Where can I download LETOOLS in some form of permanent file? - Thinkpad Tablet General

The only K1 Ideapad sync software Lenovo is offering now requires Windows 7 (basically throwing me and millions of other Windows XP users over a cliff) so forgive me if I sound a little paranoid . . . I need LETOOLS in some form of permanent file so I no longer have to be at the mercy of Lenovo.
I have no idea if this is a Windows program -or- a Google Play live install that runs on my K1 Ideapad, I just know that if I don't nail down a hard copy of it somewhere it's apparent Lenovo doesn't give a good goddamn about me and perfectly content to watch me go begging. Please, could someone help me? If it isn't too big, could someone . . . I don't know, post it here? offer it on another site?
And again, I've never manually installed a program to my K1. If LETOOLS is an Android program I'll need help understanding how to get it into my Ideapad! Thanks guys. Just really infuriating . . .

Hey rurocking, thank you for that link. Could you help me hunt down two more files that I need which are apparently not components of LETOOLS? They are:
LETOOLS.APK
LENOVO MOBILE DEVICE DRIVERS
I was certain the apk would be packed in the LETOOLS download but I can't find it anywhere. And I give up trying to locate the "Lenovo Mobile Device Drivers" that LETOOLS is prompting me I have to have installed before LET can proceed to install. What a nightmare! :cyclops: Help!

Here's where to find the download. I would post the link for you, but i'm facing restrictions based on not having ever posted anything on this website.
Google "Lenovo Support Downloads page"
In the next menu, select IdeaPad K Series Tablet, followed by All Machine Types, then scroll down to Windows 7.
Under the Software, You will see Synchronization Software for Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) - IdeaPad Tablet K1.
to find the letools.apk, use 7zip and extract the following \LeTools_MultiLang_x86_x64_Full_setup_20320.exe\LeTools_MultiLang.msi\contents.cab\

Vega clone USB drivers problem (and bootloop)

Ok so i was running Vegabean beta6 on my ntt smartbook pad umts but it didn't work well so i thought ill install CM10.1 Build 15 rom.
And now im stuck on bootloop. After couple hours i have finally get into nvflash mode. But the real problem is that i can't install drivers.
Im runing on win 8 32bit and its still saying "unknown device"
I tried to install it manually, (Device manager-> Update software drivers -> pick path -> tegra tab 10 usb drivers)
But i keep geting "Windows can't install device 'Unknown device' "
I tried also this http://www.craftedge.com/tutorials/driver_install_windows8/driver_install_win8.html
But it didnt help, still have the same information.
Anyone know what to do? How to install them? Or how to flash my tablet...
Thanks for any help
And sorry for my english Hope u understood me
As I have noticed there are two kinds of USB drivers for this tablet.
Strange enough I need one kind for installation under WinXP and other kind for installation under 64bit Win7 (they were not interchangable!).
In driver's folders "amd64" and "i386" they both have the same content, but they totally differ in driver's root folder.
One has only "NvidiaUsb.inf" and the other has: androidwinusb86.cat, androidwinusba64.cat, android_winusb.inf and source.properties.
I know I got one from MoDaCo: http://www.modaco.com/topic/331467-...-rom-for-the-advent-vega-with-online-kitchen/
Or if you don't want to download that 97MB file you have here only the needed zip file: http://www.wuala.com/Cosmichyrax/Programas/ANDROID/r1-tegrausbdrivers-modaco.zip/
And the other from this site (it's the site for my POV tablet):
http://downloads.pointofview-online.com/Drivers/10 inch Tablet PC Firmware TAB-TEGRA-10-1 upgrade/
And the needed file is called "Tegra Tab 10 USB Driver.zip".
Both links found thru Google!

[Q] PC can't find my "Find"

Hello all!
I just aquired a Find 5 and found it to be Rooted with PacRom installed. When I plugged it into my Windows 8 PC via the OEM cable, I couldn't get it to be recognized. I've downloaded drivers from Oppo and tried a few other suggestions in the Find 5 section here, but I can't seem to get the two to talk to each other. Does anyone have any instructions or help for me to get a connection? I'm at my wits end here.
Thanks in advance!
Update: Okay, it will acknowledge that it's present when I go into "Control Pannel>Device Manager", but I still can't transfer any files to or from it. What's the remaining piece of the puzzle I'm missing?

I had the same problem and the solution for me was to download the Google driver with its SDK Manager and install manually the drivers from the Device Manager window... but I'm on a Windows 7!!!

Huawei Ascend W1 & Windows Phone 8.1 = it works!

Hello all you consumers and developers,
As you may or may not know, everyone trying to update to Windows Phone 8.1 via the Developer Preview got the dreaded 80183309 error, which means "The update was download, but couldn't be opened".
I took a risk and installed the Russian ROM people were talking about at the Microsoft Community and check the post by FedorMaslak - translation required Russian - English) on page 43.
Here is how you do it:
Step one - Flash the ROM using the tools in the forum entry above.
Step two - Download General Distribution Release 2 (GDR2) OTA via phone update
Step three - Download Preview for Developers
Step four - Activate the Preview for Developers and install GDR3.
Step five - Once installed, you will see Update 1/2 installing on your device, this is for preparation for WP8.1
Step six - Check for updates and Windows Phone 8.1 will install!
I have made a video with WP8.1 running on the Huawei Ascend W1, which is available by searching RYANODONNELLUKF on YouTube.
(Sorry, XDA-Developers wouldn't let me post outside links...)
What tool?

We have too successfully update Huawei W1 OS to Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for Developer.

thank you for the link, but i've tried to flash my phone following the steps. The first step it's ok, but when i try to launch the file wp8cruu.exe gives me the following error: "Cannot open device "Qualcomm MMC Storage USB Device" Error 109. So i thought to install directly the 8.1 but for installa this rom i need the .app file of the rom. If do you know a method to install directly the rom without the extension .app, please tell me. Sorry for my english and thank you for the support.
I finally resolved doing the procedure in another computer with windows 8.1 64 bit. Befor i've used windows 7 64bit and in the second step was impossible to continue. Thank you again for the support.

Yoga Book C930: Missing Keyboard Blobs

Hi,
I have just wiped the Windows 10 O/S from my Yoga Book C930, installed Windows 10 Enterprise, then all the Lenovo drivers. All good, once I've installed the E-Ink SDK, the E-Ink display and features started working. One problem - I cannot change the keyboard style (Classic / Modern), as the downloaded drivers are missing some files. By monitoring the Windows APIs, it became apparent that the keyboard settings app tries to open the layout files from C:\Program Files\Lenovo\KeyboardBlob\* (for example, C:\Program Files\Lenovo\KeyboardBlob\1033_MDRN_V_3D.bin.cap).
I would kindly ask the C930 owners to help me with this - if anybody could share a ZIP with the content of the C:\Program Files\Lenovo\KeyboardBlob folder, it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I am left with calling Lenovo support and this can take ages ...
BTW, for this model Lenovo does NOT provide recovery media (not eligible???).
Thanks,
CE
