Well no, other site`s etc are just bundling a phone and a contract together and are sim free.

Expansys can be so overpriced. It's a very offputting website.

Better deal than what orange are supposed to be offering. other sites are putting there prices up already

It's in-stock on the UK website, but the USA website is awaiting shipment next week around the 12th or 13th from the UK wharehouse.

I telephoned Expansys at 2.30pm today, UK time, and they said NOT in stock, expected tomorrow.
So I bought from Clove, delivery tomorrow

Phoned CPW today whilst at work. They said it's not even loaded on their system.
Although it was obvious, when I raised the prospect of upgrading through them but them getting the Touch HD from their mobiles.co.uk partner, they said no.

It's in their new catalogue for November, so hopefully soon.

I ordered mine from Clove, UK. I live in the US. They shipped mine yesterday and It already came to the US and got stuck in the Customs for clearance. I was hoping to get it today... But I guess I will not get it until Monday or Tuesday now....
I HATE this waiting... so close, yet not in hand.

I received a email comfirming from expansys that they have shipped my Touch HD, looking at the tracking status I will be receving this early morning tomorrow...... Man can't wait any longer it been month since I pre-order my touch HD

Okay yesterday I attempted an order from Expansys. Now on the website it looked as if they had more then enough in stock. After placing my order and validating credit card shipping stuff, I found out from their customer service that most of the first shipment went to back orders. So now I'm stuck waiting for the next shipment which can be from Friday til another week or two.
So I ask....Where can I order this device from and plan to get it by this Saturday ... MN USA? Again, If I was to order it right now somewhere ... where would it be that will gurantee arrival before this weekend?

ellloooo has any one got one from dell yet i ordered mine last Thursday and they estimate delivery around the 21st why so long i don't know,just wondering if anyone has one from there because i hope its unlocked Sim free like they state on there website

I got one from car phone wharehouse first but sent it back because they said it was unlocked but it was not.
I feel sick now you have just told me that,i have just gone to their website and went through the order as if i was buying one and it says nothing about them being out of stock .

I tried one at my friendly local CPW and it was locked to O2 - bit of a cheek for a device that's listed as SIM-free...
I've found Dell's delivery dates to be pretty good, so here's hoping for the 19th...

You need a discount code from your Dell Account manager then you can ring the EPP hotline and order at the discounted price... normally its a 3% discount but the Streak is an extra 7% off until July 31st... As far as I'm aware the discount is available to employees of any company with a corporate account at Dell, including NHS, Local Govt., etc.
EPP phone number is 0870 907 5683 (although I was re-directed to a different number today)

Looks like they pluck the delivery date out of the air i hate waiting

I ordered 29th of June and my EDD was 19th July but yesterday they called me to tell that they are out of stock. After that phone call I noticed that my order was cancelled. Of course I contacted their live chat to ask what is going on and they apologised and asked if I remember who called me but I did not remember the name. After that they called me back to confirm new order so my new order is 5th July and delivery date is still 19th July but when I asked when it will be delivered I was told that 2-3 working days so I asked again if it will be this week and it was confirmed that Yes it will be this week as my order already finished production period.
So probably the container from china is already somewhere in the docks.

I think i will give them a phone watch this space

going to call the HM forces discount number in a bit. gona try and get full 10% discount and get the ridiculous postage of £20 taken off. will report back.

Just phoned up Dell then had a live chat with one of them and they both tell me its a new product and there is still an interim period of 10 days after your order before it can be shipped so basically BULL SH-T EXPECT IT WHEN IT ARRIVES why am i so impatient lol

Happy days same here and if you look on the Tracking sheet it says delivery as 07/07/2010 so you had better get ready lol

Mine ordered yesterday just changed to shiped.

Same here, I ordered mine last week and have been annoyed by the ETA of 21/07 but I am pleased to see that it is shipped....
Time to pimp it out with some accessories- a Zagg shield and their case seem like the best options.

All these shippings they must have found that pallet they lost at the back of the warehouse lol

[Q] mobile phones direct - new email about pre-order

i have been emailed about my pre-order from mobile phones direct and now they are saying that delivery wont be in october, but they will start shipping on the 1st of november
i was hoping that i would be in the first shipments as i ordered on the 4th of sept
what do you guys think about this delay - i am seriously considering another phone, the blackberry i have now i doing my head in!

at least you have a phone to use in the mean time i sold mine so i could buy the DHD imo dont be so impatient

I was in the same position as you however I ordered from e2save (part of the carphone warehouse) on Saturday via quidco, the deal was cheaper and the parcel is out for delivery today by DHL.
Needless to say I have cancelled my MPD order today, so much for utimate HTC partner!

actually if you are getting a run around like that then i would cancel and order with someone else just for the principle of give **** service then lose a sale

Yes I cancelled my order too with MPD after waiting for many weeks. The funny thing is they didn't seem to care about me cancelling, no apology for delay or trying to convince me not to cancel, just confirmation to say they have cancelled.

