Hi,
i went to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800, to flash my rom with a stock firmware, but i can't seem to
find the correct one, this is my information:
pda - s5360ddlc3
phone - s5360dxla1
csc - s5360oddla2
pcode - gt-s5360maaglb
if you know where i can get this firmware, please tell me,
help will be much appreciated,
thanks
You can flash any firmware that belongs to your region and include your country's csc.
You can then update the same via software updates in phone settings to the latest available for your area/country.
Also try flashing the latest available for your region to avoid too many updates available.
ps. next time ask your question in help thread or either question and answer section and not in general section.

So i bought my tab a week ago, and since i was so used to xda and my htc phones i decided to flash the newest firmware ( which at that point was the JK5 ).
My firmware was P1000BUJI4 or P1000BUJI5 and i simply used odin 1.7 and the pit file called P1_20100909.pit to go to JK5. I never went to JJ4 ( do i needed to ? )
It went straight to JK5 with no problems, no repartion and direct boot was ok.
So i am seeing some new additions here.
People are flashing a db file after flashing the JM6 , why is that ? I own a euro tab and i have voice capability out of the box.
So if i try to go to JM6, do i have to flash that db file too or i dont ? Someone that knows should do a tutorial about what are the pit files do, and that db file and how is the proper flashing process.
I am not implying something, i am just saying that it should be done for the not so advanced users, so they wont brick their devices.
EDIT : Noone even caring to answer some simple questions ?
I think your questions are covered in the JM6 firmware thread in this section. The consensus seems to be that you don't need to flash the "db file" as you describe it. I'll be flashing a UK model tomorrow with this firmware so am interested in this too, but that thread is probably where you need to be asking (if it hasn't already been answered).

THanks for the answer, but the dbdata file had to be flashed so that i would be able to boot back to ui.
I found out everything i wanted the hard way, thanks for the answer though.
Hi To All Gurus,
I have a new Samsung GTab and planning to upgrade my firmware because the stock firmware always pop a message " Force Close " when I install any apps from Market.
My firmware is Stock I thinks it's a JPJK2, I buy this in Riyadh and I can use any sim so I think it's not lock to any provider.
I saw new firmware from SamFirmware which is P1000JPJM5 is this compatible to my GTab Arab version I may say?
I download Odin 1.7 from SamFirmware also and I saw PIT, PDA, PHONE and CSC, I download P1000JPJM5 and PIT for Euro but I don't know if this can match to my device also if I don't have PHONE and CSC it's means my GTab will not work as normal phone or 3G if I don't have the PHONE and CSC file?
For those who can answer some of my question please try to guide me so I can start Rooting my GTab also I can upgrade my device.
I will appreciate more if you can explain it to me and URL link to all what I need to download for firmware upgrade will do a lot help for me also.
Thank you and Regards to all, more power to XDA and it's users.
Don't flash any JM roms from samsung! You will be stuck with a locked bootloader and not be able to use any open developed roms here.
Hi rangercaptain,
Then how can I root my GT?
I encounter a lot of Force Close thats why I'm planning to upgrade my Firmware.
Please advice me on where I need to start, TIA.
Regards,
I got an u8800pro the other day and it bricked. I had someone unbrick it for me but the baseband is 203022 which is not working for me in the US. What is the best way to change this?
All questions in the general section please!

Did you try to flash a firmware from the oficial site?

Hello I would like to ask you... I have SM-N9005 (baseband) - N9005XXUBMH9 and I cant find any ROM for it, can you tell me whats the problem? Do I have any kind of testing model or what? Thank you for your answers... I really would like to install Lollipop on it, but I am afraid, because of my baseband... Thanks.
Baseband is the Modem its not the firmware .
Development is full of N9005 custom roms as is sammobile with stock roms .

And what do you need from this app ?
List everything in these tabs: General, CSC Code, Firmware
(actually, don't need all, but simpler to just tell you that than each specific thing). Easier still, take a snapshot of your screen and post them on here.
General will tell us your exact phone model, and CSC will let us know which country specific firmware you need. Firmware will let us know which version you have, so you don't downgrade bootloader and mess things up.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed

A word of caution. It may not be so but your confusion about baseband says you don't know much about ROM's, flashing and software components. I'd suggest have a read of the stickies (at top of each section such as Android Development) and learn what gives. You need to know the difference between Recovery and Download modes among other things.
Chances are you will want to root you phone so you can play more, but if all you want is LP, you can DL the Stock firmware for your phone (which is why the guys want the details from Phone INFO) and then flash it using Odin - a program you run on your PC that runs the firmware onto your phone.
N9005XXUBMH9
Feedback on that is that it was Jelly Bean Test firmware .In which case it may not be a genuine Note 3 but a sample .
SM-N9005: Android 4.3 Jellybean
(Current test firmware: N9005XXEBMH9/N9005OXABMH9/N9005XXUBMH9)

hey dude if i do a flashing faliure will kies fix it?
What FW is on your phone right now? and what are you trying to upgrade to?
Questions belong in Q&A, not General.
Thank you.
Now that this is in the correct place...
Stock ROMs do not come in a flashable zip format. Kies is not going to help you in this regard, and is absolutely useless for fixing flashing problems that may crop up. Thus, you'll have to use Odin, like it or not.
I'm assuming you want to upgrade your ROM, so please post the following information:
1. Model Number
2. Android Version, found by going to Settings > More > About device.
3. Firmware Version (AP, CP, CSC), found by dialing *#1234# in the dialer or by installing Phone Info from the Play Store and running it.
4. Service Provider
5. Country
6. Is the phone rooted? (Yes/No)
7. Is a custom ROM installed? (Yes/No, and the name of the ROM)
Some of this may seem redundant, but putting it all in one post makes it easier to help you.
