Are you running an adblocker? What browser are you using?

Yes, adAway chrome, dolphins and stock

Adblocker is most likely your problem. Can't tell you more without more information. Is it every link or just a specific link?

This happens every link i tried on diffrent browsers nothing maybe the link is dead for real is it someting or the link cant load anymore

I just started experiencing the same issue on XDA links last week too and it has now spread to links on other sites. I normally use AdAway but even after disabling and rebooting the links do not work in Chrome or Firefox on my phone. Using the XDA app seems to work as a workaround but the redirect.viglink issue is still puzzling. Did you find a fix?

Can't download apps from the Marketplace

Since I updated to the new Orange .66 ROM earlier today, I can't download any apps from the marketplace.
I try and then the download just hangs saying 'Starting download' as does nothing. I've left it 'downloading' for ages but it didn't do a thing.
I can search the marketplace etc but just can't download.
Any idea?
Checked all of my data connections, everything is fine, exchange emails are coming through. Even tried it with WiFi enabled and connected.
It's driving me mad as I updated the ROM using the RUU installer which wipes everything on your phone. I now can't download the apps I need.
Sorted. Everything suddenly came back to life without me doing anything. Must have just been a minor blip for a couple of hours
It's a quite normal problem many users are experiencing. The usual fix is in fact to log in on the Gtalk app (believe it or not)
I'm using stock rom and have the same problem.

So you open Gtalk and then the downloads should start or do you have to stay in Gtalk until they're done downloading? I tried opening it and then going back to the Market Downloads and they hadn't started yet.

Strange behavior with browser "back" button

I wasn't sure where to post this as it's kind of an odd problem.
With the default browser I am suddenly getting strange behavior with the back button... instead of going back a page in the history, it is jumping to the top of the page, or seemingly refreshing the page.
It did used to work fine, and this started after I rooted (although I have no idea what may have caused it).
I guess I am trying to find out if it is a known issue, or if anyone else may have experienced this.
Thanks.

Ok, great... weird that it's a kernel issue, but I'm happy that you were able to help me identify it. Thanks!
Is this the kernel you used to fix the issue? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1109630
Also, I'm running Prime 1.4... have you reported the issue and fix in that thread? If not, I can mention it.
Thanks again.

Oh really? I've been having this problem and figured it was just a bug in the browser. I'll try the kernel to see if it fixes it.
Update: Oh wow, it works now, interesting.
it's happening across multiple devices. my gt10.1 just started doing it as well as my transformer. both at about the same time. so either some setting that i can't find was synced or it's just coincidence that both are getting weird on me at the same time.
nice to know that a custom kernel will the problems on both.
For me it only does this on the xda forums...every other site ive been to so far has worked normally.

same kernel didn't help me, still can't use back key and this is both stock and dolphin browser.
Opera work great.

Yeah, keyboard lag/misbehavior is frustrating wih the default browser. Opera is somewhat better. I'll try Firefox next.

Was yours also working ok before rooting?
This has been a rather annoying issue for me since 2.1.
However, it only happens while a page is loading. If you stop the page loading before hitting back it won't do it.

it was working before root yes, it was working after prime 1.4 was first flashed.
i try going back to stock kernel with no luck

Switching the theme under user CP in xda to xda classic fixed the problem for me. Strange issue for sure.

Gonna have to keep that in mind. Sites like Yahoo and CNN give me the same problems however. Only Opera work like it should, maybe something with flash?
Just flashed Prime v1.5 and it's working like it should.
Gonna flash a custom kernel to see what happen.
Ok, the problem returned, using kernel 13. I think its not quite as simple as a kernel issue.

Wikipedia on Chrome and Browser Problem

Hey everyone.
I have been looking for a solution to this problem for ages without finding a solution.
The problem is that when you go to chrome or browser in Quarx CM9, then go to a wikipedia page, it goes to a meta site saying the wiki is unavailable etc. When you click browse in desktop mode, it goes to a broken page, which is still readable, but I wish it wouldnt do this, as I use wikipedia frequently.
Hopefully we can find a solution!
Thanks!
Use opera...i dont have any issues with it. Stock browser and chrome seem to have certain issues still persisting.

Play store download problems

Hello! My play store takes quite some time to start downloading any app or app update. It just sits there saying downloading while the bar flashes left to right. Is this normal? I've tried clearing app data and relogging my google account and it all doesn't help. I hardly ever get replies on this thing but itd be nice if someone could give me something.
How long are you talking about? for me it takes about 5 seconds tops, not more.
Same issue here. I think it's synchronization related or Gapps. When i reboot my device and than wait 30 seconds, open store again then I'm to able to download Apps again.
Like to know a solution as well... :crying:

Any ad-blockers running? I'm using a virtual hosts file with Steven Black's hosts and I need to disable it when updating or dling from the Store.
I get an issue where if I am on mobile data the app won't download. If I switch to wifi it will start downloading.
I stop the google playstore app and it'll starting working again on mobile data for a bit then break again

Depending on the entries in the hosts file you're using, it could. Disable it and see if you have the same issue.

Its just a bummer because it feels like the internet hands everywhere on my phone but my computer is so much faster. Its not a slow connection either it just feels like my phone gets clogged up or something
Figured it out! Its just oxygenos. I'm on aosp right now and it works perfectly. I can download my stuff from the play store with my ad blocker. The issues i had with wifi are gone on aosp.

Adguard HTTPS filtering on Android Q

Anyone know how to get this working? I have a lifetime license and the app has basically become useless on Official Android Q because installing the HTTPS filter crashes the installer. Any ideas or help would be great. Thanks everyone.
