Sorry guys I am pretty new into this.
I download JDK, Android SDK...
I have the driver from Acer (piece of stupid 89Mb...?)
When I try to use ADB I get a message saying that can connect.
I suspect USB Driver.
Somebody could explain me the ABC of USB driver on Acer... ?
thanks
You really should add some more information. Which OS are you using? 32 or 64 bit? Did u enable ADB in your device's settings?
Sent from my A500 using Tapatalk
It should be a fairly quick and easy affair.
Connect the tab using the supplied mini-usb->usb cable. Run the SDK and you can either run adb.exe or go right into the command prompt and navigate to your SDK install directory and into the folder where ADB is and run it from there.
Check to see if the device is connected: adb devices
If its not finding it then you'll have to trouble shoot from the SDK site. For me, I didn't have to configure anything, it just worked.
Windows 7 x64
did you unzip the driver file you downloaded from acer and then install it. dont mean to insult your intelligence in anyway. but i have seen people download the driver and never install it.
Sent from my A500 using XDA Premium App
I had this problem too. Win7 64 bit. I had to do the following:
Download the USB drive from Acer's site
Restart (may not be necessary)
Connect my A500
Windows reported a failed driver installation so I went into the Device Manager and manually selected a drive from the ADB drivers within Windows.
Thanks for answers. It did not solve the problem yet.
I have the Acer driver. No problem (and unzipped). Installed, ok looking in control panel
I have a microsoft driver ??? 6.1.7600.16385, signed by windows.
In description it is MTP driver
In fact I can not install the ACER driver.
I have win7 64 pro, french, original license.
It seems during the installation of acer drive, the exe starts another program; and the new one says that there is no installed version of acer iconia tab driver... then everything closes.
Has anybody a light version of the driver (can not understand this stupid 90mb) ?
thanks
Hi Guys,
I need some help with my Xperia10. I cannot install any apk's. I have downloaded an apk installer & when it runs it tells me my phone isn't connected to my PC although it is.
I can connect to my phone with the desktop software easily and have a look at the sd card contents, but if I exit that software & make sure it's not running in the background, I still cannot get any installer to "see my" phone.
I have followed instructions on how to connect properly which I got from this forum but no joy whatsover.
I also have a similar problem with a tablet, which is running Android 2.3 ( sorry to admins to mention it here but I can't find my tablet in any of your links) the PC doesn't see that either.
I have downloaded & installed various usb drivers in case that's the problem, but again nothing.
My PC is running Win7 build 7601, 4gb memory, intel 2.8 dual core.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards
Hi,
I'm not sure i understand well your pb but in case :
To install non-market apk, you have to go in SETTINGS/APPLICATIONS and tick "Unknown sources"...
Also, take a tour in SETTING/APPLICATIONS/DEVELOPPEMENT and tick "USB debog"
Now, you are able to install apk from other sources than market...
When you connect your phone to your computer, you must have a look to your phone... slide the notification bar and press on "connect the sd card"...
I hope it helps...
The only K1 Ideapad sync software Lenovo is offering now requires Windows 7 (basically throwing me and millions of other Windows XP users over a cliff) so forgive me if I sound a little paranoid . . . I need LETOOLS in some form of permanent file so I no longer have to be at the mercy of Lenovo.
I have no idea if this is a Windows program -or- a Google Play live install that runs on my K1 Ideapad, I just know that if I don't nail down a hard copy of it somewhere it's apparent Lenovo doesn't give a good goddamn about me and perfectly content to watch me go begging. Please, could someone help me? If it isn't too big, could someone . . . I don't know, post it here? offer it on another site?
And again, I've never manually installed a program to my K1. If LETOOLS is an Android program I'll need help understanding how to get it into my Ideapad! Thanks guys. Just really infuriating . . .

Try this link
Hey rurocking, thank you for that link. Could you help me hunt down two more files that I need which are apparently not components of LETOOLS? They are:
LETOOLS.APK
LENOVO MOBILE DEVICE DRIVERS
I was certain the apk would be packed in the LETOOLS download but I can't find it anywhere. And I give up trying to locate the "Lenovo Mobile Device Drivers" that LETOOLS is prompting me I have to have installed before LET can proceed to install. What a nightmare! :cyclops: Help!

Here's where to find the download. I would post the link for you, but i'm facing restrictions based on not having ever posted anything on this website.
Google "Lenovo Support Downloads page"
In the next menu, select IdeaPad K Series Tablet, followed by All Machine Types, then scroll down to Windows 7.
Under the Software, You will see Synchronization Software for Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) - IdeaPad Tablet K1.
to find the letools.apk, use 7zip and extract the following \LeTools_MultiLang_x86_x64_Full_setup_20320.exe\LeTools_MultiLang.msi\contents.cab\

Anyone know what to do? How to install them? Or how to flash my tablet...
Thanks for any help
And sorry for my english Hope u understood me
As I have noticed there are two kinds of USB drivers for this tablet.
Strange enough I need one kind for installation under WinXP and other kind for installation under 64bit Win7 (they were not interchangable!).
In driver's folders "amd64" and "i386" they both have the same content, but they totally differ in driver's root folder.
One has only "NvidiaUsb.inf" and the other has: androidwinusb86.cat, androidwinusba64.cat, android_winusb.inf and source.properties.
I know I got one from MoDaCo: http://www.modaco.com/topic/331467-...-rom-for-the-advent-vega-with-online-kitchen/
Or if you don't want to download that 97MB file you have here only the needed zip file: http://www.wuala.com/Cosmichyrax/Programas/ANDROID/r1-tegrausbdrivers-modaco.zip/
And the other from this site (it's the site for my POV tablet):
http://downloads.pointofview-online.com/Drivers/10 inch Tablet PC Firmware TAB-TEGRA-10-1 upgrade/
And the needed file is called "Tegra Tab 10 USB Driver.zip".
Both links found thru Google!

Have you tried AUDI?
Has anyone tried the Pipo W4S? I've been wanting to try one of these dual boot tablets, but I personally wouldn't want to touch one unless it's got at least 64GB of storage otherwise the two OS's will just take up too much of the 32GB space. I suppose I could get the Teclast x98 Air 3G, but for 64GB it's pretty expensive compared with this.
It looks like it may be a spiritual successor to the Pipo W3, just updated with more storage and dual boot.
Yes i got one, nice tablet over all. But space distribution is not ok. For android 4.4.4 - 8gb, ~4.7gb free. Rest is for windows ~46gb free.
I have managed to resize android and windows partitions. Android now have 37gb, rest is for windows. Also android on this tablet comes without google services, so you wont have play store and all google apps. In the end managet to install them by hands to system partition only after i got root on it.
Hi, I’ve just bought this tablet. Could you coach me how I can root it and install Google Play? Thanks.
