I don't know how it happened but I think it was while i was downloading an app, but which app I don't know. I am running 2.1 on my streak which i just got. Anyone got a solution or facing the same problem?

Nothing so far.. Someone will have to get PIA to tells us how to get it going since other VPN's are working.... Check the comments here: http://www.vpntips.com/fire-tv-vpn-install/
And Root will probably be required no matter which vpn you use.
I've actually been looking for privateinternetaccess to work since I first received the Fire TV. I haven't been able to get it going yet, but I'm hoping someone else may finally get it working!
Only way I am aware of would be to run the VPN on the router....

Yup that's the only way it'll work. You have to put ddwrt on your router and set up the PIA VPN there.

Adblocker is most likely your problem. Can't tell you more without more information. Is it every link or just a specific link?
This happens every link i tried on diffrent browsers nothing maybe the link is dead for real is it someting or the link cant load anymore
I just started experiencing the same issue on XDA links last week too and it has now spread to links on other sites. I normally use AdAway but even after disabling and rebooting the links do not work in Chrome or Firefox on my phone. Using the XDA app seems to work as a workaround but the redirect.viglink issue is still puzzling. Did you find a fix?
Is anyone else having issues with torrents? I use flud paid, and it's not working on OP5. Tried others, no go

I've been using Blokada for some time now and it works great for me. It works for both wifi and mobile data.
