Did you unlock your nexus 7's bootloader, flashed new ROM but messed something up and it doesnt boot? Or did you drop it and it doesnt boot anymore? Or did you hacked into Pentagon with it and FBI and CIA blocked your nexus 7 so it doesnt boot anymore? What happened? Be "a little" more specific please.

Apparently, some Nexus 7's were not formatted correctly, and the update notices this and flips out (I'm not claiming this as fact, just what I have read). Once you follow the above guide you should be fine though as it re formats everything. I had the same problem and everything worked for me.

Well, if what you say is true and you are correctly flashing the factory images with fastboot ( including the radio )
your screwed.

Download a nexus 4 ROM and flash that.
Next time do not ever ever flash a rom that is not meant for the device. Is your phone a S4? No. Is it a HTC One? No. Stick with ROMs and kernels meant for your device and you'll be good.

He said he ACCIDENTALLY flashed the ROM of a gs4. No need to rip him apart for a mistake, I think he is going to suffer enough by having to replace his defective phone.

Did flash the factory images via Fastboot ?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Tough luck mate
I'm no expert, but obviously you've overwritten your modem/radio partition, maybe even corrupted. I don't know if you could zero that partition (with dd codes) and then flash one of our radios... Not sure if that would work...
Edit:

Check this post, seems like he made the same thing, see if he solves it, he might help you.

Did you flash all the files? System, boot loader, radio... Something like 6 files? If not I would flash all the files. If so I would flash them again.

No, it's not because it's aosp. Nexus 4 uses aosp but the drivers and all are different on each device.
I'm sorry if I sounded like a total jerk before.

Install 4.1 via nexus toolkit. Then 4.2. This should install the nexus radio as well.

Help! :( Internal storage shows 6GB instead of 16GB

Hi guys,
Since the 4.3 update, I have only 6GB of internal space on my Nexus 7 device, even though I have the 16GB version
Do you guys now what can be the source of this problem and how can I solve it?
Thanks!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2382756
Total space 6gb, tells me the partition size is wrong. What would cause that, I dunno. I'd have to guess you played with more than just updating to 4.3. Anymore more to tell us?
Mine did this. I ended up formatting everything and flashing a new ROM.

No backup all stuff first than completely reset and flash a new rom. (backing up just like you normally would via MTP)

I had to pull everything I wanted to keep then formatted every partition clockwork had to offer, flashed a ROM through adb sideload then moved it all back.

Well, I'm sure op knows if it's an 8 or 16gb tablet lol. Mine is a 32gb tablet, and had been for over a year. When I upgraded to 4.4.4, mine did the same thing, it showed 6gb free, usable space. I formatted & reflashed everything but it didn't help.
What did help was locking & unlocking the bootloader. I also updated the bootloader but that wasn't necessary. For some reason, re-locking & then unlocking the bootloader reset the available computed space. I'd recommend anyone facing a similar problem on a nexus 7 after an update try the same thing, because for some unknown reason, the device defaults to thinking & reporting it's an 8gb tablet when it's really not.

[Q] Nexus 4 Binaries

Could you please explain how can I flash or install “Nexus 4 Binaries” ?
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/drivers#makoktu84p
Why do you need to install these binaries? These are the same as what you have on your device currently. Are you facing any issues?
