makes are task much easier. I also saw a samsung device being upgraded like this. Shall I give the link??