Just a heads up, I ordered from E2Save on the 21st October and they still haven't shipped the phone, DHL tracking says 'Parcel data received awaiting coll'. I emailed them this morning and i'm still waiting for a reply.
Won't be a happy bunny if you get yours before me

I canceled my order with mpd last week. Ordered one from onestopphoneshop today £5 a month cheaper and should be dispatched today. Will update once I have dispatch notice.

lol no problem, I am gutted because my wife was out when DHL came so I have to wait until tomorrow to get my grubby mits on my DHD!

It's probably worth noting that I spoke to MPD this morning and they have had a shipment in and will continue to get them this week so should be dispatching them on a first come first served basis.
I'm hoping the guy I spoke to is right when he says I should probably get mine tomorrow or Wednesday, but I'm guessing Wednesday now.

the woman i ordered with today said they got a shipment of 140 just when i was ordering so it said "in stock" and so she said that i should get it tomorrow
maybe we will both get it tomorrow

Mobile Phones Direct - S*** in Service
I've ordered mine with MPD on 20th September and there is no sign of it.
I got the same email stating that they will update me about the delivery on 1st November...
I never buy with them again...

i think e2save are sending out t-mobile orders first!
i cancelled my vodafone order with them, as i had pre-ordered beginning ov october, only to hear t-mobile orders had been delivered before mine. and that people had ordered them last week, and had them next day !!!
also, all the tariffs keep changing there, last week t-mobile unlimited web 600 was £25 a month, free handset, now its £29.99 handset cost. and the vodafone deal i had has disappeared! now more expensive!!
ive given up, and am waiting til next year and 1.2 ghz ++ devices now.
and hearing all the complaints, it sounds like this is yet another rushed beta device from HTC.

I've cancelled my order with MPD just 30 minutes before. (helping those poor souls who still believe in MPD and queing there).
Ordered mine with Mobiles.co.uk (free phone + £50.00 Quidco) for the same deal on 26th October 10:00 PM. got it delivered today at 11:00 AM...

I'm so glad I cancelled my MPD order! I've had my DHD since last Monday thanks to me not being willing to wait any more!

Got mine sim free from phones 4 u [email protected] £449.95, i cancelled the expansys £499order, mind you i had rang the phones 4 u northampton, corby, leicester, market harborough, coventry, and kettering branches,
if they try to tell you it is contract only, just tell them you know they sell it sim free, they tend to back down and say something like "i have just checked with my manager and oh yes i see it is available sim free.....sir"

Further I ordered it as an upgrade and was told before that I'd get the package price... now they're saying I CAN NOT get the package price as an upgrade... If so I'm returning the phone and cancelling all my lines with AT&T I'm done with their crap.

i've talked with att and they've confirmed this. the phone will be in retail on 22nd but those that have ordered already will get it 1 day earlier.

Those of you who already got your notice of shipping today, are you new customers? I heard rumor that AT&T is playing some stocking game where they are shipping to new customers first, then Premier, then contract renewals. I ordered on the 14th early and haven't gotten notice and it was a Premier order. They listed me as back-ordered and I just hope that is a "just in case" if they run out of stock shipping to those before me so I can't point fingers why I don't have mine by the 22nd.

I'm not a new customer, Ordered off-contract from premier site. I ordered mine on the 16th. Mine showed back-order at first then changed status yesterday. Login to att website then do their check phone order status. Don't use the link that came from the email to check status because it's not updated.

Mine says the Shipped date was the 17th for some reason but still says processing and has no tracking number

Just called the customer service number and the automated system gave me a tracking number... whew! I was sweatin' it. Stupid online status is good for nothing other than added stress.

Just got my FedEx tracking number. Premier customer, off contract and I ordered it on 2/14/11!

Incorrect on the dual core point.
Also try calling them that's how I got my tracking # over the automated system. The website didn't show anything.

Very.co.uk showing 25th March delivery still

I ordered the One from very.co.uk today and noticed it stated delivery was before the 25th March, seems odd that apart from P4U it seems everyone is quoting the 29th!

"Delivery by 03/04/2013"
was it just updated recently? (0.o)

I spoke to the guys at 3 today via their sales team and they stated that they have the Silver in stock and would be delivered tomorrow should I order today the black one however isn't expected until 03/04/2013

What! I ordered from 3 yesterday an they said mine will be with me on 28th this month

I ordered mine through Very with the same date of the 25th. Seeing as it was cheaper to pay for over couple of months. However after calling them 4 times to find out when I was going to receive the device I was given the suppliers number to call which turned out to be Nokia Support. I have since cancelled the order with Very and taken out a contract with 3 instead. Device should be with me by the 28th. Hopefully.

Hahaha! This made my day! lol I wonder what could have happened if some less knowledgeable people got that response They could have called nokia and inquired about HTC Epic fail!

Interesting and annoying that different stores have different prices for sim free.
I will be in that area next Friday but by that time Asda may have shipped mine so would need to go through hassle of returning it and refund for £40 saving.

On that basis, I will be taking the day off work on Monday and if it does not arrive I will be certainly giving them a piece of my mind. I have no confidence that it will be here/there on the 25th or 27th for that matter.

People buying from Very Handtec and Asda are all in the same boat. We have no actual ides when we will get our phones.
Only places that seem to give a realistic date is Three as they delivered phones this week as advertised.
